  1. You think Daric Barton is going to get $7.5 million?
  2. Sanders has already been extended, he's in the first year of a 4 year 44 milion deal.
  3. Here's a link to the salary cap situation for the next few years. http://hoopshype.com/salaries/milwaukee.htm Zaza, Mayo, Ersan, Dudley's contracts all expire after next season. So, as of right now we have another year before we can be a major player in the FA market. Which will probably work out just fine. I totally agree with your opinion on the stadium issue. Well said.
  4. Anybody see video of the Jabari dreamshake last night? Here are the highlights from the win vs. the Grizzlies. http://www.nba.com/bucks/video/teams/bucks/2014/10/09/greenbayhighlights141008mp4-3401746
  5. I'm not ready to throw in the towel, but I have no problem w/ him going to AAA and refining his game. He had a .592 OPS this year.
  6. I'd like to see Jed Lowrie brought in. Not sure how much he'll get paid though.
  7. I think it's Broxton, Smith, Jeffress, Thornburg, Henderson, and I could see one or both of Duke/Gorzelanny returning.
  8. I'd like to see the Brewers target someone who is blocked like Scott Van Slyke from the Dodgers.
  9. Maybe it's because my first 20 years watching the Brewers were pretty much terrible, but I really don't think the Brewers are in a sad state right now. You see tons of Brewers merchandise everywhere, and they have never been more popular in my lifetime. Attendance has also never been stronger. Call me crazy, but I think with a few changes, we have a chance to be pretty damn good next year. Our minor leagues are beginning to get some good prospects(Coulter, Arcia, Taylor). Things could be a lot worse.
  10. Thank you for all the work you put into the link report everyone. My morning routine wouldn't be the same without you.
  11. And AP is back after his one week suspension. Amazing.
  12. I don't think they'd fire Roenicke, but I didn't think they would fire Yost, so who knows? I wouldn't be upset if they did.
  13. Agreed CheezWizHed, I think people are going to be focused on Parker and Giannis, and not to worried about wins yet.
  14. Ahh yes, thanks for correcting that.
  15. I've always liked Liverpool, but have never considered them my team until this year. I'm excited to officially be finally be cheering for a Premier league team! It used to be just cheering against whoever Man U was playing. FC Bayern is still my main team, but I just think it's time to start getting more into the Premiership.
  16. I meant I disagree that this year needs to be all about moving those vets.
  17. I disagree. I think this year is all about developing Giannis, Parker, Henson, Knight, Sanders and the rest of the young core. I don't want to see the Bucks go out of their way to play the mediocre vets just to up their trade value, while hindering the development of the young core. Why do we need huge cap space right away? IMO, we don't need to be huge factors in the FA market, we need to develop through the draft.
  18. This is a little late, but I'm very disheartened by the only 2 game suspension for Ray Rice by the NFL. He knocked his wife out, and drug her across the hotel lobby floor. I've decided to protest the NFL until a legitimate suspension is handed down. I've missed only a handful of Packer games since I can remember, but I'm guessing I will not be watching any more football. Makes me sad, but having daughters, I can't support a company that treats that kind of behavior lightly. Roger Goodell bugs me.
  19. I guess it's kind of cool, but I'd rather they have guys that actually have a chance to be an NBA player.
  20. Very excited about Monte Harrison's start in Arizona. Hit his first home run yesterday.
  21. My Mom threw a World Cup party, and we watched it in my basement. I remember it like it was yesterday.
  22. I think now that Brewers fans has seen some success, it takes more to pump them up. We have a good team, w/ a few obvious holes. I think if DM does a good job of filling those holes, and we continue to stay in first place we will see fan interest rise.
  23. Now is the perfect time to make the change. So I expect at least 2 or 3 more starts for him.
  24. I'm a fan of Estrada, but w/ us being in first place and Jimmy Nelson dominating AAA, I'd like to see the Brewers move Estrada to the bullpen and give Nelson a chance to stick.
  25. I think Loney makes a lot of sense for the Brewers. He's a solid player, could platoon w/ Reynolds. Definitely a big upgrade over Overbay, and probably won't cost much. As for Price, I'd be surprised to see the Brewers give up what it would take to get him. Although he would definitely make the Brewers an elite contender for this year and next year. A pitching staff of Price, Lohse, Garza, Gallardo, Peralta would be pretty special.
