  1. Kuener struggling in the 4th. Single, walk, wild pitch. Then gets a pop out and a K to end the inning. Still 4-2 Shuckers. Feeling that they need a couple more before the night is over. T-Rats in a bind with two on and Campbell and DePaula up. But they are retired. 2 outs.
  2. And Broca closes the door. Phew. Muddies win. 70 wins for the season noice T-Rats get a runner to third with one out. Wood K, Vargas grounds out. Ugh still down 4-3
  3. Alas nothing further for Biloxi. But the Sounds get a run 1-1. Mudcats - Broca gives up a double and it’s now 6-3. No outs 😥 EDIT : and another hit and it’s 6-5. Oh no. I can’t live through anymore bullpen gaffs. Last night was too much.
  4. Jesus Broca on to try to close it out for the Muddies. And gives up back to back singles. Let’s buckle down and get the last three outs. Meanwhile 2 on after a Warren double and O’Rae walk. Let’s get some runs Shuckers.
  5. Man I’ll be happy not to see the Loons. Campbell and DePaula have been on fire against them the past few nights. Now a 4-3 deficit for the T-Rats. Mudcats cruising now 6-2 after Dinges plates another run. 12 hits! And hey what’s that. The Shuckers (sans Boeve 😞 and still now Wilken) score 4 runs. Now up 4-2 after Barons get a couple across in the 3rd against Kuener. Still 2 out let’s hope we keep it there.
  6. All of this on Frandy and Wandy are helping me to recover from last night. Thank you The two nearly back to back bullpen breakdowns in both the High A and MLB games (sigh) have left me a little wanting of something good. Either was T-Rats, Mudcats and the big boy Brewers have had a great season so far. And looks like more young men (boys?) who can join them in the next few years. Exciting times here at BF.net .... sorry brewerfanatic.com
  7. Yeah nice hit by the batter and the relay was lost. But Figueroa was wild in the 11th, and gave up some hard hits in the 12th. Needed some zero in extras. Even with the runs in extras, just felt like they needed to score more. Tough way to end a not so great night for the affiliates. And no DSL box scores to soothe the soul. Good night all. Good night @Joseph Zarr
  8. walk off. T-Rats lose. Figueroa did not have it. And the offense could not get the extra run. Tough loss.
  9. Yup. A 1-run lead was not enough. Sheesh. A single up the middle and it's 4-4. A runner on 1st, and only 1 out. Figueroa at 50 pitches.
  10. And Figueroa is on for his 3rd inning of work. Oh boy. Let's hope for some more control.
  11. Areinamo robbed, and Hedbert does not execute with a lazy fly to center. Now 2 outs. Then have to get another run here to try to help close it out. EDIT: Well no. Valerio with a tough day at the office. 0-5 with 4 K. Only a 1 run lead. Not sure who is pitching the bottom of 12.
  12. And Garcia does like Equarqui and deposits the ball into LF, scores a run, and he is on 2B. Let's hope there is another hit here to extend the lead. But right now it is 4-3 lead.
  13. Figueroa gets the swinging K on J. DePaula the uber-talented prospect. Very nice. Tough inning for Figueroa there, pretty wild, but gets the big Ks to end the inning. But walked in the tying run in between. Well extra extra innings on to the 12th. Let's get some more run T-Rats
  14. His strike zone has been ummm inconsistent. THat is a nice way to put it. And Figueroa walks in the tying run. They needed a 2 or 3 run inning in the top half. Ugh
  15. Bases juiced. Figueroa has been wild. A nice slider gets a K. A grounder prior to that. 2 outs and bases loaded, and the Loons hottest hitter up, and FIgueroa is behind 3-0 ugh
  16. Figueroa just missing the zone. Walks the first man, and now behind on the next batter. Not shaping up well.
  17. Solid contact by Lara and Pratt, but just two loud outs to RF. Crap. Still a 3-2 lead, but may need a 2-3 run lead. Let's hope the bullpen can finish the job.
  18. EDUARQUI! 2B to get in the run. Let's go get some more runs!
  19. Clutch pitching for the T-Rats since that HR Costello allowed. Now the team needs to get some clutch hits please.
  20. Yeah Valerio had strike 1 and 2 called generous. One or the other absolutely OK. But both edges of the plate, maybe not. But he got flustered and struck out. Hall looks at strike 1 and 2, and then strike 3, but called a ball. Maybe payback? Then lays off two very nice pitches, unfortunately doesn't get the contact he hoped for. Good eye. But weak contact. On to the bottom of 10 still tied.
  21. Sounds get a HBP (Clarke) but O. Miller strikes out. Only 2 H. 0 runs. Hard to win that way. Sounds loose 5-0 TRats on to extras. Biloxi - well still nothing going on there.
  22. Or get fly outs. Still no hits and no runs in the 9th. Strong work young man.
  23. Lara HBP. Pratt K. Garcia fly out and grounder to 3B for Areinamo. Still tied in Great Lakes. Going to the bottom of the 9th. Shuckers and Sounds still scoreless - and only 5H between the two clubs. Arroyo - Hicklen - Clarke start the bottom of 9, that's a group of rally starters, right?
  24. Ha shows you the difference between seeing the game and reading the box scores whoops 🙄 But I have seen him with more timely hits recently- his power has not come in - not even gap power, but I have seen more contact. That’s the settling in part. The power, the elevation, those are what he needs to get on the map. But the games I have watched he seems less lost at the plate then late June.
