Thompson has been horrendous lately and Woodruff lights out since his IL stint. Make it easy and blow out the Pirates today like they should. The team and the fans really need it.

Seeing another team fail doesn't bring me much joy anymore, just want to see the Brewers succeed. The only exception would be if it helps the Brewers like if the Cardinals or Cubs losing leading to a division for the Brewers.

Just like Perdomo, they can be optioned. Can't do that with Houser but have not seen a timetable for his return, at this point a rehab assignment can get him to September.

Similar to Lamet, Suter can't be optioned without his consent. I do wonder if the Brewers gave Lamet that option or they just wanted him of the 40 man.

I had doubts Lamet could be an effective pitcher anymore and was back from his injury and I guess that is the case. More of a NBA type trade where they get a guy and released the next day just to even money out. Agree, that it would have been nice to get another prospect since the Brewer knew they were going to eat money.

Well they didn't acquire an experienced CF so hope they are considering bringing up Frelick. Taylor/Davis are not difference makers, Frelick has a chance to be one. Stearns kept on preaching internal options, time to make the move if they want to make the playoffs and have a chance at a World Series.

I'm not even somebody who proposed Soto coming to Milwaukee but who cares if people are talking about a Soto trade in a Brewers forum whether it is fun or serious. You've already made plenty of posts that Soto wasn't coming to Milwaukee, don't really need another one.

The Brewers get to play a depleted Reds team after this. The Cardinals and Brewers better take advantage of playing the Cubs/Pirates/Reds.

Brantley by a landslide, in an alternate universe the Indians went with Green instead and Brantley was a longtime Brewer. I really don't think the Brewers ever intended to give Cruz a real chance. -
The most memorable on field moment is that Diamondbacks game. Appropriate that this occurs around the trade deadline with that trade to the Indians that got rejected and he ended up with the Rangers which brought us Yelich eventually with Brinson being the headliner.

If the Brewers don't want Hiura and his 40% K rate when he is actually producing offensively they certainly are not going to want Phillips. Would rather have Davis who has a poor OPS but gets on base.

I honestly never saw anybody with a K-Rod shirt and it is an embarrassment he ever pitched for the Brewers after his woman beating incident but he will be in attendance this weekend to accept his Wall of Honor induction so the organization doesn't appear to have a problem with him. I guess Bush served his time and the victim did forgive him but still living with the effects of getting his head run over by a drunk Bush. -
The Royals waited too long to get rid of Merrifield, he adds nothing to this Brewers team. Would expect another RP, not real confident of Lamet coming back from his injury from last season. Would be surprised if a minor league OF isn't traded. Still hope for Bell or Drury.

There is no way the Ruiz the Brewers received is only worth 0.2. Don't mind giving Ruiz a shot at CF but will see if he last beyond Tuesday.

Still a couple of months away but will be a huge difference from prior years when the Brewers can send Williams out to pitch. Can't emphasize enough how bad it has hurt this team to never have him available for a playoff game.

I wouldn't be worried about him blocking anybody. If he produces he can either be traded for prospects/another need or take over for Renfroe in RF after 2023. Frelick is the real deal so need to keep him but have no problem trading Mitchell or Weimer for him.

I don't think Mancini or any Oriole is a good target anymore. They are in the Wild Card hunt and would have to overpay to get any of those guys. They might even be buyers

I'm not buying he is an excellent CF, hasn't played there since 2019 and 49 total starts in CF.

Drury and Bell are rentals and they could sit Wong, have McCutchen play more CF, Rowdy sit more agsinst LHP to help with the hitting against LHP. Laureano would be more of a long term fix and cost more but has always hit lefties. Obviously not getting all three but getting one of those players would help. -
Small certainly isn't accruing many service days. Won't need a fifth starter for a while with the off days Thursday and Monday.

I do think the Brewers end up with a Tigers reliever again, Jimenez or Fulmer. Hopefully it ends up better than the Norris acquisition. It did cost the Brewers Reese Olson last year so doubt Taylor Floyd gets it done however.

I don't believe this at all, I have been to a lot of stadiums around the country. It is no different in Milwaukee than anywhere else really in regards to fans leaving early.
