  1. Turnbow. We love you! I'm sending mind hypnosis to Coco. Coco: Repeat after me. This is not Arlington, Texas. This is not Arlington, Texas. That replaces no loner exists. This is game is being played in Santa Fe. We are not in Arlington. Last night after the game, we boarded a plane to Santa Fe. remember? Yes? Its hot in Santa Fe. You are the best closer in Santa Fe. When I snap my fingers all memories of place once known as Arlington will be erased from your mind. SNAP
  2. Bush! We just got back in the game. why you giving up runs.
  3. This Ranger manager has the quickest hook in baseball. Unless, Padilla is having health related issues. He also pulled McCarthy last night in a 1-0 game. Am I missing something here?
  4. Yeah. I'm not going to throw Bush under the bus tonight either. He's throwing well. Pounding the strike zone. Mixing it well. Sometimes I just think he needs to throw like 15 extra pitches in the pen or maybe 15 less...something to help with those 1st innings. How about that Prince guy?
  5. 4 innings and 8 left on for the Crew. Ironically, Graffy and Counsell have become our 2 most consistent hitters.
  6. So when Weeks returns our line-up should be this... Weeks or Hart Hardy Braun Fielder Weeks or Hart Jenkins Estrada Hall P That looks like a line-up that should score some runs.
  7. Ned's line-up. Holy Crap, he actually moved Estrada down. Ned finally found a lead-off and #5 hole hitter, sadly its the same player--Hart. Counsell-2B Hardy-SS Braun-3B Fielder-DH Hart-RF Jenkins-LF Estrada-C Hall-CF Graffy-1B
  8. I noticed that too. Does MLB and ESPN still have some kinda weird blackout deal or is that just MLB and FOX? I see that its on 667, but not listed on the MLB Extra Innings package (734-750). That usually means DirecTV won't be showing it right? EDIT: Unless, I fly to the Dallas-Ft Worth area via a wormhole or something I think the chances of TV tonight on my DirecTV are slim. I just read this on DirecTV's website. "ESPN BLACKOUT INFORMATION: ESPN maintains their exclusive national broadcast window for all Major League Baseball games on Sunday nights, therefore, no telecast can be made available for out?of?market distribution. As their rights are for night games only, any games which start after 5:00pm ET (2:00pm PT) cannot be distributed out?of?market. However, on the first Sunday after the All?Star Game (7/15/07), no game with a start time after 3:00pm ET (12:00pm PT) can be distributed out?of?market. http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/global/contentPage.jsp?assetId=1100045
  9. I'm going to chalk this up as bizarro weekend. I mean the Nats are on the verge of sweeping Minnesota in the HomerDome. Levale Speigner and has 9.10 ERA outpitched Johan Santana last night. The Earth is not balanced. So I'm going to try and forget what happened last night. We have 7 games left on this road trip. I'm praying for 3 wins...4 and I might dance a naked gig in my yard. Please, though, I need a little streak of good baseball from this team. So I'm marking the 9 game homstand starting next Monday (3 vs. Giants, 3 vs. Royals and 3 vs. Astros) as the potential start of something good.
  10. brewmann...you might be onto something. its been a painful month with a lot of tough losses... the 2 games in philly, the late inning implosions at Miller Park against the Braves and Cubs during the last homestand and especially tonight. I may join you on the week break. could be a good thing. i think i'll check back on the team next thursday. thats sheets' next scheduled start and the way he's been throwing I'd hate to miss one of his starts but in the end, who am i foolin? I'll be back here tommorow hoping Dave Bush can salvage at least in Texas. i'll take monday off
  11. That was just crazy odd to Coco. Gets the first two out and then is ahead 0-2 on the next 3 batters, but all 3 end up getting hits? Was he not throwing his slider? Weird. Just some bad Arlington ju-ju for Coco. 22 of 23 is save opportunities is still nothing to complain about, but if the demons of Texas comeback to turn CoCo into Salamon Torres. We'll be pointing to this game for awhile. Quite a few tough losses this past month. This is likely the toughest though.
  12. 7 games left on the road trip including 3 in Detriot and 3 in Minnesota. You gotta think 3-4 is likely the best possible scernerio with the way the Crew is going at the moment? I could easily see this team at .500 around June 15, but still holding onto a 3-4 game lead in the division?
  13. Three straight hitters at 0-2 and then that? Unbelievable Had a chance to gain a game on the division.
  14. Thats the best Turnbow we've seen in about a month
  15. Marlon Byrd? When did this guy become servicable?
  16. Crazy Line-up Night! Tony Gwynn CF Gabe Gross DH Ryan Braun 3B Prince Fielder 1B Corey Hart RF Geoff Jenkins LF Tony Graffanino 2B Damian Miller C Craig Counsell SS Kenny Lofton CF Marlon Byrd RF Michael Young SS Sammy Sosa DH Frank Catalanotto LF Ian Kinsler 2B Brad Wilkerson 1B Ramon Vazquez 3B Gerald Laird C
  17. I fear the tone of the board if the #5 starter on the AL's Statistical Worst Starting Rotation beats our Ace. Come on, Sheeter! http://images.beijing-2008.org/18/81/Img212018118.jpg
  18. This game is painful to watch. I have faith that Sheets will beat the Rangers #5 starter Saturday night, thus giving us a chance to take the series on Sunday. My one shining thought on bad night of Brewer baseball.
  19. Bad Soup on Wednesday. Bad Cappy tonight. Lead possibly down to 4.5. This game had on oh-no feeling from the get-go.
  20. Anybody know what Scott Karl is doing pitching for the Crew tonight? I thought we traded him in 99. Can someone tell Cappy this is an interleague game at an American League Park. He's pitching to these guys like he's expecting the pitcher to be up next?
  21. Yeah. I'm hoping he drops Estrada down a few spots in the order too. But for some reason I'm doubting Yost does that just yet?
  22. No clue what Yoster is thinking, but I'll take a crack at his line-up tonight. Hart- RF Hardy- SS Braun- 3B Fielder- 1B Estrada- C Jenkins- LF Hall- DH Counsell- 2B Gwynn Jr- CF
  23. Though I'm a DirecTV MLB pakage subscriber, I don't think I've watched more than 2 total innings of any Ranger games this season. But looking at these stats, please for the love of all that is holy tell me we'll hit Robinson Tejeda. The guy has not got out of the 4th Inning in 3 of his last 5 starts and has an ERA near 11 in his last 5 games? No easy task against their line-up, but you'd think if our pitchers can keep the Rangers at 5 runs or less we should be alright. We're throwing our top two starters at them. Sidenote**I'll definitely be watching Homer Bailey from 6 to 7:30. Very curious to see that kid.
