I don’t believe there will be two rate cuts and if they do one it is because the economy would be sluggish. If you are truly a bull or optimistic about the economy then rate cuts wouldn’t be what you are expecting. The stock market isn’t really an indicator that I would use for rate cuts or increases. You would want to look into liquidity and the bond markets for that. The fed hasn’t really given much of an indication on what they are going to do. I expect a flat rate for a few quarters. Maybe a rate cut in Q3 if the economy is sluggish. I don’t expect the economy to turn sluggish but I think the Fed is going to keep watching inflation closely. I think it is more likely we see at least one rate increase than we are to see two rate cuts.

I think Jones made more sense with the Bears than with the Vikings even with the Bears signing Swift.

The Vikings are currently at the 11th pick. The Bears have the 9th pick and the 1st pick in the draft.

I have been having a lot of fun with my friends playing Helldivers 2. Very frustrating and fun at the higher levels. Also a lot of laughs and funny moments running away from bugs and robots.

If a team acquires a player before OD they are allowed to offer the QO and receive compensation. The player has to be on the team from the start of the season to qualify for a team to receive compensation. The MLB season hasn't started yet so trades that happen now and before the start of the season qualify for compensation.

I disagree the story was a bit off but was easy to follow at least for me but I have read the book. So maybe that is why I was able to follow it. Story wasn’t the greatest but I still loved the movie. Probably the best movie I have seen in awhile.

I think you would need some kind of tracker in the ball to take it away from the officials and even then there are plays that would be up to the officials to spot the ball. Would help with touchdowns and field goals kind of like the lamp for a goal in hockey. I am actually surprised the NFL hasn't adopted something like this for TD's, FG's and extra points. Actually I would like to have the kick and 2-pt tries eliminated.

Would rather have Belt be an alternate at 1B than be a platoon DH partner with Sanchez. Having Turang as the #9 hitter isn't the worst thing in the world.

Positional players tend to have an edge over pitchers in ROY voting. It takes a really special season by a pitcher to win ROY or the positional players are absolutely garbage. Of the last 10 NL ROY winners 8 have been positional players and only 2 have been pitchers (Williams 2020 and DeGrom 2014). If you include the AL ROY winners it is only 1 more (Fulmer 2016). Going even further back to 2000 a total of 12 have been pitchers and if you want to include Ohtani then 13. The vast majority of the time it is going to be a positional player than it will be a pitcher. I am not all that worried about Yamamoto winning the NL ROY as he would have to put up something close to what DeGrom or Fernandez did to win it.

I have coworker and when they say this, they or them it comes out as dis, dey or dem. It is bugging me. The over emphasis on the thhhh sound is driving me nuts today.

If they draft a lineman early it will be an interior lineman and I don’t think they do that unless it is a late 2nd at the earliest.

Far easier to show what not to do than what to do. It is why most coaches were bad or just average baseball players. Hitting coaches for example some of the best hitters in the game are one of the worst hitting coaches. Tony Gwynn and Ted Williams being the prime examples of this.

Skenes is probably the only pitching prospect I would trade Quero for. That would be a lopsided trade in the Brewers favor but I wouldn’t want anything less than that for Quero.
