  1. Sabathia has had a couple of years where he was just horrible in April. 3-yr average By Day/Month ERA W L SV SVO G GS CG IP H R ER HR BB SO AVG April 5.43 4 4 0 0 11 11 0 63.0 74 41 38 8 23 64 .296 May and September have been his best months. Some players take longer to get into a "groove" or have bad months. Sabathia's only really bad month is April. I'm not surprised that Sabathia had a bad outing in his first appearance of the year. April has been a bad month for him throughout his career. Look at his stats from each year he has been in the majors and you will see that Sabathia has been a slow starter. Though I do expect Sabathia to have a down year this year because of the abuse he was put through last year. Though his bad year will be a sub 4 ERA.
  2. Are the Bucks going to be able to get a top 5 pick in the NBA draft and if they do are they going to let Sessions and Villanueva go? I doubt Kohl is going to go over the cap next year and pay the luxury tax while other teams are cutting payroll. I'm wondering if the Bucks get a top 5 pick who they are going to draft and if they don't have the cap room if they will trade that pick or sign a foreign player who won't sign with the Bucks or is unlikely to be coming to the NBA this year. It is sad that the Bucks are going to be in a position where they won't be able to sign their draft picks and at least one of the two players they will need for the 2009-2010 season. I believe the Bucks are going to let Villanueva go and sign Sessions. Hopefully they don't sign Sessions to an above average contract. I would rather have Ty Lawson than Sessions if the Bucks have to over pay for Sessions. I really wish Redd wouldn't have gone down with an injury and that the Bucks would have at least have traded R.J. for an expiring contract. The Bucks really need the cap room for the next couple of years. I'm hoping the Bucks get a top 5 draft pick and can sign Sessions and either draft Lawson or someone who can play the #4. I believe the Bucks made a mistake in taking Alexander last years Hansbrough. I'm hoping the Bucks can either get Lawson or take Dominic James in the 2nd round. James would be a good complement to Sessions as the backup PG.
  3. I believe they open up earlier on opening day I can't remember how early it is though.
  4. Most of my videos are like this.
  5. 531 is the channel I believe. Most of the HD channels correspond with the regular channels.
  6. I believe you meant to say he is not an auto loss. But I agree Suppan is overpaid but he is not a bad #4 or #5 pitcher he is about league average as a #4 or #5 pitcher.
  7. Escobar makes more sense but still not a center piece for Peavy. The Padres are looking for young pitching prospects the last I heard what the Padres were looking for in return from trading Peavy.
  8. The only way the Brewers should trade Cameron is if Fielder, Braun, Gallardo/Parra/Bush, and Hart all get injured. Or if the Brewers are able to get someone in return to platoon with Gwynn/Duffy/Nixon. The Brewers would also have to get in return something of more value in terms of a pitching prospect which I doubt would happen. Cameron won't be traded anytime soon and if he does get traded it will be around the trading deadline.
  9. Every year that there is a trade rumor about someone on the trading block players are asked about it and asked if their team is on it or asked if they would like to have said player on their team. I wouldn't read too much into any of the quotes a player makes about another player on another team that could be traded. Hall, Fielder, Hardy, will say just about exactly the same thing about any player when asked about something like this.
  10. I'm not liking the rotation for the Cubs series especially the last game. Having Suppan going against the Cubs should be a big no no. Looper, Bush, and Suppan just doesn't sound good at all. I wish the rotation would have went Bush, Suppan, Parra in SF. Then come home to Looper, Gallardo, Bush. Maybe McClung will get a spot start in the beginning of the season. Maybe even skip one of Suppans or Gallardo's starts in the early part of the year. Gallardo is going to be skipped a few times in the early part of this season which is fine by me. He is going to have his pitch and innings count monitored in the beginning of the year hopefully Macha doesn't do a Yost. Parra was suppose to be limited in the first half of the year last season but that didn't really happen.
  11. Well baseball could always go back to the old old old uniforms one size fits all. Basically everyone on the team would look like Prince since he is the biggest player on the team. Look at some of the old style uniforms and you will see they were rather baggy. I personally like the different individual style of the players. I wouldn't like to see every player come out looking like Dave Bush every game or every player dressing like Prince. There are already enough boundaries in MLB of what each player can and can't wear and how they can wear their uniforms. Teams also have policies on what is and isn't acceptable already. To me this is a non issue and I wouldn't want to see MLB become the No Fun League.
  12. No the Brewers were interested in Peavy even with guaranteeing the 2013 year. It is the no trade clause in the last year of his option that would be the problem for the Brewers plus the Brewers not having pitching prospects that they are willing to give up. Jeffress, Parra, and Gallardo would be off the table. The Padres would be looking to take one or two of those players for Peavy. It just wouldn't make sense for the Brewers to trade any of those three for Peavy even though he would be under team control for a minimum of 4 seasons. Getting rid of any of those 3 players wouldn't be a good idea financially for the Brewers. All three of those players would out produce or be equal to Peavy and would cost significantly less. I would like to have Peavy in the rotation but giving up Jeffress, Parra, or Gallardo just wouldn't be a smart move by the Brewers front office.
  13. As long as Suppan doesn't pitch against the Cubs during the home opener I will be fine with this.
  14. We did get Carlos Lee for Podsednik, Vizcaino, and Hinton. So stranger things have happened before.
  15. J.M. Gold? I think that was his first two initials. I can't remember it has been so long.
  16. My uncle does this kind of work. Is he looking for someone to do it or just looking for advice on how to do this? I sent you a private message with the phone number and the name.
  17. Use the normal swing.
  18. Not true. You can get a new one if you have a change of address. I went into the DMV a couple of years ago to get a change of address on my drivers license and all it cost me was the price of a new license which was about $20 I think it was. You don't need anything but bring a bank statement with you with your current address just in case something has changed since I last did this. I didn't need anything but I did bring in a recent bank statement just in case.
  19. Braun is average maybe even a little bit below average in LF in his first year there. I don't expect Braun to be anything more than average in LF and Braun was helped out a lot by Cameron last year. Cameron made Braun look like an above average LF last year I don't see Braun as a poor LF though he is definitely average in LF.
  20. Yes was playing around in franchise mode. Traded Hart for Sonnanstine and another pitcher then signed Dunn to a 3 year deal.
  21. Nothing beats this song on the annoying level.
  22. I expect the Angels to sign Pedro before the season starts. Santana will be starting the season on the DL and it makes perfect sense for the Angels to sign Pedro.
  23. At least there is a new PC baseball game and it is only $19.99 so you really can't go wrong with that price.? The only thing I hate about the 2K game is that all of the free agents want top dollar contracts.? After 1 year there are a few free agents but after a couple of free agency years there are a lot of good players available even ones from the year before.? Manny Ramirez is still sitting in the FA pool after one year.? Here is a video I made of the 2 games that I have played so far.
  24. Yes Hardy was looked at as a pitcher by other clubs.
  25. I wonder if Gagne will take a minor league contract this year if he is able to come back. It sounds like in the article that Gagne can take a minor league deal if he is not on the 40 man roster. Not something Boras would advise Gagne on doing but it would be better than nothing.
