    I'd still rather have Love on a team than Darnold and there are several likewise who've had better seasons but I'd still take Love. In no particular order, Mahomes, Burrow, Allen are guys are definitely a different level, probably Hurts with what he does on the ground too. After that it gets really subjective, maybe a name or two I forgot.

    I have to agree. We all know what the weaknesses of the team are but Love's inconsistent if not mediocre season has to be a concern.

    Yeah, I gotta be honest. I was fine with losing this game and borderline preferred it as long as it was like the Lions 2.0 game, but this absolute wet fart has me thinking this is more of a top 10 team than a top 3 team. They've just done this too often against top contenders, it can't be excused away. It's who they are.

    The Vikings won't win the Super Bowl and the Lions possibly could so I definitely prefer Minnesota to get 1.

    If we weren't going to come out and blow the doors off in this one I think I'd rather just have a more fun game in Philly that absolutely nobody expects us to win. Put old yeller down quickly or surprise everyone with a huge win.

    It's just an IGT thing to make the Packers sound like the worst team in the NFL any game they're losing. Even if it's by like 7 points. That said, I think the Packers have habitually been flat, with a lot of these kinds of mistakes in these huge games quite a bit this year that there is valid criticism to be made. To me, it just looks like a good team that is, young, and still on the upswing, but not ready for the brightest lights quite yet. On offense they lack a receiver that really scares anyone and defensively they rush inconsistently and lack a playmaker in the middle.

    Not a defensive coordinator but it sure looked like the Packers protected the end zone there and gave up whatever underneath. Which is pretty dumb. It's massive to keep them out of a FG there.

    Love quietly wasn't very good against New Orleans either. He was off quite a bit.

    Packers do seem to do this kind of thing a lot against better opponents. Feels like every loss this year is loaded with missed opportunities. It always feels like they move the ball but make a lot of unforced errors on offense.

    I don't think anyone has supreme confidence in the Packers winning 3 playoff games. It's more that there isn't a runaway team, nor is there a huge gap between 1 and 7. And that the Packers do have a talented team that looks very good at times. I think it's entirely possible the Packers lose their first playoff game. If it's the Rams it's probably about 50/50 and they're an underdog against either Detroit or Philly but it's still a game I'd think they have a chance to win, unlike prior years where I almost knew with certainty who they couldn't beat.

    Bears ended up as the same joke they've been for a while. Presumably 11 straight losses to end the year and the 3 wins before that were all against trash opponents. Bears fan coworkers were legitimately convinced they were going to finish ahead of the Packers this season behind Caleb Williams. Unreal delusion.

    I don't think the Packers care what I think, but as a fan there is just a mental block for me as far as going into Minnesota and winning at the end of the year, and then having to sustain that level for a month, especially if it's hard fought game that leaves more guys banged up. I would almost rather just lose the game holding a few guys out, then recharge when it matters in the Wild Card and put your best foot out there. And I think Minnesota is the least threatening of the 3 teams ahead of us, and play indoors...so I would rather have them end up #1 than Detroit and certainly Philly.

    Right. There isn't really a "best team" IMO. It was Detroit, but they will have a lot to overcome.

    I'm with you. And I don't really get the obsession with avoiding certain teams anyway. The Packers will be 6 or 7, on the road against a loaded NFC field regardless. We've fallen flat as a 1 seed so many times. The path people are likely "hoping to get" is the Rams, followed by the Lions, followed by the Eagles. It's not going to be easy any way it falls. That said, Detroit needs a week off the most. So I would like to not see that happen.

    The Vikings are at home with a lot more to play for than GB. I think the Packers should be resting/light work anyone who is aching. I don't really care if they win next week tbh. I would much rather see patchwork Detroit have to play a wild card game than see the Packers beat the Vikings in Week 17.

    The path to the Super Bowl is going to be a gauntlet in any situation. I don't think the seed matters too much, but obviously I would prefer to hang on to 6. I think the Packers have the current strongest upward trajectory in the NFC. Philly and Detroit have more problems in their current state.

    Those are definitely both games Washington can lose. I hope we keep 6, but my ideal scenario is that Minnesota pulls to #1, we stay at 6 and play Atlanta in the first round. I don't think Atlanta is going to end up making it though. In my dream, Washington beats Philadelphia and Minnesota and we beat Atlanta and Detroit (beats LA) and play Washington at home for the NFCCG, lol.

    All their star players have vouched for him and Jerry said some kind things. I think McCarthy is safe.

    With what the field is going to be I think you want the Packers going to LA where the fans will almost definitely take the stadium over. I do not want any part of a trip to Tampa and I don't want to fall to 7 and go to Philly. Then you can dream that Philly gets knocked off again by Washington.

    I Googled a bit. Seems like MLF is lying or there was creative editing used to splice two different bits of him talking about TT and Gute drafting Love. Anyway, the series is good, entertaining fun especially for a Packers fan. Lots of cool interviews, moments with Brett. However I hope people realize it is directed by the son of the Deepak Chopra, who I'm sure Aaron is friends with and so it was likely to present him in a flattering light. That said, I enjoyed it.

    As in, not sure why he said it? Because he's the one that said it, lol. Suddenly his record challenging calls makes sense.

    Sidenote, one of the most interesting parts of Enigma is that it sounds like Jordan Love was drafted by Ted, not Gute. The GM change had happened by then, but per MLF, Ted believed that Jordan was too good of an opportunity to let it slip away. My impression was always that that was Gute and Ted was a figurehead by that point.
