    Howard's posted a blog item admitting he should have mentioned Sessions but essentially saying that Sessions has no chance to be the starter this season.

    Possibly unrelated, but I had a problem with my drive last year and discovered that Roxio's software had done something to prevent the system from detecting the drive. We uninstalled the Roxio stuff and everything has worked fine since then.

    It is pretty nice. I've always had problems with Gameday hanging up, though. And that doesn't appear to have changed.

    I like this deal.. even if Yi is "very good" someday, it was unlikely that he would still be a Buck. I can't imagine he would have stayed here after his rookie deal expired. Obviously they need to do more, but losing the deadweight of Simmons' contract is good.

    Baltimore seems to be lacking a shortstop (Bynum and Luis Hernandez getting most of the starts there this year)... throw Hall in too!

    In this case, the two runs charged to the second pitcher would be earned for that pitcher, but count as unearned runs against the "team".

    Van Gundy is reportedly biding his time until a "plum" job becomes available and will probably spend another year in the booth, according to a NY Post reporter that Sparky talked to yesterday morning. I don't think he was ever an option for the Bucks.

    Skiles is not exactly a "players' coach".. after a few years he really starts to wear on people. His players essentially quit on him this year. I like the move but without massive roster surgery I don't think there will be much success this season. Given the contract situations this could be a multi-year rebuild. The Senator hasn't shown much patience with the last few coaches so it will be interesting to see how long a leash Skiles gets.

    Seems to me hiring Buzz would be tantamount to saying "We're turning this program over to 18-year olds."
