  1. Better hope the Packers have a good record or Bennett will quit on the team.
  2. Well it isn't regulated but it is more secure than any paper currency.
  3. Another investment idea is BitCoin. https://bitcoin.org/en/
  4. George Hill at PG would be the best for the Bucks or Derek Favors at Center.
  5. For stocks this is basically what I use. The Elliot Wave Theory is what I use when I am investing though I do use triggers for my sales once I lock in a gain that I am comfortable with. I also know some very successful traders who bring in about $75k-100k a year just doing this but they are on the market all day. Apple is a pretty good stock in terms of the Wave Theory. Apple is currently in wave 5. I have lost some using this strategy but overall I have come ahead. I don't do long term investing that is what my 401k is for and my gold and silver investments. Everything that I do with my own money is all short-term and I think the longest I have owned a stock personally is for about 12 months and that was Amazon in 2015 which was a nice return on investment even if it was only 10 shares stupid car repairs.
  6. If you can get into real estate now or are already in it then yes. If the Fed does increase the interest rates to where they should be rental properties will be even better as there will be less and less people who will be able to afford to buy a house. If you are going into real estate to flip houses I would hold back until there is more information about what the Fed is going to do in terms of interest rates. Having less buyers if the interest rates do go up will put a hurt on home sales but rentals should see an increase.
  7. If you are going the real estate route what kind of real estate are we talking about? Business or housing? Real estate can be more riskier than the market and can be harder to sell or lease. Gold and silver can still get you nice returns just don't buy coins they are harder to sell ie. melt value is not worth it get bars instead and cut them up and sell when above market.
  8. It looks like Marquette is definitely in the tournament and will be a 10 seed with an outside chance of an 8th seed. Now the Badgers I still believe are an 8th seed but it looks like they will get at least a 6th seed maybe a 5th.
  9. I just saw Arrival I liked it but I hated the ending it made me feel like watching Contact all over again. Well not as bad as that ending but pretty much the same feeling. I was more disappointed in the ending than anything else really.
  10. The Bucks already have Beasley jacking up bad shots they don't need another in Jennings. Tough for beggars to be choosers at this point of the year...I think i'd rather have Jennings jacking up bad shots and making 40% of them than watch Dellavadova and Snell do absolutely nothing night after night. It takes real talent to put up a stat sheet donut in 28 minutes like Snell did the other night. So we need more of Snell and Dellavedova? Jennings is not better than either of those two and you take a rather big step back defensively replacing Dellavedova with Jennings. Jennings is a horrible defender while Dellavedova is actually average to above average defensively. Jennings just doesn't really add anything to the Bucks that they already have in Snell, Dellavedova, and Beasley. If Snell or Dellavedova weren't on the team then yeah I could see adding Jennings but why have 4 of the same players on the team it just doesn't make much sense.

  12. There is a difference between "no one wanted" and "agent asking for more than he is worth". I haven't read every post or clicked on every link or listened to the audio clip, but do you know what Boras was asking for? We are talking about Scott Boras here - he has a tendency to ask for (read: try to trick teams into paying) the moon. Wieters signed for 2/$21M. That's hardly "no one wanted". If he had signed for 1/$5M then I would say that "no one wanted" him, but for all we know Boras could have been asking for 4/$60M up until a couple of weeks ago. Maybe "no one wanted" is a little strong but there was very little chatter about him this offseason. I don't even think he had a draft pick attached to him. Every sports writer pegged him as going to Atlanta for some reason and I don't recall ever reading interest from their end. There was interest by Atlanta but they decided to go else where when the price tag didn't come down.
  13. Only 1 current player makes it to 2020? So 50-60 win team and waivers forthcoming to this current squad? Well, I suppose I can say 2 current players with Susac. Yah there are too many young players on this team for that to happen. Not only that, but too much money not being spent where a handful of players don't get some type of long term deal. If our team is pretty much all pre arby players I don't have much confidence in the organization. That team should be competing(at least trying) and I don't think a team loaded with pre arby guys can even do that. So the only way to win in MLB is to spend money?
  14. My prediction with a big signing in the international market in 2018. SP: 1. Shohei Otani (Not sure how the Brewers could pull this off but it would be awesome) 2. Woodruff 3. Hader 4. Kirby 5. Lopez BP: Williams T Williams D Medieros Ortiz Ponce Bickford Hauser C: Susac, Nottingham 1B: Coulter 2B: Diaz 3B: Erceg SS: Arcia LF: Orimoleye CF: Clark RF: Harrison
  15. The Jazz are shopping Favors. I am not sure on his defense but he is having a down year. I wonder what it would take to get him?
  16. I have those on my grill and I have heard them called flavor bars also. They should just lay right over your burners if you have a slot just above the burners to rest them on. It basically lets the juice drip away from the burners. It can cause some weird flare ups from time to time especially if you don't clean them. The ones I have are a solid and don't have the vents in the picture that you have. Mine look more like this but are a little bit more obtuse:
  17. Badgers looking more and more like an 8 seed at best in the tournament now maybe even a 10.
  18. Brewers Record: 75-87 Playoffs: No Brewers MVP: Shaw Brewers CY Young: Davies and he throws a perfect game against the Cardinals which eliminates them from the playoffs. Brewers ROY: Brinson First player traded: Nelson Surprise player: Perez puts up solid numbers and everyone is wondering why he isn't starting somewhere. Disappointing player: Santana with another injury plagued year. World Series: Indians over Nationals
  19. I heard Glenn Braggs is still in the best shape of his life.
  20. Current tournament rankings have the Badgers outside of a 4 seed so I don't see them getting a 1 or a 2. At best I think the Badgers could get is a 4.
  21. Was a nice game my first NBA game in awhile. Perimeter defense was horrible and Henson looks lost on defense. Hopefully with Middleton coming back the perimiter defense will improve.
  22. Actually it hurts a lot that $2m pool to sign draft picks leaves very little to sign a player over slot in the later rounds. Actually the Cardinals probably can not sign a player over slot without losing next year's 1st round pick.
  23. I completely forgot about Majerle's bar in Scottsdale yes that is Dan Majerle. I always forget he has one in Scottsdale also other than the one in downtown Phoenix. I hate all of the other sports bars in Scottsdale. But if you are going to go out as a family I would suggest TopGolf as there is more to do as you can use the driving range if you get bored though there can be wait times on that. http://topgolf.com/us/riverwalk/
  24. I think all of the home Cubs games are sold out or are nearly all sold out. Not 100% on that but it is what I have heard from some local Cubs fans. If you are staying in Scottsdale go to TopGolf. Fun restaurant even if you don't like golf. As for restaurants there are like a million of them near the Peoria sports complex. There is a Giants themed bare there. There is also Westgate that is by the Cardinals stadium that has a lot of bars and restaurants. The Lost Dutchman State Park is fun if you have little kids.
