Also, Arcia with 8 HR's by June 1st is a real nice treat. Just a real nice treat.
-
In terms of roller coaster, this is the best game of the year thus far, yes? Am I missing one?
-
That's a great observation. Amazing if it has happened before. Maybe during September call ups?
-
As a Wisconsin sports fan ... I wasn't sure anything in this decade would come close to the feeling of Rodgers not getting up after a dropback. That was it though.
-
Moustakas getting hit maybe makes the Shaw decision a touch easier. I hope not..
-
So hard to send the kid down... it is a simply a money move to send him away right now. Shaw can back up the infield.
-
Random note: I'm assuming that picture used of Musgrove is in the rain and I think it is awesome.
-
Perez for Braun all day today.
-
LOL - I'm getting a kick out of Sveum's call outs. The Hiura hating crowd has also quieted down I see...
-
Clancy, would the Angels be better with Keon in CF over Trout with all of the money savings? Why are all-star players ever signed if they can save the money and use it on a roster of replacement players with 1 plus skill?
-
Thames and his almost .400 OBP. Through all the ups and downs with that guy ... he always has taken his walks.
-
This is Hiura's "welcome to the big leagues" stretch...
-
Zach battle. Eflin has been good/great this year. Hopefully out Zach keeps up his wizardry.
-
I'm going to be a bit rattled when Arrieta buzzes Hiura as a "welcome to the show" after he had a good first day.
-
Hiura on pace for Rookie of the Year.
-
Possibly... but it is probably Thames whose roster spot is most in jeopardy. With Moose and Shaw on 1 yr deals we likely need to keep Shaw around in case Moose leaves. Also, Shaw might become a bargain contract after this year.
-
One of the first times in my life I was hoping a ball we hit would stay in the yard. I wanted Keston to have an RBI opportunity. Definitely will take the 3-0 lead though .
-
Hopefully that top half took long enough that Peralta thinks it is the 3rd..
-
Hardest schedule in baseball and a game out of the best record in the league. Well done gentleman.
-
With how fast we pulled pitchers last year (needed plenty of pinch hitters) ... I was surprised he never got a look.
-
Braun cares not for the Wrigley wind. I like our outfield A LOT if Gamel gets 10% more starts for Braun over what the current rotation is.
-
Couple of 7 pitch first innings for the starters. Off and running for a 2 hr game
-
Even being the optimist I try to be ... I didn't think we'd be able to get both against MadMax and Strasburg. What a sweet little sweep this would be. Let's go!
