  1. Wasn’t Sobotka the name of the head union guy on the docks in The Wire? Hopefully this guy fares better...
  2. Maybe they traded Arica away because he was one of the few hitters that didn’t regress under Andy Haines.
  3. Although I didn’t buy much for concessions on Opening Day, I did notice that the craft beers on the Club Level in the grab-and-go refrigerators (which I was surprised were available with COVID) increased drastically in cost. I think they were around $9.00 or $9.50 on 2019 and I think they may have been $11.00 now. In addition, sales tax isn’t included in prices any longer, and it appears that they use a very high sales tax rate. My brother bought a mixed drink at the Club Level bar and he said it was around $13.50, plus it was much smaller than before. Yikes!
  4. We had a challenge with digital tickets. I forwarded 3 of my 4 tickets to my normal group. They all received them in the app and they were visible. Three of us got in the stadium but we were waiting for my brother. His ticket disappeared from his app. I checked and it wasn’t in my account either. One of the attendants took my brother to the ticket window and by chance it was out ticket rep. He looked up our tickets by my name and saw that three of our tickets were used but my brothers didn’t. He ended up printing a ticket for my brother to use. Our ticket rep said this was the third or fourth person that this happened to yesterday. They made it right, but there definitely are some bugs in the system, but I think it works pretty well in general.
  5. From what I’ve seen, yes, parking will be cashless. Basically everything on the Brewers property will require payment via credit/debit card or phone pay options. For those that don’t have any non-cash options there will be machines to put cash in and they’ll spit out a pre-paid card. I think there will only be three of these machines in the stadium, so good luck finding them.
  6. Once they can resume games at full capacity, there are ways that they can resume ticket promotions, like the BP tickets, digitally if they want to. They’ll most likely be via digital means (like part of an app) or having some online account where you enter your receipt’s transaction ID. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this as I believe a large part of the Brewers revenue is in-stadium spend so they’ll still want to get people in the door.
  7. Drove by the stadium for the first time since 2019 yesterday. Was great to see it again. Was weird not seeing Miller Park on it, but the AmFam signage actually looks nice. I did notice that Miller Parkway was renamed Brewers Boulevard as well. Will be great to be back inside and watching a game in person in less than a week!
  8. Could they theoretically be at 100% capacity if enough vaccinated individuals show up?
  9. I was thinking the same thing. Was hoping it would be Opening Day/Weekend.
  10. I was able to get in right away and get 4 tickets in the Club Outfield. I thought the system worked great!
  11. Did you not get the link to the pre-sale until the morning of your pre-sale date? I’m a 10-game pack holder and the presale is tomorrow. I haven’t received a link to it yet though.
  12. I believe that occurred when selling via 3rd-party resellers. Forwarding tickets is acceptable. This was from an email I received from my ticket rep yesterday: “If you need to forward tickets to others you will do that in the app by sending it to another email address. The person receiving them must have the app downloaded on their phone and linked to whatever email address you sent it to.” Correct, on SH as I said. A private transaction and a fwd of tickets is fine. But I personally would not chance selling pre-sale purchased tickets on SH. I don't have a package, as a fan's choice 20 pack holder I opted to just play it month to month. Im also out of WI the first half of April so it was an easy call to just sit this out. Ah, SH = Stubhub. I missed that part the first time.
  13. I believe that occurred when selling via 3rd-party resellers. Forwarding tickets is acceptable. 14. Since I’m figuring that I probably won’t get any Opening Day tickets from the 10-game ticket holder presale, if anyone has access to an earlier presale and doesn’t want Opening Day tickets, I’d take them. You’d have to transfer them to me and I’d have to pay you via PayPal or Venmo. I’d need 4 tickets and would prefer Club level, but would be happy just being in the stadium.
  15. When does the 20-game ticket holder pre-sale start? The 10-game pre-sale starts 3/18. 3/17 is 20-game holders (and 40 game holders). Full season seat holders are 3/16, but my rep said pretty much all full season seat holders just accepted their new location. Not sure opening day will make it that far unless they hold some back to give out on that pre sale date. I am sure it will be just like postseason tickets and people will buy the max to flip on Stubhub and just not go. I think you can sell tickets on Stubhub, but you must sell the entire pod...so maybe that will cut down on Stubhub flipping as you would be left with no tickets. Shall be interesting to see if they punish people for selling their tickets like they did in 2018 for the postseason. I heard somewhere that reselling of these tickets via Stubhub won’t be allowed. Not sure if that’s true or not.
  16. When does the 20-game ticket holder pre-sale start? The 10-game pre-sale starts 3/18.
  17. Ok, I called my ticket rep to verify the process for 10-pack holders. Any games we had scheduled between 4/1 and 5/2 will have their cost credited back to my account. I can use this credit to buy games at any time, even next season. He also said I’ll have a credit for the free game that can be used whenever. So it is basically like buying individual tickets for now, until they are able to be at full capacity.
  18. Actually, after re-reading the email I think I misunderstood. I believe any tickets that were part of my plan between 4/1 and 5/2 are just being credited back to my account. I think I can use them to purchase any tickets, whenever. I’m not sure if I have to use it in the 2021 season or not. I’ll contact my ticket rep to find out.
  19. Also, it’s looking like every ticket package is essentially fans choice now, but you have to purchase individual tickets to the games you want when they become available for sale.
  20. I received an email for my 10-pack. I’m unsure of how it works though. It sounds like I’ll get credit for any tickets between 4/1 and 5/2 and then I can buy tickets with that money between those dates. I had two games scheduled between those dates, plus the free day (which I always took as Opening Day). So does this mean I have credits for three games being opened up for me? I know I can buy tickets to other games with this, but I don’t know if I have to use this credit now for the games between 4/1 and 5/2, or if I can hold on to some of the credit for future games.
  21. Eye roll at that dad joke. I thought it was pretty funny... and more clever than a typical dad joke.
  22. Probably true, although they would have held off on him until after Turner made his decision. Either way, I’d like to see Gyorko back. Was one one the bright spots of the 2020 team.
  23. Do this and sign Gyorko for 3rd and I think we’d be set.
