So you think Gamel's decline this year is because of how he was handled last year? Guys get hurt all the time and come back just fine. I have a hard time believing that because he had sporadic playing time it's caused him to forget how to hit. And if it did mess with him so bad mentally then maybe he's not a guy you want to count on going forward.

Gennett had an opportunity to extend his consecutive games with a double streak but decided to leg out a triple instead. So I guess the streak is now 8 games with an extra base hit. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Question for you Robert (or anyone else), Have there ever been any original American movies that were then remade overseas? Reason I ask is that I just watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (which is wonderful) and saw that David Fincher is remaking it for an American audience (which to me is pointless unless you hate subtitles since the original is so good, but Fincher is one of my favorites so......) and it got me wondering if it's ever been done the other way. There are countless European and Asian films which are redone in America ([REC] became Quarantine, Internal Affairs became The Departed, etc. etc.) but has anyone taken on an American film in a foreign market?

Lawrie with another triple. 11 on the year. According to minorleaguesplits.com 9 of his triples have come on fly balls...not sure how accurate that is since there's some interpretation as to fly ball/line drive.

I think it's dumb to bring up a highly regarded prospect and have him sit on the bench but I really don't think it "ruins" him.

It's called a "potential" call up for a reason. He probably won't get called up if he doesn't perform going forward.

The Bucks won 29 games the second half of last year. That was no fluke. They were good. There's more talent and depth on this roster than last year. My big question is if the new guys can buy into the team concept that worked so well. Will Maggette be willing to pass up shots and rotate the ball? Will Gooden rotate on defense? Will Salmons mind if he oly averages 15 a game? The Bucks won last season because everyone bought into their roles. I hope they can achieve that again because it was very fun to watch an NBA team actually play like a team for once.
