  1. I think you just love drama and love creating it. I wouldn't be surprised if your favorite sport shows or at least the ones you watch have either skip bayless or stephen a smith on them. If they have both you are probably in your glory with all the drama that they create.
  2. The Cubs are looking like they are dead again. Maybe try and pull off a trade for Bryant? Something around Turang, Small and another piece I think gets it done. I think the Brewers would be more hesitant to pull that trade off than the Cubs would be. The Cubs fans would get over trading Bryant to the Brewers if Turang or Small become a mainstay on the team.
  3. I thought the Bucks didn't want to win and were going to Iose in 7?
  4. I wouldn't be upset if PJ stopped shooting 3's for the rest of this game. They are not bad shots though but yeah he just doesn't have it tonight.
  5. I don't mind the Marv mistakes as much as Miller repeatedly saying the same thing over and over again. If I have to hear the two Olympians again I am going to scream.
  6. One problem with actually running an offense with Giannis is that he is one of the worst pick and roll players in the league when he doesn't have the ball.
  7. I am going to go with 13-11.
  8. New drinking game every time Miller says Olympian you drink and every time he says medal you take a shot?
  9. Just me or does Portis get hacked a lot and no call is made?
  10. Kind of expected. Would have been surprised if the Brewers got one starter.
  11. Stop shooting them, they have 40 points inside. Just stop. They still need to shoot some but they need to stop forcing them. Connaughton and Forbes need to just stop.
  12. Uggg Forbes and Connaughton. 3 bad shots in a row by the two worst players on the court. Anyone but these 2 idiots.
  13. Is it sad that thought also came into my head this afternoon? I feel like there have been like 3 pretty good, rolling Brewer teams that went into Pittsburgh and got swept. The 5-game sweep being one I think?
  14. [sarcasm]Yelich sucks and should be demoted to the DSL for not getting a hit off of Sogard!!!!!![/sarcasm]
  15. NCAA athletes can now sell their name, image and likeness. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/ncaa-approves-interim-name-image-and-likeness-policy-removing-restrictions-for-college-athletes-to-earn-money/
  16. Can we just bench Connaughton and Forbes already.
  17. You’re kidding. Right. No Peralta is always iffy in starting his games you never know if you are going to get good Peralta or bad Peralta. A lot of the times he gets way to amped up and excited for the game and he is all over the place please see todays game as an example. You can't really do that later in the season where there is more pressure on the team to perform and close out the season. Sometimes it takes Peralta a few innings to finally settle down but by that time he is at 50 pitches and going for a 4-5 inning start.
  18. I believe the teams set that but I wouldn't be surprised if the NBA is the one who sets it either. The players definitely don't have any control over what they are listed as each day. At least it is not the NFL with Belichick manipulating everything all the way to the last minute of who is injured, out, doubtful or whatever else there is in the NFL.
  19. One of the reasons why I just can't see Peralta being more than a #3 type starter. He gets way to amped up for a big start and everything is all over the place and it takes him 1-3 innings to settle in and by that time he is already at a high pitch count. Peralta to me I have no confidence knowing if he will have a good start or a bad start and I would be leery on starting him late in the year.
  20. Hummel's got a cannon for an arm. From that 2019 article that boosted him to my vote for #1: "During Spring Training in 2018, Joe Ayrault — my manager in Carolina the previous year — told me that he wanted to try me in the outfield a little so that I could get more at-bats during the year. Outfield wasn’t totally new to me, I had played a little in college. I was in left field the next day and the first ball that came to me, I hosed a runner at the plate." https://www.brewcrewball.com/2019/11/25/20982116/milwaukee-brewers-cooper-hummel-prospect-interview If there had been a minor-league season in 2020, I think Hummel would be up, probably in that Vogelbach role, and I think he'd probably have had some time at 1B in AAA. He got a runner great but no where in that article does it state he has a good or even a cannon for an arm. I don't see any scouting reports that back up what you are claiming that he has a good arm or even a cannon for an arm. Hosing a player at the plate doesn't really mean much if it was Jonny Estrada running the bases you don't need a strong arm to throw him out at the plate. He was also in LF doing this so I am going to go with the coaches here and say he is a LF and won't see much if any time in RF and that is probably because of his arm is not strong enough to play there. With him getting very little to no time at 1B I don't believe the Brewers see him as a 1B and thus in the Brewers eyes he is a LF/DH only.
  21. Unlikely. Even if Garcia doesn't stick around for 2022 RF is not open for Hummel and since he hasn't played any innings at RF in AAA I don't believe the Brewers think he can handle RF. Taylor is already ahead of Hummel so he would get the first crack at RF in 2022 if no free agent is added. I wouldn't be surprised if he is someone that is claimed in the rule 5 draft but also wouldn't be surprised if he is just another AAAA type either. Hummel doesn't really have that much time to impress either at least for a starting role. The 5th OF spot may become open as Taylor becomes more expensive. But Gray, Ward, Ray and others are either just behind or ahead of Hummel. Hummel really has this year and next spring training to impress as Mitchell should end the year in AA which puts him on track to be in AAA at some point next year. That means in 2023 Mitchell is then knocking on the door and if Hummel isn't playing for the Brewers and starting or is the 5th OF he will be more than likely passed by Mitchell for a starting role and will be on the verge of being passed by Gray, Ward and others as the 5th OF.
