  1. I think beating this version of this team 4/7, playing the postseason version of baseball, we needed their bus to crash on the way to the park.
  2. It wasn't a knock on the fans. The crowd has been fine, but they have had no reason to be enthusiastic. It's been a library in there 2 nights in a row.
  3. I can't say I'm surprised by the results, just bummed this hasn't been fun to watch. The crowd has been lifeless both nights. It's been a weird couple of games. We're not getting annihilated on the scoreboard, but it feels comfortable for them and like everything is a major struggle for us. Technically close, but it doesn't feel like we can win.
  4. May as well give up 10 runs if we aren't going to score.
  5. Hoskins would have brought more than Yelich has at this point. Yikes.
  6. Not a fan of the guy but I believe that was Tom Grossi along the first baseline.
  7. We're at least hitting the ball hard, which always annoys me when I hear other people say it, but after last night I'll take what I can get. Feels like we can eventually string something together tonight.
  8. He's in Adames category to me. Good player that I appreciated but happy to see him go.
  9. We got nothin' on these guys. Sorry. There is just too much juicy up and down the lineup. I'm not even mad.
  10. I know you can't ask for more from a leadoff batter but having someone on base for our bombs would be nice.
  11. I think we'll be alright. Shook their pen a bit. I don't think we'll be 1 hit through 8 every game. This was always a Herculean task but I think we'll make it interesting at least. NLDS just re-emphasized that these runs are filled with anguish. Anyone who followed the Bucks run should recall that as well.
  12. We have to win 4 games, it doesn't really matter which ones they are. I wouldn't draw too broad of conclusions from one we happened to lose. It's baseball.
  13. Idk how you let yourself dodge that pitch with the bases loaded in the 9th in October. He will be replaying that one for the next couple days.
  14. Well if we don't pull this out, we shook Sasaki I guess.
  15. Uribe was dumb, sorry. This game was very low win probability and you have plenty of high leverage arms to get 3 outs in a game you're losing. He just threw 2 innings on Saturday night and now you (hope) you have to throw him tomorrow.
  16. I'm struggling to be upset by this. We never had a pulse. Tip your cap, we just didn't have a chance against this guy tonight.
  17. Snell is a dog. Doesn't look taxed, worried, or like he's pitching anything more important than a spring training game.
  18. Yeah I think that is probably spot on. I don't know what else the Brewers can do about it though.
  19. We got absolutely worked tonight. Hope tomorrow is better. But this one feels like it should be about 6-0 and backed up the whole David vs. Goliath narrative.
  20. I was hoping we could at least lose twice before all the "we need to fix baseball" hot takes come in. I get it. Baseball isn't fair and it is stupid. But it's one game. This was always going to be an unlikely favorable outcome. I'll just point out that (this game isn't yet over btw) the Brewers won Game 1 in 2011 and 2018. We beat the Cubs. I'm good. I hope we at least make this fun.
