  1. Right which is why I think avoiding the Nets in the 1st round is good. Playing two straight tough series makes it less likely the Bucks advance to the ECF. I like the odds of winning one tough series versus winning two.
  2. Good thing Darvish signed with the Cubs and not the Brewers. I will take old man Cain any day over Darvish.
  3. Nets beat the Cav's and will be playing the Celtics. Yeah I am fine with not being the 2 seed.
  4. This umpire is so inconsistent on calling balls and strikes on the low corners.
  5. First major injury in the draft with Chase DeLauter breaking his foot. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/chase-delauter-potential-no-1-pick-in-2022-mlb-draft-to-miss-at-least-three-weeks-after-breaking-foot/
  6. I really wish the Brewers would have been able to get Suzuki this off season. He hit 2 HR's today and is now leading the NL with 3 HR's. Early in the season but it is looking like Suzuki was the best off season signing so far.
  7. I don't think he would mind if he thought Bohm was someone they could fix and would be an impact bat. Plus they would only need to carry Gregorius for this season as he will be a FA after this season. So it is not like it is a long term contract that they would be committing to.
  8. This is probably going to be an early to mid May return for Urias.
  9. Depending on how the Phillies value Bohm they could package him with Didi and get rid of that salary also. So something like Didi and Bohm for Hiura, Zamora and Brosseau. Value wise it would be close but then again that is on how much you value Bohm. I am not sure Bohm is a 3B and he maybe better as a 1B defensively maybe even in LF. If Bohm has to be a 1B I think his value drops a bit because of that and maybe you can just do Didi and Bohm for Hiura and Brosseau. This would give the Phillies some salary relief while getting a question mark in Hiura and then a utility player in Brosseau. Bohm would be a good platoon partner for Tellez at 1B and playing occasionally at 3B when Urias needs a day off. I am not sure I would do this deal.
  10. I think there is more correlation to the shortened spring training having an impact on the Brewers pitchers at least right now. A lot of 2-0 counts to start and then when they do get ahead they are throwing completely no competitive pitches. It looks like the shortened spring training has impacted the Brewers pitchers negatively. Woodruff looks like he was impacted the most by this. It looks like he is not able to find his release point for his off speed pitches and the hitters know this and are just sitting on his fastball.
  11. Consumer prices rose 8.5% in March. Still not worried about inflation?
  12. Except Castellanos so far only has 1 hit on the season so he would be in the DFA category by your standards.
  13. Your post makes no sense at all. Why would it matter for other teams? It clearly has had an impact on the Brewers pitchers it not having an impact on other means very little but then again your posts hardly ever make sense anyways.
  14. So many non competitive pitches when getting up 0-2 from the starters in the last 4 games. This shortened spring training did not help.
  15. Ovechkin scored career goal 775 today which puts him 119 short of Gretzky. It looks like as long as Ovechkin stays healthy he should pass Gretzky near the end of his current contract. I will still take Gretzky over Ovechkin but where does Ovechkin rank all time?
  16. The Bucks are going to be the 3 seed. I don’t see Boston losing this game. Which is fine with me. Home field doesn’t really matter all that much in the NBA so not much of an issue being the 3 vs the 2. I think the matchup is far better playing the Bulls over the Nets. Even if you beat the Nets that is more than likely going to be a full 7 games. Bulls should be done in 5 games.
  17. With the loss today the Bucks will either be the 2 or 3 seed depending on if Boston wins or loses. If Boston wins they will be the 3 and if Boston loses they will be the 2 seed. I would prefer the 3 seed as that would match the Bucks against the Bulls which I think is an easier matchup than facing the Nets.
  18. Peralta still coming in overly amped in the first inning and not finding the strike zone is still a problem after 3-years. He needs to learn to calm down and not come in so amped up in the first inning like he is coming in game 7 of the World Series in the 9th inning pretending to be the closer.
  19. Suzuki would have looked nice in a Brewers uniform but way to risky apparently to go after a Japanese player........
  20. LF WHOAAAAA SOLVVVD with Lutz?
  21. I watched Metal Lords on Netflix cheesy but good.
  22. Thankfully I am working from home today but my allergy medication is not working today. I think I have sneezed about 30 times this morning and my eyes are so watery I probably couldn't even drive if I wanted to. What is worse the pollen count isn't even that high today.
  23. I think if the Bucks win one game they can't be any lower the 3rd seed. It is why I said the Bulls and Celtics games were must wins. Those two wins basically eliminated them from being the 4th seed if they just win one game which should be doable against the Pistons. The final game of the season will be meaningless and they can rest all of the starters if they want to. I think the 3 seed would be the best as that should set them up against the Bulls. That is a more favorable 1st round matchup than facing the 7 seed which will probably be the Nets.
  24. Would be nice if Yelich didn't watch the first pitch go for a strike and then strike out on an off speed pitch in the same area. I really hate the Braun watch the first pitch go by no matter what approach.
