  1. Gruber is a heavy hitter. The commercials are tacky, but that firm is very good at what they do and he's enormously successful. He doesn't do any lawyering anymore but the dude was having dinners with Obama not long ago...anyway, let's get some runs.
  2. Gruber played college basketball at Delaware...was a team captain, believe it or not. His son played at Brown and works at the firm now. Both were very good players.
  3. Aguilar was a candidate of many for disappointing player of the year. It's early, but wouldn't be super surprising.
  4. I don't care much for Rodgers as a guy, but my thing from day one is that this ego, sensitive BS has never changed. People only care when you're losing. He's the same dude he always was. Insanely good, and very likely a pain in the rear, like Kobe, MJ, etc. I dismiss Finley. He's mad about something, and has not handled his career being cut short very well. Jennings has been very transparent about his beef stemming from Rodgers not fighting to keep him in GB. That's honest. If he were trying to smear him, he wouldn't admit that.
  5. Actually many people have said Jennings is wrong and it is easy to find that. You just dont seem to look for it. And many of these players are not current players who seem like they would have to say it - Casey Hayward, Chris Banjo, John Kuhn, HaHa, James Jones, even Ryan Grant https://247sports.com/nfl/green-bay-packers/LongFormArticle/Aaron-Rodgers-good-teammate-current-former-Packers-players-support--130985476/#130985476_8 Oh, ok then... None of those guys say Jennings is wrong. None. They just either make a generic statement or say something that has nothing to do with him/they like Rodgers. Both can be true, you know. Jennings, on ESPN last week, said he never heard about the massage and that it was beyond anything he saw or heard. Again, Packer fans continue to misconstrue the things he says. Grant, on your list, said Rodgers is overly sensitive. Clay Matthews has said it. IMO, it is about the harshest thing Jennings has said. For some reason, when he says it, people act like he's the only guy saying it.
  6. It's like Burnes asked Chase Anderson how to prepare for being a starter.
  7. Wow that's the first I've heard of PI being reviewable next season. My god, that is going to be unwatchable. It already is. That is horrendous.
  8. Meh, I really like Rock. I don't need genius insight. I'm there to watch the game. He and BA get along great and always keep talking about fun stuff. He's the uncle at the BBQ that's had a few too many, but I like having him around. He has some pretty cool anecdotal stories and every now and then gives me something about catcher play I didn't know. Enjoyed the story the other night about Nolan Ryan.
  9. I think one pretty strong argument the other way is that most if not all teams benefit from taxpayer subsidies and as such should have an obligation to the media.
  10. Why pouring it on Albers so much? Pre-injury he was quite serviceable last year. Other than one bomb just now he's been pretty good this year. Could do a lot worse than Albers.
  11. This quote applies to every single team in the league though, that is why it is so silly. Yes teams get off to leads and don't pad the leads all the darn time, all teams in baseball do it. This isn't some thing unique to the Brewers which is just absurd to believe. You have any data to back that up? Kinda seems like you should be the one supplying the data in this scenario.
  12. The offending poster tailors his whining on a nightly basis to whatever thing the Brewers are or aren't doing and pretends it is a problematic trend. There is a reason people ran with "pour it on."
  13. I like it. Chase pitched well. Let him walk off on a high before it has a chance to go south. Albers had to throw some pitches anyway. I don't think he's been out since 3/31 unless he was and I'm blanking.
  14. You should probably just stop. Seriously. The real issue? Good grief. Last week Mark Attanasio was PT Barnum.
  15. I've never seen so many people convinced a minor league player is going to come up and just rake immediately like they are with Hiura. I've seen so many of these can't miss guys whiff over the course of my life, I just refuse to count those chickens before they hatch.
