Back to the original topic. T.I. is going to go to prison all based on street cred. The guy is a millionaire, but he can't seem to stay out of trouble, which is a shame because I am a T.I. fan. He's potentially going to lose everything. I wonder how long until the "snitch" bodyguard is dead. -

Other than the spaced out look on her face, Brittney looked fine. The show itself was hard to watch. It was such a clusterfudge of activity. For those who did not see it, the awards were made to look like they were taking place at a house party. There was no host introducing people, just a female voice over the P.A. The celebrities would talk and announce the nominees and there would be 8-10 people behind them drinking and dancing. It was just a mess.

On a related note, I'm sure I was not the only one surprised that Braun did not get plunked after he pulled a Barry Bonds and watched his home run on Wednesday's game. The FSN broadcast showed him walking after he hit it, and then showed him having a conversation with the Astros catcher prior to his next at-bat. Bill and Brian speculated that Braun was apologizing for not running out his home run earlier.

I finally saw Superbad. It was funny, but I probably had too high of expectations going in. McLovin and the cops made the movie for me. Some parts were too gross, like the stain scene. It was well worth my money though. I'm sure I'll enjoy it more the next time I see it.

I liked Hot Fuzz so much I ordered the European version of the DVD 3-4 weeks before they released the U.S. version. I paid probably close to $30 for it, but the UK version has a 2nd disc loaded with extras.

While all these other wrestlers die, Jake "The Snake" Roberts is still alive. He will be wrestling's version of Keith Richards. Jake Roberts will never die. To the original topic, I was a huge mark for Kronik: Brian Adams and Bryan "Wrath" Clark. 2 huge guys just tossing everyone else around.

I picked up the Wii version this morning. HOWEVER, the wife tells me I have to mow the lawn before I can play. I really need to grow a pair of grapefruits and stand up to her one day.

I saw Rush Hour 3 on Friday. It was good, but it wasn't as good as the first 2. It's always a good sign when a 90 minute movie feels like it is over in about 5 minutes. It went that fast. The interrogation and dojo scenes were very funny. My main problem was that many, and I mean many, of Chris Tucker's one-liners fell completely flat. I can't wait until this Friday when Superbad opens.

We stayed at The Landing in Egg Harbor. If you are looking to save some money, look into the units there with kitchenettes. We walked to the little grocery store in Egg Harbor and cooked our own meals the whole time we were there.

Have you been watching the Brewers the last 10 years? The Brewers stunk. That's why people got so behind the hot start, because it hasn't happened in a long time.

It's also important to remember that minus Yo, this is the same rotation we had in April and May too. Cappy has shown some signs that he is starting to come around. We need to hope that the rest of the rotation can return to their April/May form.

One of the reasons I enjoy posting here at brewerfan.net is that the language is strongly monitored. My wife cusses at me enough, I don't need to read it here. Same with offensive pictures and avatars. My daughter often reads over my shoulder. This is a safe site for her to look at. I don't need her to be asking what a "jewboy" is. -

Thanks for clearing that up Matt. You would think that the ushers would care that he was stealing the bobbles. There is no other word to describe what he was doing. He was stealing. Maybe it's guys like him is the reason why I have gotten so many rainchecks this year instead of the actual bobblehead. I also love the fact that you were important to the customer service guy until he found out that you were only a 20-game package holder. -

From what I read, he hit the snake the second time around. The problem was that a snake's head will not stop a bullet.

No, it certainly sounds like the cop tried to shoot a snake out of a tree and did not pay attention to what was behind the area he was shooting at. It's a horrible accident, but the officer should be held accountable. Manslaughter charges at the minimum.
