Now that Burnes is going to the Orioles lets trade Peralta to the Twins. I would do this trade in a heartbeat but not sure the Twins would agree to it. Brewers get: Lee (3B), Soto (SP) and Festa (SP) Twins get: Peralta This would give the Twins a starting pitcher they need after losing Gray in FA. A big plus is that Peralta is not all that expensive. The Brewers get a MLB ready 3B. Lee could probably start right now for the Brewers and probably put up close to AS level production at 3B. Soto is a the long term project and then Festa would be a really good add. I came away impressed seeing him pitch a few times in the minors. He looked to do better in AAA than he was doing in AA. He has developed some really good command recently and he has a nice slider. He has also bumped up his velocity on his FB going from low 90's in college to now throwing consistently in the mid 90's and topping out around 97MPH when I saw him pitch. I think a trade like this would really help both the Brewers and Twins. A lot of the help for the Brewers would come in '25. Festa could be a nice pitching prospect to put between Misio and Gasser. Festa probably tops out around a #2 or #3 pitcher but he could be an ace if everything goes correctly. In '25 you could have an IF of Turang (SS), Lee 3B, Black 2B and Ortiz Util. That only leaves 1B as a spot to upgrade at in the IF. Defensively Turang at SS should be good while Lee and Black provide at least above average offense at their respective positions.

I have an old PC that I wasn't using and I have turned that into a media server. About 1,000 songs and about 150 movies all on my media server. Netflix, Amazon and other services are not needed. The only thing I actually need is electricity for the server to run. Also extremely easy to watch a movie by just selecting which movie I want to watch. I am using windows as the video card I choose (Nvidia) is not that good on linux. If you want to use linux then use AMD as AMD has better driver support for linux IMHO.

Yes was more referring to digital movies. If you create your own media server you can put all of your movies on a hard drive and watch them. Good thing right now is that physical hard drives are extremely cheap and even SSD's are extremely cheap. So you could easily build a media server with an old PC. All your movies and music in one place and no changing discs or tapes if you still have those.

He is someone that I have heard mocked to the Bears in the 3rd round if he lasts that long. I think he goes in the mid to late 2nd round. If he has a good combine he could jump up to a late 1st or early 2nd round pick.

I don't think you can access the cloud with the boxes. Though you could possibly do that with your TV via a USB. You may be able to do this through one of the cloud services but you would need to use a web browser I think or if you want to be really adventurous you could use an old PC and make it into a media server. Then you can basically use your TV as a monitor and play your movies off of that.

I haven’t looked but what about park factors for the two. I think Oakland is far harsher than KC? I think all of those take park factors into account but my brain no working today.

While I love the enthusiasm for this we are going to need to pump the brakes a bit here. While I would love 6 picks in the first round this doesn't really mean much if it is a bad draft talent wise. The top of the '25 draft class looks really good with Ethan Holliday (3B), Jace Laviolette (OF), Chase Shores (RHP), Xavier Neyens (1B/OF) and Seth Hernandez (RHP) each could be the #1 pick. After that you have a bunch of early round draft picks but it is extremely hard to tell right now but those 5 would be at the top of the draft. What we would want to see is a lot of talent that are maybe mid 1st rounders looking for that mid 1st round signing bonus. If there are plenty of those around then having those extra picks and money will help the Brewers get a better pick otherwise it maybe JUCO or HS prospects who should have went in the 1st round but didn't because of sign ability questions.
