  1. I'd be in a hurry if I'm Buffalo. You have to be absolutely sure you at least get another possession in this game and expect that KC will score.
  2. This turned like lightning. I never let myself believe Buffalo would win, but they were looking really good like 5 plays ago. Now it feels over.
  3. LMAO. What a joke.
  4. Now based on my views today this probably will surprise you lol, but if Buffalo scores, THIS is where I'd consider going for 2. It is a low risk and high reward. Miss it, you're up by 7, make it, you are up 2 possessions on Mahomes with 9 or so minutes left maybe. Yes you do risk losing the pressure of KC needing to covert a 2pt, but imo the reward is worth it.
  5. I thought the exact same thing. They won't give it to him on this review though.
  6. I don't know. I mean it's not crazy, but the pendulum is swinging so hard to risk these days that it's getting to the point where teams are doing it needlessly. I get that you wanna be within 3. That's fine. But I generally don't like going for 2 unless it's near the end of the game, and you are running out of possessions. You just end up chasing that point the rest of the game if you don't convert.
  7. That was a beautiful play call on the touchdown and the effort by Cook was remarkable. Not only the reach and holding onto the ball but contorting of his hips and arm to make sure that ball got in before an elbow or knee. Amazing play.
  8. I missed the Bills PAT/2PT on the touchdown before half. Did they go for 2? Why? Those are two big PATs right now.
  9. That game really gets overlooked in terms of demoralizing Packers losses for some reason. To me, it's second on the list behind Bostick Bowl. Not only was it a bad loss, but I strongly felt that we were the best team in the league that season, the Rams are the worst champion in recent history, and we beat both teams in the Super Bowl that year. Just devastating. We had a pretty easy path to get there too and just absolutely ate it.
  10. It's insane. It would be one thing making this excuse against Tom Brady and the Bucs in a championship game. A 2nd round home game in the snow as a 1 seed, during an MVP season against a 10-7 Wild Card team that was probably worse than the Packers were this year? No injury would be an excuse other than Rodgers.
  11. They were a Wild Card team because they finished behind the other teams, lol? You don't say! I'll admit I thought they were 9-8, though. The Packers had no business losing that game. Sorry. It was a choke of the highest order. You have a home divisional game and the freaking MVP of the league at QB. You find a way to beat Jimmy Garapollo. Can't believe you're even trying to justify that as a game they should have lost.
  12. I'm lost. That wasn't an interception. But there was holding. So Buffalo is hoping to win a challenge (they won't) to give KC a first down, 5 yards from where they began the play. Bizarre.
  13. I won't let myself believe KC is going down
  14. It's almost like they have a sound organizational structure built to withstand the loss of one or two guys rather than strap all hopes to one superstar. Crazy. At least it seems like that's what the Packers are trying now. Just not as good at it.
  15. They literally went to one of them with their backup QB playing in the playoffs. And that's the year they won. Sorry, but Bhaktiari's injury at the very least, was not an excuse for losing a home playoff game to a .500 team as 1 seed with the MVP.
  16. The one excuse I'll give McDermott if they do lose, is that I don't remember one of these games in which they were expected to win. Can't say that about MLF.
  17. Buffalo is cooked. We were destined for the PHL/KC Super Sleep that nobody wants
  18. I lived through all of Favre and Rodgers and I've seen the Eagles play in more Super Bowls than the Packers. Pretty disturbing reality and a very bad reflection on the Packers.
  19. Honestly, there's an aspect to this that is very depressing to me as a Packers fan. Philadelphia has made 3 Super Bowls with the likes of Jalen Hurts and Nick Foles in a span of 6-7 seasons. It kinda makes that "the Super Bowl is hard to get to" refrain fall flat as an excuse for why the Packers haven't been there in 15 years. And they had a number of teams good enough to do it. Three appearances with 30 years of Favre and Rodgers just flat out isn't very good.
  20. Honestly, I've never seen anything like this. I'm not a conspiracy theorist in the slightest, this game is already decided. But the Eagles get literally EVERY conceivable piece of laundry. I am expecting the late game to be similar.
  21. Washington deserves to lose which is a shame. Not a single one of those fumbles was an impressive defensive play. They were a good enough team to beat Philly.
  22. The difference is that in Washington's case you are still losing if you do kick the PAT. It is much easier to justify what they did than what Philly did. You're ahead by 8 already. You're fine. Just take the 2 possession lead and kick the PAT. But I still wouldn't have attempted either PAT personally, and I also don't agree, they're not equivalent situations. It's 14-12 in the second quarter, you're losing, I don't think you need to be worried yet about playing catch-up. It's not the same circumstance as padding a lead you already have. You're playing from a clear advantage in the second situation and it makes complete sense to pad the lead. I suppose just a matter of preference.
  23. Buffalo is easy to root for but I'm pretty convinced they're going to lose.
  24. Just don't agree. Needing an entire extra possession is a huge deal. More importantly though, the difference between 9 and 10 just isn't significant enough to put that extra possession on the line. Going up 8 is a significant advantage. All the pressure is on the opponent - they have to score AND score a 2 pt. Kick the PAT. Ensure they need the ball an extra time. It's just dumb over aggression. I wouldn't have taken Washington's attempt either, but the Philly one is just needless. The reward just isn't valuable.
  25. I'd prefer to see the Bills win the AFC, but I think KC gives the best chance of Philadelphia losing.
