He fell short by 136 plate appearances. Maybe they will make a new criteria to get him his plaque but as it stands he doesn't get in. It would be as simple as adding glove glove winners to the list but we shall see.
Certainly did not see Jackson Reetz having an OPS over 1 in BIloxi. Always had the defense but if he can actually hit could have something. Nice minor league signing.
It always baffles me how a guy like this can get 4 years of service times and be so bad while others never get their chance. I guess if it is between Chi Chi and Kelley I don't really care. Imagine this is an easy DFA once some of these pitchers get healthy. However, would rather Sadzeck get a shot as he actually has had success in his limited time in the majors and has put in his time with the Brewers minors the last couple of seasons.
I am a little surprised they have not given Connor Sadzeck a try yet. Sure seemed like a DFA of Kelley and brining up somebody else was in the cards. Don't know if he maybe is traveling with the team since he hasn't pitched in a few games. Perdomo hopefully coming back soon as well but Barker is likely gone soon.
Mancini would be the best hitter on the Brewers, they need hitters so there is definitely a reason to get him. McCutchen is gone after the season anyways just like Mancini would be. I would be fine with McCutchen never facing a righty the rest of the season.

That's a lineup that the 2004 team that Counsell was on might even be able to beat. Hopefully it is one of those games where one can exclaim "that's baseball" and the Brewers somehow score a bunch of runs.
No, sometimes changes are made to bring in a new era but this logo symbolizes years of losing. I am sure I attended the most games of my life during this time but a lot of bad baseball and bad ownership/ management.
No, it is lifetime healthcare for one day of service, which is usually a great benefit. However, may not be as good for Hall since he is Australian and used to being entitled to medical care.
I certainly think he has earned another start and won't be a one and done back to the minors. With all of the relief pitchers they have added to the 40 man there shouldn't be an issue shuttling other guys back and forth to the back end of the bullpen.
I was encouraged when he initially came back. His first seven games back he hit 321/387/464/851. However since then he has somehow managed a 000/000/000 in six games and 26 at bats, including three double plays.
We'll see if he ever plays for the Brewers but my guess is Severino is DFA unless there is an injury at catcher right around the 80 day mark. If somebody claims him great, if not he can be called up if somebody gets injured and potentially offer him arbitration after the season.
