    Nobody knows anything. I get why they don't announce trades when they happen but it'd be nice as a fan to know if this was true after the fact:

    Honestly, even if they wanted DeJean and "settled" for Cooper that is hardly a consolation prize. It's like 1a and 1b (or 2a and 2b I guess). I would love to know if they really wanted Arnold and DeJean though. Guess we'll never know. All in all though, I think the draft fell GBs way given positional need. It was a good year to not need a QB or a WR. Jordan, Cooper, Lloyd, Bullard is a great haul. I'm iffy on Hopper but I've seen several guys on GBs defense go elsewhere and get better. Maybe Hafley can get this guy to reach his ceiling.

    I think a lot of it had to do with DeJean going to GB in a number of mock drafts by the media. It makes sense if you look at where you draft and who will be available. It gets narrowed down to 5, 6 guys and then people prefer the guy that fits the biggest need.
