    Brewers now have home field throughout the playoffs.

    Never thought I would see a 100 win Brewers team. Watching the awful 90’s and 2000’s teams to this is really remarkable.

    The Bucks and another team are reportedly willing to give him a max contract in FA next year.

    It’s only a problem and the league is looking into it because he had a very bad year last year. If Trent had a decent or average year the league wouldn’t have cared as there would have been a reason behind the deal. Since he sucked it raised red flags. The NBA is basically going to set the tone for deals like this don’t promise wink-wink deals to circumvent the cap. Onto other news the Bucks are looking to acquire Jalen Duren and if the Pistons don’t sign him they will offer a max contract to him next offseason. I think the writing is on the wall for Turner. The Bucks are looking to get out of that foolish contract. I’m not sure there is a team that will give them anything in return for Turner other than an expiring contract and a 2nd or maybe a late 1st round pick.

    I think the Bucks are going to be hit hard on the Trent signing by the NBA. I don't think they will void the contract or hit Trent with anything but the Bucks are going to get hit hard. The Bucks are going to be made an example of to stop with the wink-wink deals. I think at least two first round picks will be lost and possibly having no first round picks in 2030. Which would mean the Bucks would lose one of the picks in the Giannis trade. Or the Bucks will lose their 2031 and 2032 picks. The Bucks don't own their own first round pick until 2031.

    Offensively they have the same skill sets. So having more than one is redundant. You either go short on the IF players or in the OF. Hamilton provides more value as he can play 2B, SS and 3B. I would take Hamilton over Frelick.

    Frelick should only be on the playoff roster instead of Hamilton. You can’t have both on the roster.

    The AL West division winner could be a sub .500 team.

    He looks to be a #5 starter at best and probably more of a bullpen piece. Also will have limited innings next year. Again the Brewers will need innings from the back of the rotation so someone will have to fill those innings at the #4 and #5 spots.

Right now they are looking for recent graduates.

    The Brewers will have to fill some innings for next year. Right now it is Mis, Harrison, Henderson and then a bunch of question marks. Not to mention the Brewers may have to add payroll to get at or above the salary floor if that is in the next CBA. Bringing May back to fill the 4 or 5 starter spot wouldn’t be all that bad of an idea. Priester may need some time and will be under an innings limit. I am not sold on Gasser making it through full season and there isn’t really anyone in the minors knocking at the door.

    Good news Doc has retired again from coaching. Bad news he will be an analyst on NBC games.

    Scoring 4 runs is where you start to see a neutral probability of winning a game. If you are averaging 4 or more runs a game you will likely be winning a lot of games. Though this also depends on run prevention. If you are scoring 4 or more a game but are giving up 4 or more a game then you are back at a neutral probability. A team that gives up 4 or more runs a game and scores 4 or more runs a game should be around the 75-85 win mark. The 3 or fewer record for the Brewers also tracks with the win probability which is at about 30% for 3 runs, about 20% for 2 runs and below 10% for 1 run scored.

    Other than the first quarter not too much to complain about. Some of the passes were really bad from Joseph but other than that I can't say there was much to complain about for this game.

    That could be an interesting OF with Payne, Theo Gillen (Rays), Dakota Jordan or Bo Davidson (Giants). The Tigers could also send Zyhir Hope.

    It’s near impossible to predict what the Brewers will do this offseason until there is a CBA deal. There will probably be a floor. Each of the floors proposed by both sides the Brewers would have to add to get to the floor. So if we assume there will be a floor then I see the Brewers being aggressive in bringing him back.

    Not much to complain about from this game. Was a nice dominating win from start to end. Defense got caught a few times in man coverage and got beat. Still haven’t seen Jaylen Williams play yet. Not sure why he isn’t seeing the field same with Jayden Loftin.
