    I don't understand why every single move the Brewers make has to be through the lens of "Why aren't we spending more money?". There's a time and a place. A one-year deal for a middle-inning bullpen guy or a minor-league deal for a catcher is neither the time nor the place (in my opinion).

    I don't think your source proves the point that tariffs don't cause inflation. Tariffs may impact one sector differently than another. So, just because steel prices didn't rise due to the tariffs in 2019 doesn't mean they won't rise for a different sector. What those tariffs did show is that tariffs don't ALWAYS cause prices to spike. Also, it's estimated that up to 50% of construction workers in Austin, TX, are undocumented. That's a big hint as to why they aren't going to do any kind of mass deportation.

    When I was a little dude, there were like 15 games on TV. Ueck's calls were all we had. On West Coast trips where I had to go to bed before the game ended, I'd scooch over by the open window (what's air conditioning?) and eavesdrop on my elderly neighbor who listened to the games on his screened-in porch. Ueck calling a game was my bedtime story. RIP.

    Adams struggled with drops his first couple of years too. I think Wicks will be fine. I do think getting a WR in the draft is a priority. Watch them take a guard, a safety, and a tight end in rounds 1 - 3
