I'd love a quick inning from Sheeter. Like 8 pitches totals. He's out 70 pitches thru 4. If we could get 7 out of the guy somehow. That'd be huge. -
Not quite what I was looking for from the Counafanino...just a fly ball guys
-
OFFENSE!!! I love it. jenks hitting lefties, Estrada driving in runs! Yes YES
-
Tigers get 2 on and 1 out and I was worried. Forgot for a second that this Sheets guy is pretty darn good.
-
Nice RBI Braun! Durbin out in the 4th???
-
Didnt Chris Bosio have some crazy streak like that? Back in 1992 or was it Cal Eldred in 92??
-
Some solid ABs by the Tigers that inning...Inge, Granderson and Infante. They made Sheets work that inning. He got through it, but that was some good battling to watch. Smart hitters vs. a very good pitcher
-
When this series began, I said "just give me one of the first two and I'll take my chances with Sheets on Thursday." They did exactly that. Can't complain about anything now. Hats off to Villy and Billy. I swear the balls must look like grapefruits to Hall at the moment. Down 1-2 in the count against Rodney. He takes 2 balls just off the corner...gets the count to 3-2...looking dead red and there we are. Villy. What else can you say buy Thank You. The pen looks to be a tad drained at the moment...especially with no Villy and I'd assume no Wise on Thursday
-
Yes! The Bow gives up a lead-off hit and then turns into Derrick Turn-Nasty. Come on, Coco! Hey Brewer offense hows bouts a run or two of insurance just to be safe??
-
Billy is BACK
-
Nice tossing Spurls.
-
Crap. Shoused.
-
I think the match-ups in Minnesota are: Bush vs. Baker Vargas vs. Boof Soup vs. Lockey But, hopefully, we'll be good to go on Monday at MP against Noah Lowry and the SF Giants
-
A run! I'm dancing!
-
Billy Hall is about to be the #4 hitter again... I think he's close? 1-6 constant... Hart Hardy Fielder Hall Braun Weeks
-
Villy has been very solid thru 5. He's at like 80 pitches. Might be able to give us one more...guy threw 23 pitches on Sunday. This has been an outstanding performance and he should be up 4-1 at least. Hats off to you Villy!
-
Mench! Wall there. Thats grace
-
Hardy.. That sucked
-
You have to like that approach too. He inside outs a ball to the opposite field. Billy seems like he's about to start doing some really good things. I mean the guy squeezed Verlander for 3 walks in 3 ABs. He's obviously seeing the ball. Now we just need to score...Maybe next inning?
-
Villy gets the start. For some odd reason that makes me feel a tad better about this game?? I hope Cappy is fine. This sounds like a 15 Day DL injury. They can make it retroactive to last Sunday...so that would put him back in the rotation next Monday--the 26th? We'll see. If Villy throws well tonight I bet he gets the temporary rotation spot??
-
Yep. Finally got one right. I had a feeling we were going to get both Estrada and Miller in the line-up. This isnt a bad line-up at all.
-
I hate to turn this into a line-up thread again, but I think I have an inkling into what Ned might do against a lefty at an AL Park...only LH is Prince 2B Graff SS Hardy 3B Braun DH Fielder RF Hart LF Mench CF Hall C Estrada 1B Miller Or he could move Hart to lead-off...move Graff to #9 spot
-
I agree with Billy Joe Robideaux
-
Maroth is kinda like Eddie Harris in Major League. Eddie: "Of course if the umps are watching me real close I'll rub a little jalapeño up my nose, get it runnin', and if I need to load the ball up just wipe my nose."
-
No way! Maroth is about to get Menched! Is he still on the team? Thanks to Kevin the Brewers getting no hit woah is about to be solvdd. In all seriousness, I actually think the Brewers win this game.
