    Or he doesn't want to make it seem like they have to trade Parra. Someone said yesterday morning the Brewers seemed like they didn't want to trade Gomez...the rest is history. That's a great point. Typically whatever the media says tends to be the opposite of what happens. I'm not sure why I'm worried so much. I guess I just see this as a major opportunity to add some prospects but feel pessimistic. There is time. I need to settle down a little.

    I think everyone is missing the biggest part of the aftermath of what went down. How long is Flores going to take crap from his teammates for crying during the game. For the record I feel bad for the kid but it was kind of funny. You know a major league clubhouse isn't letting this kid off lightly.

    Much of what happens in the next 48 hours will determine how much interest I have in the Brewers over the next few years. I'm grew up a fan and will always be one but if they do nothing and all it does is piss me off then there is no reason to tie myself up in knots over them. I have plenty of other teams and hobbies to fill my time.

    Exactly. Though it feels like if he waits any longer he'll get a pretty ugly dance partner. I'm thinking this is the peak time to trade. That's based strictly on my anxiety level.

    Why not just keep trotting him out there. Let him eat innings instead of wasting a younger guys arm. Although, would be good experience to get someone younger in the rotation. I can't decide! Now I must sound like Brewers management. Either way I think it's a low(ish) risk choice.

    I think Demi is my favorite pick so far. He could be the Brewers version of Antetokounmpo. Raw but has all the tools. Sweet.

    What's there to lose at this point? Might as well keep trotting Broxton out there. The team isn't going anywhere so either he loses them more games and improves their draft position or he turns it around and becomes a pitcher they can deal at the deadline for some minor league depth. I just thought perhaps Melvin would have learned his lesson with Gagne. Guess not.

    I think it was that they just didn't have the energy you need after a huge win against Kentucky. They have had a monster run. At some point you have a let down. Duke never really had to have that so their energy surpassed the Badgers. That and Allen killed the Badgers.

    What do you mean the 'value has nearly doubled'? It's not like a house where you can take out a loan against the value of the team. Just because the value goes up does not mean their revenue and more importantly net income goes up. If you don't have cash you can't spend it. He doesn't get that 'value' until he sells the team.

    Only reason I'm sticking with the game is some of the great posts after this meltdown. By meltdown I mean 150 days. That and my kids are watching some weird Australian gymnast movie on Netflix.
