    I know some people pheasant hunt with standard poodles, and they are nothing to be trifled with. I've seen these dogs out retrieve labs. They owners get some serious ribbing about the dogs though. I would establish dominance in any manner that made me feel safest without long term injury to the dog.

    Fantasy football party tonite! Transaction pot pays 4 drinks and pizza! What a time. Had a great party with some people I see once a year at best. they are great. Party was at a bar near me, like a quarter milke away. owned be two great friends. Here's a tip; You can disagree with me any time, but don't disagree with me, offer to settle said disagreement then go back on your word, screw the bar, and then threaten to call the owner on me(the owner's very good friend) and on other patrons(other very good friends of the owner, brothers of the owner, and nephews of the owner), and the bartender(the owner's niece). IT"S NOT GONNA WORK OUT 4 YOU. And like I said I gave you a chance and you went back on what you said. Then instead of trying to settle it with me you tried to big time me. GOOD LUCK. See all you guys at work in the morning. The calves like to be fed at 5:30.

    I agree with the food idea. It is more personal than a gift card, and will be well used. The farm community has done this forever, and for any reason. If my Mom hears someone: died, was born, is sick, is divorced, is getting married, is baptized, is confirmed, is graduating, etc. There is a lasagna going in the oven and there is no stopping it.

    Sorry to hear that Invader. Relationships are very tough business and sometimes the toughest have the hardest time dealing. I think they feel locked in their tough shell. I lost a very close friend about 1.5 yrs ago to a very similar situation. I went hunting with him all day and we had the time of our lives with no mention of the ex all day. Then next morning I get the call from his bother. That "bugged" me to the extent that I took a couple days away to be by my self, and it bugs me still.

    Coffee Drinkers? My folks are getting a new french press. If she runs excavator/backhoe for work/hobby you could buy her a camera to mount on the machine to look into the trucks. Voyager makes a nice one. My Dad is gonna love his!

    What's bugging me is DatHoser's lack of cheese. As someone whose livelihood is tied to the supply and demand of cheese; I say get this man his cheese! and buy some extra for your self while your at it. Makes good x-mas gift. Cheese and sausage and beer and brat mustard and so on. Kraft shredded Mexican style taco cheese is not good. ALL CHEESE IS GOOD. EAT MORE! IT GETS BETTER AS YOU GO!

    It was full on cold at the farm today. Our barns are on top of a pretty tall hill. My grandpa said the wind came straight from north dakota up there. Big advantage in the summer when the goal is keeping the girls cool. Lots of extra time in the winter, the girls are comfortable in the cold(grandpa said they are first cousin to the woolly mammoth) but the need to keep all cow occupied areas free of any ice is great. Even though we thought our winter prep was good, our north dakota wind was finding it's way onto my alleys. Tonight everybody walks without slipping and I sleep soundly.

    Last week was my 31st b-day. Some friends and I went to the Central Coast in Fort for diner, then on to In Good Spirits to see the David Marshall Band. This evening out inspired me to go out like 8 nights in a row, mostly to my local, beloved, Captain Missy's. It is there where my new sig was explained to me. Also 8 nights in a row was 6 too many.

    I always figured you for a "This girl loves JJ" with the two big thumbs. My all time brewer teenage heart throb shirt was the "scot podsednik rookie of my life" shirt. If I only could have found that in 2xl.

    This year I would expect about 1/3 of the place to be JJ gear from shirzeys to shirts with his name/face on the front to jj hardy pins. If I remember correctly last year there was lots of sheets stuff.It's also a good place to pick up items that didn't sell too well during the season. It's where I got my linebrink and estrada shirzeys.

    I have 2 tickets available as of this morning. They are in my brothers hands, so I'm not sure of the section but they are second deck, near the stage. Face value plus fees is roughly $100 per if either of you are interested.

    I recently started on this new facebook thing; to see some of an old friends pictures. They are of his second child. Tonight I decided to upload a few of my photos. It strikes me that my most recent pictures of note are from 2007. It's not that I haven't done anything, I just never take any pictures. Also I have friends with 2 kids jeez, I'm still just a "kid" as I approach my 31st b-day.

    Agreed. I watched it while making dinner, so my attention was divided, but they seemed to take some editorial style shots at the Donald. Perhaps they were deserved. Pretty funny when Donny T threatens to attack Charlie Stiener, and walks off at the sight of the NFL damages check. Things like that make it easy for people to take shots at you. I never payed much attention to sports other than stock car racing while growing up, so I was interested in just seeing the game footage and hearing from the people. I was practically unaware of the entire episode.

    I think the only thing we can do at this point is organize the fan base to "White out" then "Anti-White out" all the stl games next year. All white t-shirts and towels with the cards in the field and all brewers blues when the crew fields. To paraphrase George from Seinfeld, You wanna get unclassy, Let's get unclassy! Also not to harp on the hypocrytes down on "the Lou" but whine about every body else, and when that game went in the toilet there was some very not classy nsfw posts on card fan sites. Stiff upper lip gentlemen.
