CC's line today...2 IP, 8 H, 13 R, 7 ER, 1 K, 6 BB...he blows out his arm on short rest and blames the Brewers so no pitcher ever wants to throw for us again.

It's a good thing we've got a well rested bullpen with Sheets going 2 innings Wednesday and a 12 inning loss yesterday...at least we've got CC on short rest going tomorrow.

Question for you rluz: The playoff odds assume a given probability of a win for each game. They assume little/no correlation from one game to the next. Are streaks more likely in September? Granted, if this is the case, the Brewers are more lilely to continue lsoing versus not...but if they can rattle off a few wins here...is there anything statistically that would show a higher probability of a streak? Just curious. -

Way to get off the mat BrewerTerp!!! You've got me fired up!!! For all of you on the east and west coast and that glorious point in between. For all of you that can post a mountain of stats or know the name of the backup catcher in Huntsville. For those of you that froze your butt off at an April game at County Stadium with plenty of hope or a September game with no hope at all. For those of you that thought Alex Grammas would come in and take us to the next level or thought the same of Davey Lopes. New fans, long time fans, young ones, old ones...Ned haters, Ned lovers and all points in between...don't give up!!! 9 games left...6 weeks left. If Sveum could pull off the Easter Sunday miracle...anything could happen. Hang in there...it will either feel like it did yesterday or turn into the greatest month ever...I'm willing to take a shot...I'm all-in. See you all in the IGT in 4 hours!!! -

I'm so miserable right now, words cannot describe. I know these guys feel the same way. It's not a lack of effort, even Ned was trying his best, it's just so many things. I will be back at the TV tomorrow and again all weekend rooting them on to the bitter end, no matter how excuciating losses like these are. I just have to believe it will make winning that much sweeter, if and when it ever truly comes. -
And now we bring Marmol and Wood into it, versus DiFelice, Dillard, etc... This team continues to amaze me, all set up...uggh...
