  1. First and third with no outs. Strike out, grounder to first that results in an out at home, and then a strike out. Sounds about right for the Brewers...
  2. That 2-1 pitch to Wong that was called a strike might be the worst called strike I have ever seen.
  3. I’m still pissed that the Cardinals got Arenado for nothing. When they got Goldschmidt I was upset too, as I was hoping the Brewers were going to trade for him. But God loves the Cardinals so we’re have to get beat by them instead.
  4. I actually like these jerseys. I think they are the best of the city connect jerseys thus far. My favorite part is the grill as well.
  5. Interesting article about this: http://joyofsox.blogspot.com/2009/04/making-three-outs-in-inning.html?m=1
  6. This inning has been fun! The Brewers should do this more often…
  7. That’s the type of run we’ve been giving up on our slump! Nice to see it happen to another team.
  8. Maybe that’s why I thought Reed would be the type of guy we’d pick up…
  9. This pitcher Reed seems like a mid-relief guy we’d pick up. Has a funky delivery and appears to have a hard time throwing strikes.
  10. We’re going to give up this lead in the bottom of this inning, aren’t we?
  11. I laugh when I see random MLB posts on Facebook about other teams’ players having good stats within the last week or so. They all played the Brewers during that timeframe…
  12. I’ve been saying this for the last few seasons. I wouldn’t hold my breath.
  13. Yep. I’m sick of hearing “(opposing pitcher) is pitching his best game in a long time” against us.
  14. At what point do we trade away one of our stud starting pitchers for some offense? Unfortunately even they aren’t performing as good as last year.
  15. Yep. Once this team gets out of its funk, its ceiling is still just making the postseason unless things really, really, really go their way (and you know how often that's happened in franchise history).
  16. I was joking to myself that Hader will probably blow this one because Pablo Reyes started the game, and when he is starting the team is in trouble. Anyone know if there’s an easy way to find out what the Brewers record is when Reyes starts a game?
  17. True. While we often tailgate, there are a few games a year we like to hit up a bar on Bluemound instead. I guess this would take away business from that area though. I could see it being a good idea for weekday evening games, where people go to a game after work but might not be able to get there early enough to grill out they could stop at one of the bars and get some food and drinks. I think the cool usage of this area would be during popular games, like postseason games, although that’s relatively few and far between. I could see it being popular after games too. We do have such a tailgating culture that many people wouldn’t deviate from their tailgates, but there are circumstances where it would come in handy.
  18. Well, in ‘11 the Brewers were in the NLCS and in ‘57 the Braves won the World Series, so those are some pretty good seasons in Milwaukee baseball history.
  19. If the facilities are owned by the Brewers and have in-stadium prices, then forget it. People would must continue to tailgate then. If the facilities are separate businesses that have close-to-normal prices, then it would be very enticing. I’m guessing that these would be Brewers-owned facilities and therefore would be close to in-stadium process though.
  20. I’ve been supportive of Yelich batting first since his struggles started. He was still getting on base at a decent rate and he definitely can run the bases well, so lead off would make sense to get him in for someone to hopefully get a hit (which is easier said than done).
