  1. Should be fairly easy now to bring back Jace and Yelich when they are ready to come back now at least without a DFA.
  2. Bumped seven years to the day. Lots of bad luck for Banda, hopefully he can turn things around and stick somewhere.
  3. It only included trades from the 29th and 30th, not sure why they couldn't include the 28th as well but that was their criteria.
  4. Free agent after this season.
  5. Wouldn't say no chance but close. He is a nice depth piece and significantly drop off to Reyes if somebody goes on the IL. Things tend to work themselves out and imagine it will be the case here until they get a couple of more spots in September.
  6. I need more clarification here…. So two options were used? Apologies. Yes, one last year and one this year.
  7. I am counting 40 after the trade so don't believe a 40 man move is necessary until Jace is back. Looks like the official Brewers site doesn't list Kyle Lobstein on the 40 man roster for some reason.
  8. I am counting 40 after the trade so don't believe a 40 man move is necessary until Jace is back.
  9. They might have to send a guy like Cousins or more likely Sanchez to the minors but really isn't a reason to drop them. Guys like Yardley and Lopes have been horrible and probably shouldn't be on the 40 man any more.
  10. Looks like we will be seeing Baez in the playoffs. Don't really like seeing the Mets get better.
  11. Got one right for once. Do think it helps the bullpen and a better option than Milner even though his results have not been good. viewtopic.php?p=1364175#p1364175
  12. He already had 98 days entering the year so will be over a year service time after this season and free agent after 2026 season.
  13. As I said in the prospect thread, I think Hummel will have a nice major league career so glad he is getting the opportunity. With that said, it was a no brainer move to really help the team this year. It would be nice to get a solid bullpen arm or two for a similar price.
  14. Rodgers probably wanted to see if they would call his bluff. Didn't really lose anything by doing what he did. His fan base will have his back as soon as he starts throwing for touchdowns again. I also think it is much more likely they move on from him after the season and get draft picks.
  15. I kind of like Cooper Hummel and think he will have a decent career in the majors as he gets on base and is a switch hitter. Would like to see how he is defensively though, always wondered why he was taken off of catcher and now suddenly starts playing some there again and 1B also. The Brewers seem to get a fair amount out of some of their older prospects over the years that don't get much attention, bullpen would be in a bad spot without Cousins or Sanchez right now. Barker is another guy easy to root for.
  16. Brewers still have to take care of business but would be nice if two west team face off in Wild Card and then Giants and Wild Card winner face each other.
  17. From the comments on the Giannis draft profile: seems like the type of player who’s good at nothing but average at everything
  18. I'll agree with oldguy on the preferred parking. Always seems to take way too long to get in or out to be considered preferred. I pretty much always go to the Molitor lot which is much easier to get in and out of but a little harder to find if you are not familiar with the area.
  19. I will just copy and paste what I put in 2019 as I still have the same opinion: I would pick the Bucks first and then a huge drop to the Packers and then the Brewers. Giannis is one of the best and possibly the best player in the NBA, still very young and can determine if a championship is won more than any player on any Wisconsin team. I'll go Packers second because that is the league where a team can make the leap from non playoff team to Super Bowl caliber team the quickest and they still have Rodgers. The Brewers I put last because so many things have to go right to win a championship in baseball and I probably will never believe the Brewers will win a World Series until I see it.
  20. I have no reason to believe Adames would tank after getting a contract but as stated previously Peralta is different. If he has horrible years in say year 5 and 6 the Brewers can decline the option so Peralta has plenty of incentive. I do think there is reason to sign Adames without a discount to buy out a couple of free agent years. When guys hit free agency they often times sign long contracts where the deal is bad at the end. If the Brewers could get two free agent years at market without overpaying for 2-3 declining years that is a win.
  21. Really wish the parade was Friday, the combination of work, living in Madison and starting at 11 just doesn't make it possible for me. Now if the Brewers ever win it all, wouldn't miss it for the world. Watched Game 6 at the UW Union, good atmosphere and the people there were really into it. I'm sure there were a lot of bandwagon fans but it was nice to see people from Madison get so into the Bucks. The bad part however was the second the game was over they turned off the feed and kicked everybody out, I was so ecstatic but also disappointed at the same time
  22. A lot of arbitration guys coming up, including Adames. Will be interesting to see who they can extend, obviously did a great job locking up Peralta a couple years back for what would have been two of his free agent years.
  23. A lot of bad stuff before the NWO and Attitude era. Too childish and it seemed like every wrestler had an occupation. The kids that were prime audiences in the 80s were now teens and adults.
  24. LOL at Giannis never taking over games. He already has more 40+ games in the NBA Finals than Durant and Kobe.
