  1. First part is incorrect. Here is a little guessing game. Guess which one is McGehee's out of zone swing percentage. Is it A.) 29.2% B.) 40.6% C.) 34.7% D.) 31.6% He maybe out of balance and his bat speed may have slowed down which would explain for the poor hitting by McGehee.
  2. http://www.nypost.com/rw/nypost/2010/01/18/sports/photos_stories/cropped/brett_favre--300x300.jpg http://www.dreamstime.com/paul-molitor-milwaukee-brewers-thumb17877806.jpg
  3. Robinson Cano and Cabrera. Cano's line with the bases loaded this year: 8/17, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 3 hr. .471/.429/1.235
  4. The Nationals and the Mets are going to be tough to play no matter who is playing them. The Nationals are not that bad of a team and the Mets are also not that far behind the Nationals. The Astros and Cubs are bad teams the Nationals and Mets are not cake walks also the Marlins are not that bad either.
  5. I am actually preferring the Cardinals winning when the Braves are losing or have lost. I would rather have the Cardinals win the NL Wild Card as that means it guarantees a series against the Diamondbacks for the Brewers.
  6. I changed the audio feed b/c of this. Thank MLB.tv for that ability on the PS3.
  7. Yuni should have swung at that first pitch. To me Yuni swings at bad first pitches but never good ones he should be swinging at.
  8. I'll be more optimistic: @Cin 2-1 (E# 6)@Cubs 3-0(E#3)Marlins 2-1(E#1)Pirates 3-0 Division winner! Finishing the year at 10-2. If the Brewers win all three against the Reds this weekend and the Cardinals get swept in the 4 game series against the Phillies the elimination number drops down to 1 and if the Brewers win on Monday against the Cubs the division is then wrapped up on that day with a Brewers win. If the Cardinals win two of the four games against the Phillies and the Brewers only win one game against the Reds the elimination number will be at 5. If the Phillies win 3 of the 4 games which I believe they will that drops it down to 5 without even a Brewers win. Realistically I expect the Brewers to win at least one game against the Reds which drops it to an elimination number of 4. With the Cubs, Marlins, and Pirates left after the Reds for the Brewers I don't see how the Brewers can not win the division. If the Phillies sweep the Cardinals it is all over for the Cardinals. The Cardinals have to win at least 3 games against the Phillies for them to have a realistic chance. Also don't count out the Mets being a hard team for the Cardinals to win against also that is going to be a very dangerous series for the Cardinals as the Mets are not a cake walk.
  9. Braun or Gallardo which one do you want to give up? The Marlins are not going to give up on this player that easily so it is going to cost the Brewers a lot. He is definitely not worth Braun or Gallardo but the Marlins still love him and are not going to part with him very easily.
  10. I would rather trade for a position player like a SS than a starting pitcher but Banuelos is more than enough for Marcum. It might be another year before Banuelos will be ready but he is definitely more than enough for Marcum alone. I doubt the Yankees trade Banuelos straight up for Marcum the Brewers would have to give another player in the deal to make it work. Banuelos is only 20 years old I believe and he already has a good to a great fastball with some really good accuracy along with his off speed pitches which rate from league average to just above league average. If the Brewers could get Banuelos they shouldn't ask for much more in return at all. Escobar from the White Sox to me should be the main target as he brings in plus plus plus defense at SS and he will profile better offensively than Alcides Escobar does/did.
  11. No lets hope for the offense to score more than 2 runs tonight. How about 5 or 6 runs tonight?
  12. This is kind of getting off topic but the best option for next year would be to bring in Willy Mo Pena or another right handed batter to platoon with Gamel at 1B. Otherwise the better option would be to trade Gamel for a SS or another position of need.

  14. Then who goes to the AL West? Plus it is not only Selig asking for this. Other owners are also asking for this.
  15. Why? Everyone has been crying for someone to go back to the AL and have 5 teams in the AL West instead of the 4 right now.
  16. The Cardinals are not going to like the beast/monster celebration there. Totally unprofessional and he is showing up the basketball making that scary face and inappropriate monster gesture at it.
  17. Forgot one........ http://wholesaletopjerseys.com/upimages/NFL%20Jerseys/Dallas%20cowboys/NFL/Reebok%20NFL%20Jerseys%20Dallas%20cowboys%209%20Tony%20Romo%20pink.jpg

  19. I prefer Arizona getting home field advantage and them playing the Brewers since that would mean I get to see the Brewers for two games then. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  20. It maybe a moot point if the Cardinals catch the Braves. The Braves are looking like the '08 Mets right now. If the Cardinals win the wild card the Brewers either play at Arizona which I wouldn't mind I would get to see two games then or host the Diamondbacks I would at least get to go to one game then. I don't think the home vs away is that important if the Brewers are playing the Diamondbacks compared to if there were to play the Braves or the Phillies. Though I do prefer playing the Phillies over the Braves.
  21. The Brewers could have won all but one of the games against the Phillies this last series. It is not like the Brewers were completely manhandled by the Phillies this series. The Brewers could have easily taken 3 out of the 4 games this series but they also could have lost all 4 of the games this series. The games were not blowouts they were rather close and with some luck going the other way for the Brewers they would have won 3 out of the 4 games instead of only winning one game. This series showed that the Brewers can hang with the Phillies and play very competitively against them. Unlike the Yankees and Red Sox series where the Brewers did not even compete with either team. I am not as worried about this series with the Phillies where the Brewers were in the game for 3 out of the 4 games they played them and could have one any of those games.
