  1. I've seen something like 3 plays of the game and could see the Cowboy's MLB was in complete guess mode on who has the ball and what whole he should fill on option plays. Mike Singletary could come out of retirement and do better. Ray Nitchke too!
  2. [sarcasm]The Big10 requests all their teams to stay home for their safety?[/sarcasm]
  3. They'd be dumb to dump Wentz, IMO. I know he has looked poor all year, but I don't think he has much to work with - especially with the OL. Hurts looked great for one drive when the defense was planned for Wentz - and Hurts could get outside the pocket. But the defense adjusted and Hurts looked much as Wentz did at the end of the day.
  4. Personally, I hope they keep the pick and take a chance at a higher ceiling player, but Claudio did have positive bWAR both of the last two years (0.6 and 0.1), which is probably more than the average B level comp pick. And Narvaez's return isn't finished yet. I'm still betting his goes positive next year. But given this is practically a 1st round pick, they should hang onto the pick.
  5. Yeah they do but it's fun to see their mongoloid fanbase squirm for a few days. Please don't insult the Mongols!
  6. So part of me just laughs and laughs at this because it is Michigan and Ohio State; and I have no love lost for either one of them. But there is part of me that says... Ohio State clearly deserves to play in the Big 10 championship. But I don't say that too loudly.
  7. Poor defense or not, I wouldn't be surprised to see Vogelbach as part of a 1B platoon. I doubt he is very tradeable at this point, either.
  8. If you want MLB ready talent get ready for a trade like this: Gabe Gross, Dave Bush and Zach Jackson. You are not going to get an All Star level player for Hader it is just not happening. The best bet is to go for a prospect over MLB ready type of a deal. Exactly. Let's not assume we are trading for Yelich and Hader, when the reality becomes Lance Lynn...
  9. I followed the link and found it was about issues with our ST, but it is always nice to provide context with the link.
  10. Gary is the OLB that sets the edge best on our team. Z is OK, Preston has been the worst.
  11. This is one retread I would consider. Otherwise, I'd be looking to find the next up-and-comer DC instead of rehashing guys that have been at several places with diminishing returns and trying to recapture that one magical team where it all clicked for them.
  12. Probably a better chance of moving Cain/Garcia at the trade deadline if they are playing well and BB attendance has rebounded.
  13. I think Hollman has a real shot to be a starter in the league too. He came in with good measurables and from a smaller program. He has filled in this year without any big gaffes. I think he'll be one of those guys that will take a couple years of development but at least will be a good backup or potential starter.
  14. Yes, this year's team seems very much like a transition team and trying to find their identity. That'll happen when you lose a central player like Taylor. Its easy to say Coan would've been better, but I'm not 100% sure. Mertz is certainly going through some rookie bumps, but we barely have any WRs healthy for him either. And Coan had some stinkers last year, too. Not to mention the stress of playing on and off this year (and recovering from COVID). Berger is going to be really good. Dike looks like a player, too. I think we had some very highly rated WRs either as freshman this year or next coming in? Recruitment seems to be improving the last couple years, so I'm thinking we are starting a nice run of top-10 rankings and challenging OSU for the BIG10 title.
  15. I don't think Stafford nor Ryan get in. Numbers, sure, but that seems more part of the times than HOF talent. I'd say the same about Eli, but with 2 SB wins and a famous name, he is a lock.
  16. How about Lew Alcindor?
  17. Much like Wentz... Hmmmm...
  18. Who in blazes is in charge of the camera angles? He should be sacked.
  19. Wait, how was Bahk all the way down there??? .
  20. Incredible run by Jones, but a major assist there by MVS's blocking.
  21. That's why he'd a DB and not a WR...
  22. I think I found the Eagle's main problem: Pedersen's glasses are fogged up due to his mask.
  23. I can't understand how we can continue to fail at special teams for years and years.
  24. There were a lot of rules changes in the last 20 years to favor offense too.
  25. That drive was amazing. Adam's catch, Lazard's catch, Jones hit 2x behind the LOS - yet still gained yards. Finished off by Adam's man-handling of the CB to get in.
