  1. Brewers will be picking 25th in the 2026 MLB draft.
  2. Bichette should get something similar to what Adames and Swanson got but I don’t want the Brewers to get anywhere close to that.
  3. I thought maybe he would go to the Blue Jays but it looks like they missed on another big bat.
  4. Turang to play for team USA.
  5. Are they supposed to hug have a long conversation make out and then profess their love to the world all while putting on a whole song and dance production? Seriously? Lombardi’s handshakes were quick and to the point was he a sore loser? A quick handshake and few words sounds like your normal end of the game meeting between two coaches. Unless the coaches are friends or know each other personally why would it be anything but quick? Sounds like you are looking for something to be mad about.
  6. What is original these days?
  7. Netflix buying Warner Bros.
  8. I would trade for Buxton but I don’t think the Brewers and Twins are good trade partners for this trade. Now if Brooks Lee became available now we can talk about a fit. Yes he wasn’t the greatest last year. But Lee at 3B with Durbin and Ortiz splitting time at 2B that would be a good offense and defense. Probably would have to do a Pena plus deal to get Lee.
  9. The Athletic has a good read on the pay for NIL. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6852076/2025/12/02/high-school-recruiting-nil-quarterback/ As everyone suspected QB’s, linemen and edge get the bulk of the money. TE, WR, RB, DB and LB get less. Though some may get more if they start right away. Some players also don’t get paid at all other than the scholarship.
  10. That is coming off losing to the worst team in the NBA.
  11. I think they only add one more as Jaylen Williams should get some starting time as an edge rusher next year along with Nicolas Clayton. Plus EDGE should be considered a OLB and not a defensive lineman. Most defenses use the EDGE as a OLB or they line up traditionally where a 3-4 linebacker would line up. UW also uses there defensive lineman more like DT than anything else. I don't think they add here and they look good. If you include EDGE as a LB which I believe you should they are fine here. I think they need to add at least 2-3 more. They will get at least two from the portal as I am not sure Carter Smith is ready yet. Maybe by mid season next year he will be ready but it is hard to tell with Freshman and how fast they can mature or not mature.
  12. The Brewers have been receiving a lot of calls on Peralta. They are now more receptive to possibly trading Peralta. I have asked some of my contacts about this rumor and they can confirm it is true but nothing has been discussed with any team on a trade. No names have been exchanged and it is mostly just teams checking in on if Peralta is available.
  13. The NCAA needs to put in a rule for NIL that a player needs to sign a letter of intent to go to a school before NIL money can be discussed. This should hopefully slow down the late hey we will give you money to go here instead while never being offered anything until signing day. Also they need to have it so it is a contract for two years. So the player actually has to commit for more than a year or give up the remaining NIL money if they want to transfer after the first year. I think that should help stabilize this a bit at least for a year or two.
  14. So more than what WI would pay dang Loch Ness monster!!!!
  15. I wonder how much he got paid for that flip.
  16. There is no credible source stating this only a post on Reddit with no link.
  17. He may not have a no trade clause but the NBA is ran by the stars of the league and not the teams. Giannis will definitely get a say on where he is going and the final say in that.
  18. I think you can remove Atlanta and San Antonio as destinations. Thunder sure I could see Giannis accepting going there. If a list of teams come out it will probably be Heat, Knicks and Celtics as his approved teams.
  19. They also may not have seen him as a DE and saw him as a TE while Iowa sees him as DE and not a TE.
  20. I am fully expecting a bunch of expiring contracts and two picks from the Knicks as the compensation for Giannis. Then in the offseason a 2nd round pick and an expiring contract for Turner.
  21. I think this is the right answer and he preferred to play as DE instead of at TE. UW has a need at TE and not so much at edge where I am assuming he would play in Iowa. It hurts to lose Janda but I think this is a reasonable loss if it is a position that he wants to play.
  22. Manoah signs with the Angels for 1.95mm. Good deal for the Angels here. Not sure that is the right spot for him to rebuild his value but ok.
  23. Remember Giannis holds all the cards and will dictate where he will be traded. I believe he said his preferred destination would be to the Knicks or so the rumor stated. Still Giannis will be able to pick the team he wants to go to. At best you are looking at mid to late first round draft picks and then expiring contracts in a Giannis trade. I wouldn’t expect anything more than that. He will be traded to a contender and not to someone who will have an early first round draft picks. Something like this is what I would expect:
  24. Can’t even beat the Wizards. Seriously??
  25. MLB only allows teams to borrow from MLB and the rate is rather high and is only there for extreme emergencies. So you can remove borrowing on the equity. The team is not going to reduce profits that is just not going to happen. From what I have heard the Brewers are on razor thin margins and the profits that they have cut into are all going into player development. The Brewers firmly believe in player development as their way that they can win. Don't expect much in terms of FA signings from the Brewers. They may invest more once Yelich is gone but they will then have to pay Chourio more once that happens.
