  1. So, I'm a 10-game ticket holder with three other guys. We are considering upgrading to a 20-game ticket package next year to ensure that we could purchase tickets to all 2018 home postseason games. Since we got the email for this, the Brewers are 0-2, including the most ever runs they've given up in franchise history. The Brewers better win a bunch of games here before the August 10 deadline for this offer expires if they want us to do this.
  2. I'm glad I'm the only one that others would consider a pessimist (although I consider it a realist).
  3. I predict Moustakas gets on and Shaw walks him off today. Being positive FOR ONCE.
  4. Yeah, Shaw's defense should be low on the concerns for this team. Until we get the offense going (which might never happen under Coles), Shaw's defense will be more than fine at 2B.
  5. It may not be a Home Run Derby jinx, but I really think the whole All Star thing, including the campaigning for the final spot and the attention that got, then participating in all of the All Star activities, put him out of whack. I don’t think it’s poor coincidence that he peaked the day the All Star lineups were announced and the campaigning began. It seems like his regression started before the Home Run Derby. I don't have the stats, but I think his regression started the day he was named the voted in All-Star.
  6. I wonder what the over/under on how many Brewers games David Gruber has watched in their entirety in his life is. I'd put it at one.
  7. I always said if a .300 hitter gets traded to the Brewers, as soon as he puts the Brewers jersey on he becomes a .250 hitter. Don't know what it is, but this seems to always be the case. Edit: Also, it's the reverse if someone gets traded to the Cardinals. A mediocre hitter going the Cardinals will become MVP of the league. Edit #2: This is why I can't believe how well Yelich is doing...
  8. Maybe that home run by Aguilar will get him going again
  9. 1st and 3rd with no outs, and the the top of our lineup coming out. Looking like it may end up with zero runs. Uggh.
  10. I've never seen as many catching issues in one series as this one.
  11. Waiting for our new guys to hit some home runs, especially since Dozier hit one now.
  12. Since struggling can be mostly mental, sometimes a blooper like that actually does turn it around. Let's hope that's the case here.
