  1. So does this mean the Knicks are going to get Davis? Trade the #3 and a future 1st round pick for Davis? I don't believe the Celtics are a favorite anymore their 1st round picks are not all that attractive right now with the 14th, 20th, and 22nd pick in the draft that is just blah even if they include Tatum or Brown. I don't see how the Celtics get Davis. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Celtics lose Kyrie though that maybe a blessing in disguise for them. Maybe the Knicks land Davis and Kyrie? I think the Knicks have enough cap space to do this. I don't think Kyrie and Davis would be all that good together and it would hurt the Knicks long term but hey they are the Knicks.
  2. The Bucks also missed a ton of open 3's I don't believe they will miss that many again. Three takeaways: 1. Bledsoe needs to stop shooting 3's 2. The Raptors look like the Bucks last year where they didn't have enough depth and their star players were playing too much. Kawhi looked dead at the end of the 3rd and part way through the 4th. If the Raptors keep on playing their core for 36+ minutes a game I think the Bucks can win this. 3. The Bucks need to switch it up with Giannis and have him start in the paint on some possessions.
  3. The Steeldrivers another band he was in is good also more bluegrass than country.
  4. Hated Captain Marvel in the comics and hate her even more in the movies. The one comic book character I wish they didn't bring over. I wonder with Deadpool's success if they will bring Blade back.
  5. If he wasn't believing he is a star or should be a star sounds like he would have a confidence problem this not having the drive to be a star or one of the stars on a team.
  6. I don't see why he wouldn't and if he didn't I would question his drive.
  7. Brinson and Cordell came from the Lucroy Jeffress trade to the Rangers.
  8. The Celtics bench compared to the Bucks in this series is horrible. One of the biggest reason why the Bucks are dominating the Celtics is because of the play of the bench or lack there of for the Celtics. I think the Bucks bench are outscoring the Celtics bench by nearly a triple digit lead. Haven't looked at the stats if this is true or not but it is probably really close.
  9. Seems like you don't know how the MLB draft works. It is not just losing a 4th round pick it is losing the money associated with that pick. What this means is that the Brewers will have less money to sign their picks. So if the Brewers lose another pick they will have to be more conservative in drafting a player meaning they can't go after a high school player or a junior college player who drops in the draft as they won't have enough in the pool to sign said player. It is not just losing a draft it is losing the slot pool that is associated with the pick that is what will hurt the Brewers. The less slot pool money you have the less you have to give for a signing bonus. This is a MLB sanction that teams can not get around. This is not just a money money money issue it is a futuristic look at the team the team has to keep on bringing in young talent and giving away too many draft picks in one year extremely hurts a team like the Brewers.
  10. Lucroy brought in one good prospect and two so-so prospects and Lucroy was packaged with Jeffress in case you forgot about that. Grandal could bring in at least one decent prospect not sure how that is absurd. Grandal for a top 25-40 prospect wouldn't be out of the question. Why does there have to be a deal in MLB history seems like you are just randomly spewing out garbage.
  11. A lot of over valuing of some players here. Yelich and Hader are probably the only untouchable players. This is more because of I don't see any team giving up the players needed for the Brewers to part with either Hader or Yelich. In order for the Brewers to trade Hader you are looking at a Chapman to the Cubs type of a deal as the starting point plus more. For Yelich you are talking about a trade like Sale to the Red Sox plus a little bit more. Grandal holds the highest value who could be traded. A Lucroy like return is what I would expect for Grandal maybe a little bit less. Guerra is probably the next player with some value but I wouldn't expect anything more than a B-/C+ type prospect. Think what the Brewers gave up for Soria as the possible return. Thames has some value but 1B/DH types haven't been bringing in much for value maybe a team might get desperate and go after Thames if they need a DH and you get lucky and you can get a C+ type prospect. This is the same issue with trading Moustakas though I think he could bring in a little bit higher prospect in the B- range but a team would have to fall in love with him. Perez may bring in a better return than Thames and Moustakas.
  12. If the Bucks win game 4 on Monday it is going to be extremely difficult for the Celtics to win this series as they will be down 3-1 going back to Milwaukee for game 5. The Celtics could still win game 5 but it makes it extremely difficult for them to win the series. All of the pressure is going to be on the Celtics on Monday the Bucks won't start feeling some pressure until game 5 in Milwaukee either up 3-1 or if the series is at 2-2 on Wednesday. I like the chances for the Bucks here after winning game 3 if they win game 4 I don't see how the Celtics come back and win games 5 6 and 7. Games 5 and 7 are in Milwaukee and stranger things have happened but I just don't see how the Celtics could pull this off. Brogdon will probably only play 5-8 minutes on Monday if even that. I don't think Brogdon is going to be coming back until game 6 the earliest and maybe out until the Eastern Conference finals.
  13. Chris Stapelton is really good.
  14. The NBA has a different playoff split. It goes 2-2-1-1-1 not the traditional 2-3-2.
  15. [sarcasm]Sharp objects should be banned from the clubhouse Stearns is a clown he should have seen this coming!!!!!1111111111!!!!!!!![/sarcasm]
  16. I hated season 2 of True Detective but season 3 wasn't bad. I also loved the Expanse one of the better Scifi shows. I also liked the show Happy not sure why but I liked it.
  17. Connaughton and Brown need to be playing off the bench and not playing as many significant minutes as they have been. It was fine against Detroit but not against Boston. Brogdon needs to hurry up and get healthy as this team needs him to be playing and starting at the 2. The only good thing from this game was Middleton and Hill beyond those two and Mirotic a little bit this team was just awful to watch. Giannis was bad like rookie Giannis bad and Bledsoe was just horrible for spurts he had a few spots where he was good. The big worry for me is the play of Connaughton and Brown. If neither of them can bring anything positive to the team in game 2 the Bucks could go down 0-2 and be in a really bad spot. I still believe the Bucks will win in 6-games and will have a bounce back game in game 2.
  18. As Brandon Jennings said Bucks in 6!
  19. Didn't see a thread and was wondering what everyone was listening to that is new. I am currently listening to the new Tech N9ne album. Really liking this song
  20. You don't know the full power of the soap dispenser!
  21. I don't think getting injured by salad tongs will ever be topped EVER! Maybe injury by suitcase? Suitcase I can understand it falls off the bed and lands on your foot or you stub your toe on it all possible and OK injuries. But salad tongs? How do you hurt yourself without trying with salad tongs?
  22. At least through 2020 there is a buyout for $4m in 2021 which seems like the Brewers will do this.
