  1. RJ/Ridnour to Portland might be happening soon: http://sports.yahoo.com/n...21709&prov=yhoo&type=lgns (fingers crossed)
  2. I swear I remember someone on this forum a few years ago saying that A-Rod was somehow related to (or at least very close friends with) Alex Sanchez. Could he be the unnamed "cousin"? Am I on crack?
  3. Only saw the second half, but Villanueva just wasn't playing very well and Malik Allen was. Hope Portland was watching...RJ is almost making me have second thoughts about wanting to trade him. Almost.
  4. If they were going to shuffle basketball guys around, couldn't we have gotten Jon McGlocklin? I don't know if he even likes baseball, but at least he's entertaining.
  5. We certainly could trade Jefferson in the summer, but we need to get an expiring contract back. An 09/10 expiring contract won't do us any good, and then we lose 2 of Jefferson/Sessions/Villanueva. Unless Kohl decides to invest a lot more than he is now, there's no way we can keep more than 2 of them unless we can somehow trade Ridnour and Gadz alone for expiring contracts (which will never happen).
  6. Lafrenz is the only expiring, and I think he's out for the season. Outlaw and Rodriguez have 2 years left, but both are cheap and decent backups at the very least.
  7. Love it, I'd probably do that trade even without the draft pick.
  8. Yep, that was my thought. The first trade doesn't make much sense for the Clippers, but the second seems alright for everyone. How about Gadz, CV and Damon Jones to the Lakers for Lamar Odom?
  9. I'm pretty sure that if you sell, you only have to repay your profit up to $7500. So if you sell the house for less money, you don't owe anything.
  10. I wonder if it would be feasible to package Gadz with Villanueva before the deadline? I just don't think we're going to be able to keep CV and Sessions. Of the two, I think that 1) Sessions is the better player anyway, and 2) PF is easier to replace, and we might already have that replacement in Illyasova (far from a sure thing, but he's playing well in a strong league). I still think Bell mostly sucks, but I won't be so worried if he can have games like the last two every once in awhile.
  11. Thats the thing, why would he have lied in the first place? And why were they even questioning him about things that aren't illegal?
  12. I'm also probably wrong, but I thought HGH 1) isn't illegal, and 2) wasn't against MLB rules at the time. What's the problem?
  13. Please don't get injured, Clinton.
  14. I was going to suggest Kenan Thompson.
  15. Be careful! He could be a shovel slayer.
  16. Wow...at this point, we should consider switching sports. The Bucks have more Dutch forwards than PSV Eindhoven, maybe we should swap schedules with the Wave.
  17. Eh, that works. Lue was actually having a somewhat respectable season, but we don't really have much use for 3 short PGs. Bogans should be better defensively.
  18. Does the computer have a sticker with the Windows XP CD key printed on it? If so, you can probably just get any old XP OEM disk and use your existing license.
  19. I looked at a house last year where the refrigerator door opens right into the wall, so you couldn't even open it all the way. Magic.
  20. Why would you be able to claim a house that you bought in 2009 on your 2008 tax return?
  21. I don't know, I always thought Owen was by far the more interesting and intelligent of the two. That's not saying much though, Mike Heller makes Joe Morgan sound interesting.
  22. If the Bucks can somehow get rid of Gadzuric (and throw in Elson too, explaining that one is a translator for the other), whether he's packaged with Villanueva or Jefferson, I'd be ready to call the season a success. Audition some D-League all-stars, recall Illyasova, whatever. I'll keep watching.
  23. Go to crucial.com and follow their wizard to determine what type you need. Their prices are decent, though you might find a better deal elsewhere. Installing it is easy enough - they go in the only place they can fit, more or less.
  24. Very good possibility that the two are related. I've seen a few laptops that have trouble coming out of standby when the battery is low.
  25. I'm not really familiar with the Mexican league - how do they determine the groups, is it just by the overall table position from the previous season? Scotland does something similar to that, they start the season with everybody in the same group, and then half way through they divide the top and bottom, where the top 6 only play each other and the bottom 6 only play each other the rest of the way. Its interesting, but it would probably be a travel/scheduling nightmare over here.
