  1. Yost always seems to be cautious ith players and playing time in their 1st full seasons. I'd be surprised if a healthy Hart gets more than 120 or so starts.
  2. Burnie. I guess we might be getting the Dodgers FS feed tonight? I think its Fox Sports West? If you're in the Milwaukee viewing area, though, I guess a blackout is very possible?? I'm still not sure of those rules.
  3. Hey Burnie...If you have DirecTV you should be getting a Free Preview of MLB Extra Innings. The game will be on Channel 742. So you can watch it tonight there. The preview ends on Monday.
  4. Not sure who commented about expecting Miller to play, but I'm guessing Miller will likely see action in day games after night games or night games before day games and possibly not much more. I think Yost is also done assigning catchers to starters etc. That didnt work out to well when he did that with Moeller and Miller.
  5. Yeah. I think thats it Russ. Only potential change would be have Mench and Hart switch spots in the order, but I doubt that?
  6. Love the graphics. Cant wait until it shows Sheets vs. Lowe on April 2nd. Is Cappy going to homeplate with that throw...that looks painful. FYI Here is the lineup for today's game: SS Craig Counsell 3B Tony Graffanino 1B Prince Fielder CF Bill Hall LF Geoff Jenkins RF Gabe Gross C Damian Miller 2B Ozzie Chavez LHP Chris Capuano

  9. Hope all enjoyed the running box score! Its up in Page 1 of this thread for those who skim through...
  10. Thanks Toby. I might take you up on that offer. I'll give half inning by half inning updates within this post. So watch this one for constant re-freshing. First update: Mariner starter change. Expected starter Bobby Livingston has been scratched and Matt Thornton will be making the start instead. Mil: CF. Clark SS. Hardy RF. Jenkins 2b. Weeks 3b. Koskie 1b. Cirillo LF. Gross C. Miller DH. 11. OK. I'm back after an extended weekend vacation to Chattanooga TN and will try/hope to do a running box score for this game...just like I did for several of the ST games last year. Here we Brewers....
  12. Macgruder? I'm not buying that. We'd get Dingo Durrington behind the plate if Miler and Moeller contracted a serious case of the flu.
  13. OK. In Tomo's last start I used the thread to speak Japanese. Ohka didn't win, but pitched very well in 7 innings. So here's hoping that trend continues when I speak Tomo's native tongue. Tomo = eesu, tonight we hope. Hopefully, the suraida and chenji appu are working well tonight. A anchi kyojin: Anti-Yomiuri Giants (kyojin being the Japanese word for "giants"). 14. we need to get to this infamous d-back bullpen quick. Vargas is at 95 pitches
  15. Rickie the daburu pure is bad when on offense.
  16. pasu boru on Chad scores a run. darn. thought Tomo would get out of that?
  17. Madison for barn-burner let's try.... shiiso gemu: seesaw game
  18. Since Tomo is on the mound, I'm going to be speaking his language today. So for reference as to what I'm saying. Here we go: Most Japanese Baseball terminology was borrowed wholesale from the American game, so with a little creative thinking it is not to hard to follow Japanese broadcasts with little or no knowledge of Japanese. A sampling: A anchi kyojin: Anti-Yomiuri Giants (kyojin being the Japanese word for "giants").
