  1. I'm thinking the typical football-watching crowd isn't the right demographic for these fragrance-for-men commercials...
  2. Well, he's had more options open early so he doesn't need to wait until then to get rid of the ball either.
  3. They've given up 4 sacks in the first half... Bad things can happen to them, too.
  4. The offense seems to be clicking now. Finding a lot of holes with crossing routes around 10-15 yrds deep.
  5. Unless contact is made, neutral zone infraction shouldn't be a thing until the ball is snapped. I hate, HATE, the false start and point (even when we do it).
  6. Pre throw contact legal there because they’re on the line of scrimmage. Rodgers double-pumped and Adams was wrapped up before the ball was thrown (3rd down play).
  7. How is that not a hold of Adams in the endzone?
  8. Yes, but after that first snap, Patrick is looking better at LG. I'm just surprised they didn't keep Runyan there instead of shuffling everyone.
  9. I'm kind of surprised Wagner is in, shifting Turner and Patrick to new positions instead of starting Runyan.
  10. So a friend of mine to tell me that his nephew has a new partner at his moving company job: Kobe King. Evidently he left Nebraska BB and is waiting to play in Canada in the spring.
  11. I'd guess the PTBNL is a Rule V draft candidate. If he is selected... then probably cash.
  12. I have a daughter that is completely blind and her Echo Dot enables her to do so much. Music, books, just "talking"... she uses it like the rest of us use TV or other screens. We have it hooked up to our phone line so she can call anyone in my phone list. Her best friend also has a Dot also, so they can chat with each other. I'm sure sometime in my life she will be driving places too. Amazing times.
  13. Sounded like Houston was forced a bit here. Westbrook and Harden both demanded trades after the coach was let go. Looks like they are starting a rebuild and trying to get what they could get. Westbrook and Wall had the same contract. I saw an article "rating" a B+ for Washington and a B- for Houston. I guess it depends on whether Wall gets healthy again.
  14. I figured it might be a little slow, but there is no way to approach my door where someone could sneak in. We did a "13 days of Christmas" and dropped off a gift at my neighbor's house each day for 13 days. My sons made it a game to see if they could elude the Ring camera. They did so most of the time, but my neighbor noted that he saw the footprints in the snow between our houses.
  15. I just ordered a Ring doorbell. I had the option of "plus" which meant it stored 4 seconds of pre-recording before the event occurred. I passed and bought the regular. If nothing is moving, why do I want you recording it?? Not to mention the additional battery drain. Alexa (I have two) annoys me because there are certain things it won't do correctly and it seems intentional. Play a playlist on Amazon music? Works perfectly. Play a playlist on a competing music service? "I can't seem to find that so here is something you didn't ask for, nor sounds remotely like what you asked". Alexa is a little spiteful when you don't use Amazon services...
  16. On the news last night, they said it was the largest COVID outbreak in NCAA football? Something like 40-some players?
  17. Ted Davis calls Giannis "The Alphabet", so I hope so too. Technically, that would be: ΑΒΓΔΕΖΗ
  18. I'm wondering how much the churn at MLB this year contributes to their run/pass defense at RB. Kirksey, Martin, and Barnes are all individually skilled. But between the three, they've hardly played consistently together even through game 11. Throw in Greene, and that is another variation in the group. Barnes: Games 1-8 Kirksey: Games 1-3, 10-12 Martin: Games 7-8, 10-12 Greene: Games 2-4, 6-7, 9-12
  19. Not surprising, but China was under-reporting and covering up information early also. Seems like they knew that they had something other than flu in Dec 2019 also. https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/30/asia/wuhan-china-covid-intl/index.html
  20. Complaining about the Broncos QBs not wearing masks is one thing. Just blaming someone because they got COVID is another. Nothing is 100%. People will get sick. It annoys me to see people getting sick blamed.
  21. Gathering Place by the Waters
  22. I actually like them, but they don't really scream "Bucks"...
  23. Maybe we can just cut-n-paste the old Hader - starter or reliever discussion here? Yes, starters are harder to find and more valuable. But realize how hard it is to succeed in the MLB in general. Williams was listed outside the top 10 on the Brewer prospect list at the start of 2020 and completely off it a couple years ago. He found a spot where he can succeed and excel. Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
  24. If I remember right, Howard Green had bounced around quite a bit before the Packers grabbed him during the 2010 season. He ended up playing a huge roll on that team's playoff run, and in the Super Bowl. But then, Green was a veteran, while Rush is pretty inexperienced. I'm wondering if Dontari Poe has gotten himself healthy in the last couple months since the Cowboys dropped him? If he's right, he'd be a huge asset to the defensive front. Gilbert Brown was inexperienced when we got him too. But we love the "it worked" examples. We forget about the dozens of "it failed miserably" examples for every positive one. But you can't find the good examples without trying. Hopefully, he becomes GraveDigger 2.0.
  25. I'm mid-40s (and likewise helped my parents set up their Alexa device remotely last year) and am a software engineer. I also have teenagers, so I tend to keep up with tech (mostly). But I can't stand how tech is tied to social media/online accounts - you can only set this up by signing into Bazooka Bob (if that was real, I'd probably join Bazooka Bob). Everything is designed to herd you to something else. I'm also annoyed that video calling is company specific. I have Alexa, so-and-so has Google, such-and-such has Apple... none work together.
