  1. Can't be too upset with our standing but again feels like we should have more than we do. Another dumb ST snafu hurt our field position badly and then some pretty questionable clock management.
  2. Honestly, it's one of those things a la Sterling Sharpe where I actually kinda think him getting hurt made them better, not through any fault of his own, but it forced them to start playing differently. Watson coming back was huge though.
  3. He's in midair before they even blow a whistle.
  4. Pretty low value FG but I think it's the right call.
  5. The calls thus far have been beautiful. The plays develop too quickly for the blitz to matter, and that is all Denver does, along with using the run to catch them being over aggressive.
  6. Just don't turn it over, please. Let McBoot launch it if we have to.
  7. Easy, he has to juggle that with mismanaging the clock.
  8. There's one reason you can't put a chip in the ball and identify the spot with lasers, and it's the officials union.
  9. Big time kick. Like the call, especially on the road when you kicked off to start.
  10. You can rightfully criticize the call but Jacobs is walking for a first down if the block does anything other than allow himself to get pancaked into the ball carrier.
  11. Can't block much worse than that, my God.
  12. Micah has exceeded expectation as much as anyone we've brought in since #21.
  13. I think your points are valid, but I don't think Collins was very valuable. He was like a worse Jesus Aguilar, a guy that everyone knew wasn't going to sustain the level he was playing at. He already had started dipping badly once his name got out there a bit.
  14. I'm glad this season will prevent the Bears from trading for Burrow. But Minnesota will probably be in line.
  15. I'm just not a believer in these teams that are sitting on top without established stud QBs. I don't believe that the Pats or Broncos will beat Buffalo in a playoff game when it really comes down to it. Same thing with Chicago or Seattle. The stars will dictate things when it counts. Not that those QBs are bad, I just don't think they're at that level yet.
  16. They really don't. They blitz on over 1/3 of passing plays. That's where their pressure comes from.
  17. They have white flagged it quite a bit since that game. But that was definitely an epic choke. If the Packers don't win the division, you will likely be able to point to any of their losses or ties, since all of them to this point were embarssments that shouldn't have happened.
  18. Collins screams regression. They got what we could have hoped for out of a AAAA player for a bit, reality settled in, and we got something out of him via trade. I liked Mears. I am a bit disappointed about that. It'll probably work out fine though.
  19. The tie game really wipes out any tiebreaker scenarios. If the Packers win this week or next, it makes it pretty tough for the Bears looking at the final 2 games for both. Dropping the next two probably gives it to the Bears though. I'd like the Packers chances even if they lose next week, if they win today.
  20. This feels like a tough game to win even though I don't think Denver is quite as good as their record. I don't like them coming out of the AFC at all. It'll be a hostile environment against a very good defensive line. They are a much better ST unit and I feel like we're going to do something stupid there to cost us. I am little worried about this team giving vibes of 2021 where the ST unit will cost them dearly in a playoff game. I think the Packers are going to have a tough time holding on to this division, but I also don't think it's going to cost them much in the playoffs. I think the Bears settle the score next week, but it's a wide open field. Going to Los Angeles feels easier than going into Philadelphia. Not a real believer in Seattle, even though you probably should be statistically. Much rather play Darnold than Stafford.
  21. Any relation to Erykah?
  22. You are correct. Completely forgot about Howard Green and attributed Pickett to being the in season WW pickup.
  23. I couldn't care less about it but you'll never get me to believe that it wasn't directly influenced by the "I enjoyed beating him twice" line. MLF doesn't like him, I wouldn't like him, and it was clear with that no-shake handshake. MLF is playing it beautifully as if the guy isn't worth a thought, but he obviously thinks he's a douche, which you probably are if you're going out of your way to name drop a guy who doesn't know you on any level. I think the standard across the league is you stop and embrace for 3-5 seconds and whisper a sweet nothing. They definitely wanted nothing to do with each other.
