  1. I only got B's and C's in high school but got only A's and B's in college mostly just A's. I guess I did all of my partying in high school or just wasn't all that interested in the subjects during high school.
  2. If the Brewers trade Hiura today at best you are looking at something like a AAAA player in return. So basically a McKinney or Peterson type of a player, is that really an upgrade over Hiura? I don't believe that is an upgrade right now and doesn't really make the team all that much better. If the Nationals are out of it by the deadline there are two 1B options in Schwarber and Bell. Neither Bell or Schwarber should cost all that much in terms of prospects.
  3. I hate R! I prefer Alteryx or Tableau over R. I will even take SAS over R.
  4. It is really hard to trade superstars in baseball and get a return that is as valuable as giving up that superstar. For example for the Brewers to have traded Yelich after 2018 or even 2019 if he wasn't injured would have been asking for the impossible to happen. For the Brewers to get a return on value for Yelich you are talking a Gore, Tatis and one or two more prospects in return type of a trade. I don't believe any team would do that. Why trade away that much cost control for someone like Yelich? At best you would probably get Gore and Abrams for Yelich. That is a lot but probably not the return the Brewers would want. It is just extremely difficult to trade someone like Trout, Yelich and others and get back the value in return that they are providing.
  5. Another idea is to get an ARDUINO or a raspberry pi if you haven't gotten one already. There are a lot of cool things you can do with both of them and even some of the basic younger kids stuff are rather fun to do. Google does have a summer camp for coding that is geared more towards high school aged people. https://buildyourfuture.withgoogle.com/programs/computer-science-summer-institute/
  6. While a degree in computer science would be good he should also do hackathons and other events depending on what he is interested in. A coding boot camp would also be beneficial if he hasn't had much in terms of coding experience.
  7. It isn't double but you will have to pay any tax if the state you buy from is less than the AZ tax
  8. I would say it depends. You would have to ask the dealership some are nationally and they maybe able to do it. I think the car rental companies could do this if you bought from them but not 100% sure on that. At least she doesn't live in Arizona she would have to pay the WI tax and then when she went to register the vehicle in AZ she would have to pay the AZ tax also.
  9. Hendricks has a nice change up which is extremely effective against lefties. Also Pina hasn't started in a while so it was probably his day to start regardless.
  10. The NBA allows you to subscribe for the whole league or just an individual team. Not sure why MLB is making this so difficult. With or without a local blackout? I believe there is still a local blackout.

  12. This is interesting: https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nba/bucks/2021/04/20/milwaukee-bucks-sign-rookie-mamadi-diakite-to-multi-year-contract/7306470002/ Nice to see him get a multi year deal.
  13. The Brewers really haven't been afraid of a players defense when drafting players. Hiura being the most recent example of this. If they like the player overall I don't think defense will be a factor on why they don't draft a player. Defense can be taught though the Brewers haven't really excelled at doing it.
  14. Toews hasn't looked healthy for the last 3-years something is definitely wrong with him. I hope it isn't something serious but he has been very lethargic and slow the past few years. Maybe it was just age that caught up to him but he has looked like a 35-year old defenseman with one good leg. The Blackhawks need to reset and get under the cap if they are every going to win again.
  15. Some of these possible trade targets are probably not realistic for one reason or another but here is a list I could come up with for bats. Still way too early to predict who won't and will be available and their value. Schwarber and Bell may not be available if the Nationals are in it but I don't think they will. 1B probably has the best options offensively with Rizzo probably costing the most prospects wise. At 3B you have some nice options but no one I would give the farm away for. Bryant is probably the best option at 3B but I would be concerned if he could stay healthy. 1B: Josh Bell, Kyle Schwarber, Trey Mancini, Anthony Rizzo, C.J. Cron 3B: Kris Bryant, Kyle Seager, Jeimer Candelario For a Bryant trade to work I think a fair trade would be Lutz and Bettinger. I don't think the Cubs would go for that but Bryant's value probably won't be all that much come the trade deadline. The Cubs biggest asset is probably going to be either Rizzo or Hendricks. Rizzo will probably have a more depressed market as there won't be that many teams looking for a 1B. Maybe the Yankees come calling for Rizzo but I wouldn't expect a top 20 prospect in return the Cubs may only get a 50-100 type player for Rizzo plus a couple in the 150-200 range. Hendricks if he is healthy and pitching well should bring back the most for the Cubs but that means they are in full on rebuild mode and should sell of their next best assets in Contreras and Happ. Happ and Contreras though may have more value in the off season so I wouldn't expect either of them to be traded. For the Brewers the biggest question marks and chances to improve are at 1B, 3B and RP. I think the Brewers will add someone like Seager if Shaw is struggling during the deadline and maybe someone like Schwarber to platoon at 1B with Hiura if he is still struggling. Otherwise maybe another utility infielder type will be added. Another option would be to empty the farm for Chapman. I am not sure the Brewers even have the players the A's would want in a Chapman deal to be honest. For relief pitching there is Rosenthal, Swarzak, enter any other reliever here. It is way too early to predict the RP market for trades but I think Swarzak would be someone on the Brewers radar along with Rosenthal if the A's are out of it.
  16. What a game going on! And probably will be ruined by stupid extra inning rule. I love the extra inning rule!
  17. The Dave Bush ones. I think he took one or two into the 8th inning and one into the 7th? I think he didn't finish either due to a high pitch count.
  18. The impact to moving back 1 foot may have more of a negative impact than some may think. Adding another foot makes it harder for the pitcher to be accurate in the strike zone. If they move the mound back by a foot robot umps better be coming also for calling balls and strikes.
  19. As was predicted by pretty much everyone. He was toast well before he even hit free agency. There were some on here screeching about the Brewers not signing him and the world ending because of it.
  20. Aldridge has retired so much for that pickup being meaningful for the Nets. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/lamarcus-aldridge-35-retires-from-basketball-due-to-irregular-heartbeat/
  21. I think the closest the Brewers have come to what Burnes is doing now is 2004 with Ben Sheets. If Burnes can duplicate that oh my that will be awesome. I don't think he will get the same amount of innings as Sheets did in 2004 and will probably be just short in terms of strikeouts but I think it will be just as dominating as that 2004 year Sheets had.
  22. You keep on repeating these lies? Why?
  23. LOL I read the strategery in GWB's voice.
