  1. If your goal is to dump Yelich then the best option assuming Yelich waives his NTC would be with the Padres. Something like Yelich and Houser for Hosmer and Hassell/Weathers. If you want something better in return you would have to include someone like Hader in the mix with Yelich but I would prefer to trade Hader on his own rather than mixing in Yelich with his value. For Cain I think there is a bigger market for him. Teams like the Giants, Yankees, Phillies, and the Angels could use someone like Cain. I don't think the return will be all that great but at least there will be teams that would be looking at Cain as an improvement over what they have now in CF at least defensively.
  2. I don't see a scenario where the Brewers improve offensively without going beyond their targeted budget so Hader looks to be the most likely player to be traded this offseason. I am not sure if the Brewers get full value but he is more than likely going to be the one who gets traded this offseason.
  3. There is no legitimate 1B that will be available in the off season at least not in FA and for trades it is rather barren also. CF should be fine Cain wasn't all that bad this year. The Brewers will have to replace Garcia in RF with someone not sure who and if Yelich and Hiura don't bounce back there isn't much the Brewers are going to do anyways. The best FA option is Bryant and he is more than likely out of the Brewers price range. The only other option really to get a good bat would be to trade Hader in the off season and see if you can get an impact bat for him but that is probably the best option the Brewers have to getting another impact bat in the lineup.
  4. I really really really really hate bunting. Reason number 1 billion why bunting is just stupid.
  5. No fastball control for Ashby today was his undoing. His slider was also a little flat and very hittable more than likely he is just gassed. Sucks that there was no minor league last year if there was Ashby is probably not as tired as he is now.
  6. If you have an elbow protector on or anything really if a ball hits the protector it should just be a ball and not a HBP.
  7. I believe so, but I haven’t seen anything official. Can’t imagine they’d play at 4pm if they didn’t have to. Obviously it would be the only game on Thursday in that scenario. It would be the only game so the game would move to the primetime slot.
  8. Wow off the bat that sounded like an innocent pop out to the OF. I didn't think it was going to go all that far.
  9. On the super slomo replay it does hit the ground first but really hard to tell if it wasn't simultaneous.
  10. Poor. lol Oof. I swear that was damn autocorrect. Which makes no sense because poor is a word. I thought it was just a play on words lol.
  11. If the Brewers would have scored before Peralta came up to bat he would have stayed in but they didn't so had to pull him to try and get some offense.
  12. Urias pre swing stance looks like he is trying to be something between Counsell and Youkilis.
  13. I am pretty sure Duvall didn't even pick up the 3rd base coach the runner on 1st base who had the best view of the ball didn't even pick it up and was full out running to 2nd base. That was just some really bad baserunning like Duvall was trying to run back to the locker room to see if there was anything left over from the pre-game meal.
  14. Ummmm how is that not a strike???? At least it didn't hurt the Brewers like it normally does.
  15. Not sure to put here or somewhere else but Kyrie has been banned from the Nets until his vaccination status is resolved. https://nypost.com/2021/10/12/nets-announce-kyrie-irving-is-banned-from-team-until-hes-vaccinated/
  16. If Counsell did what you are suggesting he should of been fired on the spot. Bunting with your pitcher has to be the dumbest idea I have heard in a long time. The right move was to put in a pinch hitter there. I think Counsell just used the wrong pinch hitter. Should have been Jace or Escobar in that situation and not Vogelbach. With the way the offense has been going you have to cash in with one out and you have to put in a pinch hitter. You don't know when your next opportunity is going to come up and you have to take advantage there in the playoffs. If this were the regular season sure send up the pitcher and hope for a walk or a wild pitch or something but not in the playoffs.
  17. Yeah I don't understand the bickering over putting a PH in that situation it was the correct call and it just didn't work out there. The Brewers only had one other chance to score runs in the game which they hit into a DP so CC made the right call in making the PH call in the 5th inning. When you have limited opportunities to score you have to go for scoring the runs when you can and yes that means PH for your pitcher in the 5th inning. It didn't work out that didn't make it a bad or incorrect decision.
  18. Swinging at ball 4 wasn’t so good. Angel Hernandez CB Bucknor is that you?
