gamel/narveson/yuni/heckathorn for alexei/rios/danks(not sure how long is left on his contract)/dayan viciedo/cash. it would get alot of money off the books for chicago, brewers get the 2nd best rotation 1-5 in the nl, get rid of yuni, viciedo can play 1st after prince leaves, and get one of the best ss in baseball.

based on what houston is looking to get for pence, you think the giants could have gotten pence for wheeler instead of beltran? i'd much rather have hunter than beltran.

what the hell is kenny williams thinking. hopefully ozzie doesnt kill him before he gets a new coaching job. even if he is getting ready for a fire sale, he should have gotten rasmus for jackson. he's making melvin look like a genius(well, melvin before last off season)

the is no way gamel is one of the ptbnl... right after the deal happened melvin said they wont be any of the "top" guys. it will be one of stetter/parra/mcclendon/kintzler/dillard/difelice maybe even nieves/rivera/almonte/boggs(unlikely a position player) and a c-b prospect. this was simply so the mets wouldnt have to deal with the option and a pissed off benched closer.

  15. Kelbysdaddy
i wouldnt mind getting someone like brett pill for a back up catcher
  16. Kelbysdaddy
    what do you need?
  17. Kelbysdaddy
i know its not brewers related but i have a Carlos Gonzalez signed blonde rawlings big stick i'm looking to move. it's really nice but i'm taking my daughter to see manchester united in chicago next month and decided i needed a little extra cash more than that bat. it comes with a coa from just memorabilia. i'm hoping to get around $100 for it. i also have signed balls from eric hosmer and mike moustakas i'm looking to sell. both are sweet spot autos with the moustakas on a romlb and the hosmer on a midwest league ball. lmk if interested in any of them. -kevin

i have an extra kuenn. send me a pm with what you have available for trade or i have no problem selling.

if the brewers decide on 1 pitcher and 1 position player, what are the chances they take c.j. cron. i know short is a big need but so is 1b. i just hope they dont take an of in the first round. he looks like he can take a walk(31bb/21k) and has a bunch of power. although he could become another brad nelson.

are there any signabilty issues with Daniel Norris? that kid seems like a beast from what i've seen of him.
  21. Kelbysdaddy
i really like matt barnes and the high school kid from tennessee. i think they would be great for the crew if they go 2 pitchers. is matt purke's arm issue the main reason he has dropped so much? wasnt he back on the mound after just a couple weeks? he was a top 15 pick a couple years ago and from what i've seen has done very well in college. kinda surprised to see him drop into the second round(or supplemental) in most mock drafts.

wanna sell me the hunter morris name plate?
  23. Kelbysdaddy
new noise from the refused is easily the best choice but i doubt it would win since most people are unfamilar with it.
  24. Kelbysdaddy
maine on a minor league deal would be a good move
  25. Kelbysdaddy
may have been a possibility if the yanks signed crawford. he would be a great get for the crew. hes a scrappy guy with great speed, good defense, and seems to get on base. doesnt really seem like a yankee guy though(if that makes sense). i like the kid alot but dont really see the brewers matching up with the yankees. they already bought all the positions that the brewers could help out with.dh and 3b are set so no need for gamel or mcgehee, the brewers dont have the mlb ready pitching they would look for, highly doubt they would be interested in parra. their bullpen is really strong, so no need for braddock or axford. its too bad they cant trade draft picks in baseball.
