  1. Matt V screwed up the Moiltor 39-game hit streak story horribly. It was not a walk-off HR
  2. This is very beautiful to watch. 6 more innings of this and its like yesterday never happened. When did the Crew start mashing lefties? The 5 of the last 6 they've faced have all been knocked around hard... Lowry, Zito, De la Rosa, Wandy, Hill and Marshall. Only Odalis Perez had a decent start against them
  3. Alright Crew Offense. Games in Wrigley last more than 1 inning
  4. The Cubs may take 2 of 3 in this series and then will get swept by the Nationals in DC. Thats just the way they work.
  5. I trust Sheets on Saturday. The road is still not our friend. Gotta look big picture. 10 game road trip. 5-5 or 6-4. Still puts us 14 or 15 above .500 at the break. The Cubs are hot, but can very easily drop 5 or 6 straight on a whim. Get em on Saturday!

  7. Its going to be a fun weekend. Two hot teams in Chicago with the Cubs looking to get right back in the thick of things and Milwaukee possibly putting double-digit distance on the Cubbies. Can't wait for Friday. Yo in Wrigley and then Sheeter on the Fox Saturday Game of the Week. If scenerios... Brewers Take 2 of 3: Lead up to 8.5 Cubs Take 2 of 3: lead down to 6.5 Cubs Sweep = lead down to 4.5 Brewers Sweep = lead up to 10.5

  10. Bush. Looks like this throws a kink in Ned's plans? Rotation Set To All-Star Break "After Capuano passed his test, Brewers manager Ned Yost lined up his starting rotation through the All-Star break. Yovani Gallardo will start Friday's series opener against the Cubs, then will report for bullpen duty until further notice. Ben Sheets will start Saturday in Chicago and Yost named Dave Bush to start Sunday over Claudio Vargas. In Pittsburgh, beginning July 2, it will be Jeff Suppan followed by Capuano, Vargas and Sheets. Bush, Suppan and Capuano will then pitch in Washington as the Brewers finish the first half."
  11. Yes! Nice Inning D-Bow. Prince, Hall and Jenks. Lets get one for Coco!
  12. Bow wanted nothing to do with El Caballo. Cant blame him
  13. Bring It Bow! 2 Ks. Let's Get the Horse

  19. Gvn tht its a lfty 2nite in Wandy & a rghty tommrrroww for the Hoston I thank we'll see a Millr start behnid home platte
  20. I agree with that. But why skip Bush again? He threw a gem on Saturday night. Maybe Yost will throw Yo, Sheets and Bush against the Cubs instead of Yo, Sheets, Vargas? Do we know who will start Sunday?
  21. Does anyone find it interesting that we're skipping Bush's start in Chicago?? http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/news/probable_pitchers.jsp?c_id=mil "Gallardo will take the mound in place of Dave Bush, with manager Ned Yost skipping his turn with Thursday's off-day." The Cubs will see Yo, Sheets and Vargas. If we're starting Yo over Bush against the team closest to us in the standings... How can you put Yo and not Bush in the bullpen? I mean you trust Yo against the Cubs more than Bush.
  22. Sheets is working hard tonight. 90 pitches thru 5 innings. Good results. Bullpen needs to redeem itself tonight. Its likely going to be called on for 3 tonight.
  23. Those last two starts look very good. 7 innings pitched and just 2 ERs in each. Cant complain one bit if we get that line tonight. The 2.1 IP is an anomoly because Sheeter was basically pitching hurt and went on the DL for an extended period after that game. Just keep pitching like you have been Sheeter
  24. From Hawing in the 6/23 Game Thread Yep! I'll be there too. Section 127 Row 7 Seat 7. I'll buy a beer for the first 5 bf.neters who come down to my seats and say..."catching WOAH SOLVDD. Lou Palsmo is hitting great" I've actually been in town for all 3 games. *Smallball. They can do that too *Hart is a sparkplug. *Cant get much better than Villy's 2 innings on Friday *Nice start for Bush. Great to see! Excited about YO Time on Sunday!
  25. Nope. Ned just wanted to keep Soup on his regular 4 days rest. Instead of both Soup and Bush working with 6 days rest. Ned has it lined up like this.. Fri: Soup vs. JDLR Sat: Bush vs. Bannister Sun: Yo vs. Odalis Perez Mon: Sheets vs. Jennings Tue: Vargas vs. Wandy Wed: Soup vs. Woody
