  1. The magic number stays at 3 but there will be 3 chances to reduce that number tomorrow. Could actually still clinch tomorrow.
  2. With today's game Garcia has reached 1,050 prorated plate appearances over 2020/21 which would mean it is now a mutual option instead of a team option.
  3. Yes, still highly unlikely they play each other and glad if they do.
  4. Not really a hot take, he is certainly on the bubble and likely leaning no.
  5. Yes, the NLDS will sell out but plenty of tickets available for who want them. The World Series and a clincher to get to the World Series is a different story.
  6. If the Brewers end up playing the Cardinals in the playoffs a lot of things went right for the Brewers, it would be awesome if they played each other in the playoffs.
  7. Certainly no Kevin Mitchell.
  8. With attendance still quite a bit down I don't know if there will even be much of a market for the NLDS.
  9. It's great what Boxberger and Strickland have done this year but I have little confidence it will repeat next year. Quite honestly don't think what they do with those guys should have any impact on what they do with Hader. King's ransom or just keep him for this World Series window.
  10. Very true but brewerfan posters have never been able to detect sarcasm without the blue, just the way it is, not going to change now.
  11. I always thought they got along when they played together, had that boxing celebration together and even did it when Fielder came back to Milwaukee for his Wall of Honor Ceremony. Fielder left right after the 2011 season and it did feel like there might have been some tension with the PED stuff but maybe Fielder just wanted to move on and didn't want to concern himself with the Brewers. Again, appeared fine when Fielder returned in 2018.
  12. I'm all for bad teams in the playoffs when the Brewers are going to make it so hoping for the Cardinals. Maybe their magical power can work one day against the Dodgers. Long term though they have no chance in the playoffs.
  13. I'm sure there is some doubt, there are some that doubted Molitor would be retired. However, they have plenty of time to do that.
  14. Seriously, what happened to Corey Ray, he isn't on the minor league IL but hasn't played in a month. Has he been traveling with the team?
  15. Will be there the next two Saturdays. Was thinking maybe the 25th might be the night but now it's looking like the 18th could be it.
  16. The AEW PPV was okay, but more about hot shotting with a bunch of new people. Story line wise it didn't really do anything. In the moment it's a nice surprise but calling it one of the greatest PPV ever is hyperbole because nothing really happened. Time will tell what they do with these people.
  17. Doubt Lauer has the potential to be top end but don't want to minimize what he has done either. It puts the Brewers in good position to not have to acquire starting pitching this upcoming off season. The Brewers have certainly given large contracts out to older and not as good versions of Houser/Lauer in the past so would great if they don't have to do that again for a while.
  18. Houser could potentially be a free agent after the 2022 season depending on what happens with the new agreement with the union so wouldn't be surprised if he was traded. Can't pay everybody and salaries for this team will be going up fast, think he would be appealing to a number of teams after the season he has had.
  19. Today is a perfect example of why Vogelbach will be on the playoff roster and why Tellez/Vogelbach are not redundant players during the playoffs.
  20. I don't know what the Brewers see I'm this guy. I understand it may only be a day but others playing better and deserve a callup.
  21. At this point in the season can't see him coming back and maybe going on the 60 day IL again
  22. Hopefully the Brewers continue to be demand an overwhelming offer and take it if they get it. If not, he is worth what they pay him.
