  1. Not my favorite but the only way I have been able to drink that is with cranberry juice or a cola.
  2. Not even close to Molitor.
  3. Nice to see Giannis and Lopez playing up more when help is needed on Young. Game 1 they were playing way to far away and just allowing Young to get whatever he wanted. Some good defensive plays by Middleton and Jrue.
  4. Bucks are not playing around this game. As much as Bud gets flack for not adjusting the Hawks coach is just as bad maybe even worse. Their defensive plan is just horrible. Offensively it looks like it is chuck up a three by Young or have him drive to the hoop if that doesn't work then it is in give up mode.
  5. Wisconsin and Carolina flipped this year with the MILB realignment.
  6. Then you are good and should be fine.
  7. This was a planned promotion from AA to AAA. It is just a coincidence that Anderson also was injured at the same time. Even if Anderson wouldn't have been injured Small would have been moved to AAA.
  8. That should be ok for just basic computing but multi-tasking you may see some slow down depending on how much RAM you have. For video recording/editing depending on the software you are using that should be fine but will also be dependent on how much RAM you have this is both system RAM and the amount of RAM on the video card I am assuming this is a basic laptop which means it won't have any or very little. If you are using ADOBE Premiere Pro then no that processor is not going to work at all. I believe that one is below the minimum specifications for ADOBE Premiere Pro. I really hate laptops but if you are traveling or don't have the room for a desktop then they are preferable though you can get small form desktops that perform 10 times better than a laptop and are actually smaller in size and cost far less.
  9. For Moran it really is trading a poo poo sandwich for another poo poo sandwich. The value is just not there you can quote his OPS all you want but you are ignoring all of the other information out there. Moran is just not that good of a player and no matter how many years are left on a small contract won't change that. Bell is another player who if traded today wouldn't bring much back for the Nationals. Mancini is probably the only one who would cost the most to obtain in a trade otherwise the only other choice is Gallo at 1B who has a lot of value and could be had in a trade. Bell, Moran and others have very little to no value and you are talking about trading someone that is very far down on a teams prospect list. A fair trade for Moran would be someone like Medina, Dillard, Wiemer or Fry. That would be a one for one trade but we all know majority of trades are not one for one in MLB so lets break that down even further. To get to Moran's value you are looking at something like this in a more realistic MLB trade: Ward, Crawford and Spanberger. That right there is what Moran would cost in a trade and to me that is giving up way to much for him and giving Moran a more inflated value due to his extra years of control. Now for Bell a reasonable trade for him would look something like this: Erceg, File and Fry. Bell is having a bad season so I doubt the Nationals will try and move him now as his value is going to be extremely low. Mancini is the hardest player to figure out a trade for since Ashby is more than likely off the table. That leaves Turang and I don't see the Brewers trading Turang for a 1B. The only way I see the Brewers getting Mancini is if the Orioles really like Hiura and they think they can fix him then something like Hiura, Small and Dillard makes some sense here for both the Orioles and the Brewers. This would all depend on what the Orioles think of Small and Hiura but that is the only trade that I can think of that makes sense for both the Brewers and Orioles without including Ashby or Turang in the trade. Mitchell is also not available unless we are talking about someone like Chapman then Mitchell would become available I believe. With a Chapman trade it is trying to find that 2nd piece that is the hard part. I think Zamora is someone that the A's would want as he screams a player they would be high on but he would be the third or fourth piece in the trade. I don't believe the Brewers would include both Turang and Mitchell in one trade unless that player was like a Yelich type. Aguilar is a little tougher as I am not sure what the Marlins would be looking for there but something starting with Warren probably makes the most sense after that I am not sure.
  10. Just because a team unwisely overpaid someone for production doesn't mean that other teams also need to do so for an unrelated player.... Says you. Look around the league it's not 2004 any more. Any type of every day starting player in the major leagues in making 7-10 million. Heck, Moustakas got 14 million from the Brewers for 2019. It's the reality, if a team is looking to sign players for their starting lineup for less, they're shopping in the bargain bin of older veterans, players coming off major injuries, etc. Thus, the fact Moran is making 2.8 million for the Pirates and has two more passes through arbitration makes him incredibly valuable. If Moran was a free agent right now he'd be looking for 4 times as much or more per year. Moran would be the bargain bin free agent he is basically a higher slugging version of Sogard. So at most Moran would make on the open market is about 4.5 million so just a little under double what he is making now and that is if everything goes right for him in free agency. He could also see himself in a Travis Shaw type situation where he signs a minor league contract with someone with an opt out date. Moran's contract may make him a little bit more valuable but his offense and defense takes a lot of that value away. Prospect wise the Pirates are not going to get a top prospect for Moran at best they are looking at a teams 20-30th ranked prospect which means they are not going to get a very good player or at least one that has a lot of value right now.
  11. I'm not sure the Twins would even trade Sano as the return would be really bad. I don't see many teams giving up much of anything from someone with this slash line: .193/.273/.437. A .700 OPS DH doesn't have much value if any at all. A best case scenario for the Twins would be a Ray for Sano trade which would be a massive overpay by the Brewers. Something more realistic would be Spanberger and a wildcard from the DSL. Sano is just not the player he was during his rookie season. Basically you are trading for Hiura without the team control. Sano has the same warts as Hiura and wouldn't be an upgrade at 1B at best it is a wash at 1B between Sano and Hiura. Actually it looks like Hiura is trending on the same career path as Sano.
  12. Defensively it might be a good idea to bench Lopez also. He just can't help at all on the picks as he is standing 15 feet away. Starting lineup should be Jrue, Middleton, Tucker, Portis and Giannis. Lopez needs to be coming off the bench and Connaughton should be locked up in someone's basement so Bud doesn't play him.
  13. Connaughton why is he not on the bench?
  14. MVP doesn't mean you are the best player in the league just that you had the best season.
  15. Connaughton needs to be benched. So many bad shots uggg.
  16. That is normal here. If the team is doing bad there are more visiting team fans than home team fans. Even when the Dbacks are doing good there can be more visiting team fans than home team fans. The Cubs, Dodgers, Giants and Cardinals can be really lopsided. If you think Cubs Brewers is bad in terms of Cubs fans versus Brewers fans it doesn't even compare to Dodgers vs Dbacks probably a 70-30 split in the favor of the Dodgers even when the Dbacks are playing good.
  17. Antoine Kelly would not have the value you think he has. First, he had a major surgical procedure on his throwing shoulder last fall and will miss most if not all of 2021, he has yet to really pitch above Rookie ball, and the next time he throws in a game it would be his first time since August of 2019. No GM is going to trade a cost controlled major league player for Antoine Kelly. I'm not sure the Brewers could get any of the players you mention above for Turang alone. You are over valuing those players and under valuing Turang and Kelly. Aguilar, Moran and Bell don't have that much value. It is a buyers market at 1B. There is maybe one or two teams with a need at 1B and about 5 players who are available who can play 1B. Aguilar is only worth someone like Kelly, Ward, etc. Turang is a top 100 prospect talent Aguilar is not worth that. The Nationals would be lucky to get Kelly in return for Bell. Moran is just a guy and not worth all that much in a trade.
  18. The earliest this would come into play looks like would be the 2023 season maybe the 2022 season? I think 12 is fine but would prefer 8 teams. I think the March Madness comparison is spot on. I believe about 90% of the time the top 4 teams are going to win which is probably right around the same for the top 4 in basketball. There is probably more variance in basketball than there is in football but the underdogs having about a 10% chance of winning I can live with that. Another topic that is probably big for college sports in general is the recent supreme court ruling which is going to challenge the NCAA's authority on if student athletes can be paid or not or how much they can earn. Kavanaugh's thoughts on this will be used to challenge the NCAA's authority and I believe the NCAA is going to lose and I believe this is the right course of action.
  19. College football playoffs being expanded to 12 teams? https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/college-football-playoff-takes-next-step-toward-expansion-to-12-team-format-173402568.html
  20. Turang looks to have some sneaky power. He doesn't look like he projects to be more than a 5-10 HR a year player but there is some power in his bat.
  21. I will go with about treefiddy.
  22. I suggested that the 76ers trade Simmons before the season started. I think the 76ers missed their chance to get max value for Simmons in a trade.
  23. I was 99% sure a foul was going to be called on that shot.
  24. Durant is probably the closest player talent wise to Jordan. Would be an interesting matchup to see prime Jordan versus prime Durant.
  25. That is only if the Vikings win the super bowl.
