  1. Yeah. I think people that frequent this site are the 1%'r of Brewer fans.
  2. I have a feeling this lineup is going to get no hit a few times in the second half of the year.
  3. Good luck JJ. Get a ring!
  4. Smith got knocked around tonight. I hope he's not injured and this trade somehow gets nixed. That can't happen like it did to the Padres right?
  5. No news seems like hammering out finer points with no distractions. Same thing happened last night with Cleveland.
  6. OOkay. Back to BOS, LAD, ATL. Go! Also, Lucroy and his agent way overplayed their hand. Tried to squeeze too much out of their no trade clause and now they are either going to get traded to a contender and still have the team option or play for a non contender and team option as said above.
  7. Lucroy and agent trying to save face with that Bob Nightengale tweet about 'not assured playing time in 2017'. Indians aren't giving up that package to sit him in 2017. He's an AS catcher. Nice try derps.
  8. Side note. Is there a reason Hudricourt has to be so condescending when responding to tweets? That dude is such a jerk sometimes.
  9. I don't want to get my expectations out of whack but I'm starting to get the feeling that this deadline could be windfall for the minor league system after the weekend. Relievers are netting some pretty outlandish returns. Couple that with the fact that it is one of the strengths of this team, and Lucroy? Getting excited...
  10. Now I get it and I see what you did there. Prettyyyyy, prettyyyyy, prettyyyyy, good.
  11. I think they're doing well. I should qualify that. I don't mean any of them specifically. I just mean in general they are so young and this feels surreal to compare these kids to aces and sluggers and then ask their opinion. The whole thing is odd to me. But they better get used to it I guess.
  12. I cringe at these high school kids getting interviewed.
  13. Just missed it. Why were they showing Jeff Francis? Is he in the Rockies front office or scouting department?
  14. The only people responsible for the kids are their parents. That's it. Stop blaming athletes, entertainers, etc. It's passing the buck in my opinion.
  15. Who do you want Boyer? Torres? More Capuano? The answer is our bullpen sucks and our starters can't get through 5 innings that is why. I kind of answered it same way ("Then again so is everyone on that staff sans Nelson") you did but it was just a chance to vent. I know. They are terrible. Now what I did do was complain right after I said "and I'm not complaining" so you can ding me for that.
  16. Why do they keep trotting Freeman out there? He's garbage, right? Then again so is everyone on that staff sans Nelson. I don't care how decent the offense is. I'm standing by my 59 win prediction. This team will lose all hope very soon. Injuries, losses, all that stuff adds up in your head. And I'm not complaining. I expect mediocrity for the next few years. I hope for it. Get those high picks and trade aways what's left please.
  17. I don't think Segura would be putting those type of numbers up in MKE. He needed a change of scenery after everything he had gone through the past few years. I'm glad he's having a good start and if the Brewers lose this trade so be it. Just guessing but at the time I don't think they could have done much better. I'm guessing Stearns took the best offer and ran with it.
  18. Record 59-103; last place in the Central Team MVP: There won't be one HR: Braun 32 Wins: Nelson 10 Bold prediction: Cappy is pitching coach by EOY
  19. I can't imagine it would be any different. Now I'm interested in Santana. I think he's going to be Khris Davis II, with new and improved defense. A lot of swing and miss though. I really don't think this deal makes the team any worse this year. Am I wrong? But guys, Tom still wants to know, WHO IS GOING TO PLAY CENTER?
  20. So if he's between 3 & 5 in the A's system where does that put him in the Brewers? Brewers must have better depth. Somewhere between 7-10?
