No I did! Maybe there's enough time left for him to make me not look like a total idiot!
-
All of us who are AARP eligible like Kratz!
-
I see what you're doing, after crowing about how good the Schoop trade was, I thought a "reverse jinx" just may work better too!
-
Now I get it! DS is the type that stays at the bar until closing time with the beer goggles on!
-
Could he be in contention for NL Comeback Player of the Year?
-
Certainly an impressive AAA debut!
-
After looking at Machado since the trade and Schoops struggles, is changing leagues that big of a variable?
-
Thought I'd check in on Manny, not quite burning it up since the trade .265/.348/.784 4HR with 31K's.

Adding a lefty for the pen?
Jaylyn replied to StearnBrewliever's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Exactly, if memory serves me right, he will need to be added to the 40 or be exposed to the Rule 5. -
The frustration level on this team is growing day by day. Someone needs to call a players only team meeting or that dugout is going to explode!

You take the good, you take the bad! Very sad day, can't believe I watched that show, but as a 13 year old at the time had such a crush on Jo! I have to wonder, just how many times has that show been referenced on Family Guy, I know there has been quite a few! Hope Seth can work in some kind of tribute for her! What a great actress! God Bless Mrs. Garrett!

Of the three trades DS has made this past week, this is the one I like the most. Didn't like losing Kodi Medeiros for Soria, but I understand. Sad to Phillips go, thought he could be RF for a few years, but again I understand. Schopp is a steal, Ortiz MAY me make regret my support, but it's a BIG MAY. Carmona is interesting, but light years away and Villar is well, Villar! I have heard a phrase thrown around for the past couple of years in regards to a certain politician, but if anyone is actually playing 3-D Chess it's Stearns!

O's are tearing it all down.
-
Agree, what else though?
-
Harvey and it will be surprisingly cheap.
-
Thinking that Realmuto is going to take a BIG package to get. Hiura, Ray, Peralta and pick of Ortiz/Ponce/Supak. That's a lot to give up, but someone like Realmuto, Degrom or Madbum is probably worth it. Truly an "all in" move.

Interesting trade, certainly some asymmetrical thinking on the part of DS.

Baltimore Orioles how low can they go??
Jaylyn replied to Bulldogboy's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
They are a mess! First, they need to get as much as they can for Jones, Britton, Schoop and Trumbo. Davis is going nowhere, we thought Braun was aging bad, Davis is a train wreck and paid big money through 2022! If I'm them, I'd hang on to Bundy, Gausman and Cobb. Actually, I think a Brewers-O's trade would match up well! I'd offer Britton to the Brewers for Santana, Medieros and a lotto pick. Santana needs a change of scenery, don't think he will ever be the same again for Milwaukee. Did you see what the Mets got for Familia? I don't think there is any way the Orioles are going to get that kind of package back for Britton. No I didn't, after looking at it I can see why you say that. That is quite underwhelming! Why didn't DS check in on that! That's really a bad deal if your a Mets fan. Familia numbers are good and that's all they could get? I know this is a O's question, but the Mets are right there with them in poorly run teams! DS should offer a Brat for Asdrubal Cabrera, that may be good enough for the Mets! -

WAAAAAY too much for Duffy. This time last year may have been light but he has had a down year and is expensive. If KC could get Ortiz alone and get out from under that contract I think they would be ecstatic. WOW, just checked that Duffy contract. Still, Duffy is a good target. Perhaps that is a bit much to offer considering, but I would still make the call to see the asking price. https://www.kansascity.com/sports/mlb/kansas-city-royals/article214905840.html

I would target Starlin Castro or Asdrúbal Cabrera for 2B upgrade. Thinking they could be gotten for a Santana+ lottery pick. Danny Duffy from KC for Ray, Ortiz, and Derby.

WAR? What is good for? I'm sorry, can't help myself!
-
Well that didn't happen!

Good Luck Eric! I look at Sogard and see manager written all over him!

Got in late night and watched the game highlights and to say the Orf HR was special is an understatement. From the fans, to the team reactions after he got to the dugout, that was a moment that should give anyone who has played or a fan of this game the warm fuzzies!
