  1. Ricky aka The Doorman, I've got a few things to say. First of all, what your doing is awesome, and secondly how long have you had those seats? I've noticed you there since miller opened or at least it seems that way. Edit- Didnt realize this was already answered
  2. Its too bad the Crew couldnt finish off a homestand and be team of the Month.
  3. 1. Rickie 2. Yovani 3. Ben 4. Braun 5. CC Then again i love every Brewer so it doesnt really make a difference to me who my numbers 1-5 is.
  4. Lets go Soup build on a strong start in St Louis.
  5. Ned said it was a different situation for Gange since he isnt use to pitching, and then coming back into the dugout and then going back out again. But he is throwing strikes and thats the best thing in my eyes since when he was doing bad at the start he was walking guys and getting in bad counts.
  6. When it was first being talked about that we were close to signing Jason Kendall, I was mad. I was ignorant, and thought, "What good is a catcher that cant throw and cant hit". But the more and more I see him calling great games and seeing his scrappy play (yeah i said scrappy) the more I like him. Great sign doug.
  7. If Lou had any smarts he would pitch Rich and then give him the extra day of rest after the Brewers series.
  8. Guys, I understand the Cubs series is huge, but we have a three game set against Houston that cannot be taken lightly. Lets go to take 3 from the Stros and ride into the Cubs series with an 11 game winning streak.
  9. Brian always seems to jinx the brewers, or at least in my eyes. I can not stand when he will sit up in the booth and say A long ball will tie it here. No duh Brian, any casual fan can tell if your down by 1 and someone is at bat, all they need is a homerun to tie it were not idiots. The topic of talking about the no hitters is also something that an announcer should not do. I dont care if you believe in the superstition (like myself) or not, Brian should say something like, "Something special is going on tongiht" but not mention the no-no. Both times he mentioned it in the Bush game going into the 8th inning Dave gave up a hit, and after the 5th inning of CC's game the other night he mentioned it and Ryan got a hit in the 6th. So thats my two sense about BA.
  10. Yeah it was a blessing in disguise i guess, but you dont know how the team would have fared if he wouldnt have gotten hurt or if Doug would have traded for CC.
  11. I cant wait until tomorrow. Lets make it 9 in a row boys.
  12. After tongiht Ryans final stats project like this: G AB R H DB T HR RBI BB K SB CS BA OBP SLG OPS 159 657 92 198 42 10 42 119 35 132 14 5 .301 .339 .584 .924
  13. That would be a pretty astounding feat for Braun to accomplish. Those are dare I say, MVP type numbers if he finishes with those stats.
  14. The homerun was awesome but the pose was not. I mean I love Braun's cockiness personally, but he took it 2 steps to far there. I would have loved to see him take 2 steps to stare and then get on his horse but he took roughly 5 steps. At least it wasnt Aramis Ramirez skipping all the way to first after his walk off against the Crew last year.
  15. Yeah JJ would still be a good second baseman, but I still believe Rickie Weeks has a big part of the Brewers future.
  16. I dont see Gibbons doing much, but he was a good low risk signing. I see Gwynn, Nelson, Pena, Dillard, Rottino. These are just some of the players I see being no doubters in my eyes.
  17. Yeah me either, Turnbow is too much of a headcase and cant throw it over the plate. Turnbow in a major league uniform again just isnt in the cards in my eyes.
  18. Believe me Weeks and Fielder are more likely to be in the Opening Day lineup of 2010 than Hall and Gwynn.
  19. Take me out Pedro, I just realized I am going to be out of town during this game, so I hope whoever wins brings home a W. Thanks again Pedro your the man
  20. Wouldn't Stetter be available since hes been on the big league team for a good portion of the season already?
  21. Believe me the man has done it his whole career, he can handle the work load hes taking.
  22. I expect a huge game from Benny tomorrow 7 IP 12 K's 0 BB's 1 ER (pujouls homerun, loan blunder) Lets see Benny send us home with a sweep and an 8 game winning streak
  23. Lets go Ben and make this the best road trip of the year in all of baseball. 7-0 WE on A ROLL.
