  1. They got about as far as they should have. Yes they went 0-5 against the top teams, but let's be real, there were some near losses in those wins too, against some not great teams. They were a backside playoff team. They were interchangeably 4-7th depending on who you ask and by the end of the year they leaned more to 7th. If they were 6, sure maybe they beat the Rams I guess. Lots of work to do but I think they're probably better than how people are going to act this off-season. I think Love's best is ahead of him still.
  2. That's a fitting end to Love's forgettable season. Bad throw to an open WR for 3 yards and a first down. Oh well. There are plenty of spots that need some help in the draft. I am wishy washy on Adams but they need help at WR too.
  3. Even if it did mathematically this game has no shortage of things to point to.
  4. It's a long shot either way but this is exactly why I'd have played for 19-11. I figured they'd drive but hoped we could tighten up when the field shrank a bit. If you miss the conversion you're in the same spot you are now. I think we'll have a hard time moving the ball here without any receivers regardless. Honestly just glad we didn't get absolutely annihilated. I think we got beat by a better team all things considered. No magic pixie dust this year.
  5. I don't think they will keep them off the board. I expect them to score again. But I get why they didn't, I don't think it's egregious.
  6. If the Packers score they should go for 2. Keeps it one possession with an Eagles FG.
  7. Well everyone says we don't have a #1 WR. Does it work if we don't have 2, 3, or 4 either.
  8. Right on cue. And Balentine probably became a meme.
  9. I was already groaning when I saw it was first and goal at the 9. If they aren't inside the 5 I almost expect they won't score.
  10. Now that the game is technically back to one score, this is consistently where our defense that's played well all day quickly makes it 2 scores again.
  11. There are some glaring personnel deficiencies on that defense too.
  12. Whatever happens to this defense the rest of the way, the outcome is on MLF and this offense. They did everything within their power to make this a game outside of holding them to 3 on the opening 20 yard drive.
  13. The defense kept it manageable but I don't think it's a winnable game realistically. The defense played a half that was necessary to compete today and got zip from the offense. Missed FG, horrific interception when kinda driving. It's been the same script from all the losses this year. There is definitely a gap that needs closing with where the Packers sit in the top 12 or so teams to get into the top 5.
  14. You keep saying this. There isn't any fooling going on. They were 11-6. They lost all their games to teams with 2 or 3 losses who are clearly superior. Then a game against the Bears where they benched a bunch of guys. They're about as good as the other teams in the league with 6 or 7 losses. That's what their record is, so what fooling is going on?
  15. No idea how this game is 10-0. Feels like 31-0.
  16. Lol. What in the world was that throw? Did he forget what team Baun was on? My God. They don't come much worse than that.
  17. Illegal touching on the Packers off the gunner's arm. The opening play of this game, an illegal hit which caused a fumble we recovered. Packers haven't helped their cause since, but the Eagles haven't done a whole lot honestly.
  18. I'm laughing at this point. This is the stamp of this team. If the usual suspects don't mess up, somebody else does.
  19. Love is fine. He's not had a great season. It's completely normal for developing QBs to have years like this early in their career. And before anyone says it, yes, Love is a developing QB and having years on the bench isn't a substitute for being a starting QB.
  20. I had no expectations of winning this game but the vanilla flavor of the offense is super unimpressive from a coach who's supposed to be offensive minded and innovative.
  21. That pass rub on 2nd down removed any dream I had of stealing this game. And I'm calling it a pass rub. They rub into the offensive line. They don't rush.
  22. Atrocious. Nixon had that ball. And again I say, why even have instant replay if you're not overturning that.
  23. What an awful slate of games thus far.
