  1. Realistically a three run deficit is about the same as a one run deficit against this brewers offense.
  2. Well, this year is another wasted year of good pitching. This team has very little chance of winning in the post-season. I realize we have a good amount of injuries right now, but I have no faith that they can win against good pitching in the post-season. This series is likely what we see: a lifeless offense.
  3. Good thing they Brewers miraculously came back to win on Thursday. After the Padres put up a crooked number this inning this game will be out of reach.
  4. Did anyone doubt that Grisham would get out of his offensive funk against the Brewers? Also, Pablo Reyes might be my least favorite Brewers player of all time (after Jonathan Schoop).
  5. I haven’t been able to watch the game until in the 7th. I now see that Pablo Reyes has been called up and is playing. No wonder why we almost got no-hit… when he’s playing we are in dire straits.
  6. I didn’t get to watch but it sounds like Small struggled. I’m not worried or surprised. As a Brewers fan I’m used to our guys struggling in their MLB debut while the opponents often look like the next coming of Cy Young.
  7. Whew! I didn’t have a good feeling about this one ending too well for the Brewers with Hader pitching wild, but he got through it!
  8. Hurts to not score with bases loaded and no outs, but that was one hell of a play.
  9. There are complications so he’s staying back in Milwaukee to be with his wife.
  10. How far out of the base path was Jace? It didn’t look that far in person.
  11. It makes a difference because runs are more likely to be scored. Now if both teams score it negates the benefit, but the odds are that a game will end sooner with a runner already on second each inning in extras.
  12. I think both teams scoring is an anomaly, especially when one of those teams is the Brewers. This rule definitely is in the Brewers favor as it’s very difficult for them to string multiple hits together in one inning.
  13. Where I’m watching I don’t have audio. What is Sanchez complaining about?
  14. 4-1 now. Unfortunately that’s likely out of reach. Glad they held on last night.
  15. Yes and no. Since the offense wasn’t improved this off-season the middle relief could have been improved more (and at a more reasonable cost). Our mid-relief isn’t very good. Since we aren’t going to score many runs we can’t afford to give up 2-run home runs when we have great starting pitching.
  16. They didn’t treat the bats as a priority either…
  17. Wish the Brewers would have signed another bullpen arm this off-season.
  18. In thought the same thing. It was just inside but it was coming across the plate. Probably should have been a ball, but it wasn’t even close to being one of the worst calls tonight.
  19. I was upset that Realmuto didn’t get out of the way of the plate when there was no chance of a play at home. He could have injured Adames by still blocking the plate.
  20. Williams doesn’t have it anymore. Wonder if it’s related to his hand injury at all.
  21. It took a year, but the act of putting on a Brewers jersey finally caught up to him. That act causes abilities to diminish greatly. Actually, it’s probably is also taking the Cardinals jersey off, as that jersey increases your abilities substantially.
  22. Being at the game and having a good side angle on that hit, I was amazed at hit hard it appeared to be hit. It could be great news it Yelich is able to start hitting the ball hard.
  23. It makes sense. If you’re right you aren’t as disappointed. If you are wrong you are pleasantly surprised. It’s really the most optimistic approach.
  24. 3-3 for the road trip is a lot better than 2-4. Hope tomorrow gets them over .500.
