  1. I wish more players were more aggressive on the 1st pitch.
  2. Ke'Bryan Hayes signs 8-year contract extension with the Pirates.
  3. @ CHC 4: 2-2 @ BAL 3: 3-0 STL 4 : 3-1 PIT 3: 2-1 @ PHI 3: 1-2 SF 1: 0-1 @ PIT 3: 1-2 CHC 2: 2-0 14-9.
  4. I am going to steal some of the standings stuff from Keith Law I think his predictions for the NL Central are pretty accurate. NL Central Standings: Brewers 91-71 Cardinals 80-82 Reds 77-85 Cubs 83-79 Pirates 62-100 Brewers Categories Most Valuable Player: Urias Cy Young: Burnes Most Surprising Player: Ray Most Disappointing Player: Yelich Under the Radar Player to Watch: Singleton Rookie of the Year: Ray, after an early injury to Cain Ray steps in and puts up solid defense and a surprising .260/.323/.413 season in 100 games.
  5. I think the Brewers win 90 games and run away with the division by August. Keith Law agrees with the win amount. From The Athletic: https://theathletic.com/3231780/2022/04/06/mlb-season-projections-playoff-picks-2022/?source=user_shared_article ”The Brewers are the most anonymous great team in baseball right now, and I know market size and TV bias toward showing certain teams is a factor, but I think it’s also the way they go about it: The Brewers are a run-prevention machine, with three incredible pitchers and outstanding defense, but their most famous player is a guy who hasn’t been good since fouling a ball off his own knee in September 2019. Their depth chart listings for first base as I write this are a thing of unspeakable beauty: Rowdy Tellez, Keston Hiura, Mike Brosseau, Jace Peterson, Tyler White and Jonathan Singleton. It’s a glorious list of hasn’t-beens and a perfect indication of how the Brewers feel about paying for production at that position.” I think they will win the WS over the Yankees in the bottom of the 13th inning in game 7 after going down 4-1 in the top of the 12th off of a grand slam by Wong. Wong wins the WS MVP.
  6. We can end any Jose Ramirez trade ideas as he has signed an extension with Cleveland.
  7. This should end the Jose Ramirez rumors.
  8. Majority of my friends are 10-15 years younger than I am. We decided on Vegas instead as it was cheaper. It is for a bachelor party so about 5 or 8 of us.
  9. Just don’t want them to fall down to the 4th or 5th seed.
  10. That is one crowded OF. Surprised Wiemer got the bump to AA thought he would stay in Wisconsin for a few months before going to AA. I think Lutz is probably the main 4th OF.
  11. Not by all that much and definitely not enough to trade away Mitchell/Frelick and a Comp B.
  12. Hate saying this is a must win but the next two games really are must wins.
  13. Yuck no thanks on giving up Frelick/Mitchell and a Comp B pick for Meadows. I don’t think Meadows would move the needle all that much from what the Brewers already have. If the Brewers were to trade Frelick/Mitchell I would prefer someone better than Meadows.
  14. Well my adblocker is also coming just being transparent here.?
  15. The Bears are thin at DB, DL and LB. Their biggest need is WR and OL but they do have other holes that they need to fill mainly at DB.
  16. Meadows to Tigers.
  17. Chicago is probably going to go defense or offensive line with their first pick in the 2nd round unless one of the WR drops to them. I don't see them trading out of that pick to move up or for someone like Metcalf. The current GM in Chicago is a question mark as there isn't much information out there on what he will do. I am thinking he may trade out of his first pick if there isn't a CB or WR that he likes at 38 and gets an additional 2nd or 3rd pick.
  18. This is always a funny read. https://www.espn.com/espnmag/story?id=3773521 The last I read something about Sheets was that he was just enjoying his time with his kids. I think Uecker did an interview with him in 2016 maybe earlier? One of his kids will be going to Auburn and the other is like 15 now I think. I also agree that Sheets would be awesome either for radio/tv.
  19. Bucks have fallen to 3rd with the last two losses. They are in danger to dropping to 4th or 5th if they don't start turning this around this coming week. The Boston game is a must win if they want to avoid being a 4th or 5th seed.
  20. Bucks getting no love from the refs in this game. Phantom fouls for Dallas but actual fouls not being called when the Bucks are going to the basket.
  21. McClung going 2-2 off of Randy Johnson. I believe this was the game Johnson passed Clemens for 2nd in the career K mark.
  22. Mets to be without Scherzer and deGrom to start the season.
  23. If you have T-Mobile from 4/5 - 4/11 you can claim MLB.TV for free for the whole year. https://www.t-mobile.com/mlb
  24. deGrom to have an MRI on his right shoulder. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/jacob-degrom-injury-mets-ace-to-undergo-mri-on-tight-shoulder-opening-day-start-in-question/#:~:text=New York Mets ace Jacob,on his tight right shoulder.
