  1. Dang. Well hit ball and a very nice catch by … workinger. Ugh that man. At least he leads off the inning so the worst he can do is tie it. Would love to see him retired.
  2. Man Suckers are not getting a read on this reliever (former MLB pitcher) And in the desert- Mercedes is pitching well. But the offense that went crazy the other night is being held hitless again thru 5. EDIT: Ha! Again auto correct made it Suckers instead of Shuckers which is fitting given the lacks of hits again.
  3. Extras in Columbus as its bonus baseball for Shuckers and Clingstones
  4. Yes sir. And I can get used to that DSL ‘24 trio getting multi hit games (I mean Peña and Made do that already boy it would be nice to see Anderson start to get on base consistently). Is it me or does he look like he less overwhelmed at the plate?
  5. Yup he (Workinger) feasts on the Shuckers. Wow. And this is the 3rd time they play each other (7-6 Shuckers lead so far) and it had been the road team in this series typically let's see if that hold true tonight and the next few nights. Biloxi lost series 2-4 in Biloxi home opener week Biloxi took 5 of 6 in Columbus to start that great winning streak
  6. Ethan Workinger has absolutely killed the Shuckers - he hit how many HR in that last series?? (the one that started the amazing offense roll the Shuckers had been on) Hunt is not the same guy we saw last year. Not sure what can help him out, but he has those flashes, and then a walk or a couple of hittable pitches and the game goes sidewides for him.
  7. Wow. Walked away for 20 minutes and Hunt went from cruising to not And Muddies got some offense going.
  8. Yeah it’s really Lara and Pratt. Murray has been good recently. But boy would it be nice to se Boeve start to hit. Kinda like Carolina with two 18 year old trying to keep the offense going, two 20 year old are now the main offensive focus of the Biloxi line up.
  9. I will take 2 IP by M. Rodriguez back from his IL stint and the offensive production from the top 5 in the TRats lineup. I will ignore the bullpen implosion (Root was very dependable last year if I remember correctly) And Nashville, not the sharpest outing by Henderson, but he got to the 6th with a lead, and the offense did get 10 hits. A normally reliable bullpen was atypical today, but still eked out a win. Oh and a couple of young pitchers faced off in Milwaukee, wonder if anyone followed that game 😁 So is 19 K and only 2 runs and 3 hits allowed (sure 7 BB) in your first 16 IP over 3 starts OK? Asking for a friend...
  10. Broca closes the door. TRats come from behind win in a game they had no right being in Az Brew Crew get hits - 9 hits through top of 4th, wait 10 hits. 4-0. Nice offensive showing by the baby crew. Fun fact - Max Durrington plays for the ACL A’s - Trent Durrington’s son OK calling it a night. Both Wisconsin teams win. Otherwise not a lot of offense outside of Wisconsin, the desert and the one DSL club.
  11. Good things tonight - Hardin 6IP, only 1 R, and 6K for Biloxi in a loss that would have made the ‘24 Shuckers “proud”. Nice pitching though. Pena keeps hitting- and I can’t tell if I’m upset that Made/Pena can’t take this team on their shoulders offensively without Dinges/Adamczewski and with Payne hurt/struggling and Bitonti struggling. Or if I’m happy that Made/Pena are holding their own as very young 18 year olds with the weight on the team on their shoulders? Areinamo-Dinges-Burke 4-12 with only 1 K and driving in 4 of the 7 runs. Broca in for the ninth….
  12. Sorry, Perkins singles but Quintana - who is coming alive - with the RBI single. 3-0. Montero grounds out to end the half inning.
  13. Baby steps. Woessner gets a scoreless inning if relief and is given a lead. But goes single, GIDP, walk, single and can’t finish the 8th. Broca WP and then 2run 2 out single. 7-6 TRats still lead. On to bottom of 8 AZ Crew getting some hits and runs. Encarnacion with a run double. Then Perkins with a single. 3-0 Brew Crew in the desert.
  14. Oh crap @Joseph Zarr - I keep forgetting you watch on delay. But I guess if you don’t want spoiler alerts ignore my updates 😂
  15. Made-Peña-Bitonti get hits in the the 9th to make the final score looked better. It’s a 13-6 deficit with 2 down in the 9th. TRats take the lead! Wild pitch with bases loaded, the Baez fielders choice, Areinamo single and Dinges fielders choose and its a 7-4 TRats lead!!
  16. Well TRats scored a few - Dinges singled home a run and Blake Burke with a 2 run HR. 4-3 deficit Hayden Robinson pitches 1.2 scoreless innings with 2H, 1BB, and 3K. Tobias comes in and pitches to two batters. Encouraging seeing more than an inning for Hayden.
  17. Tonight on the farm is not so great. After a long day. I may just catch up the reports tomorrow. Glad @Joseph Zarr is on it tonight!!
  18. It has gone dry the past few - I mean several games are the exception- but several teams have not been hitting regularly or not scoring when they do get hits.
  19. We do have another thread on Wilken and his injury. https://brewerfanatic.com/forums/topic/45381-brock-wilken-injures-knee-rosiak-indicates-inflammationswelling-more-testing-next-week/#comment-1665182 Do we need two threads? And we may want to keep speculation to a minimum and report updates as they come along. I am still unsure if this thread was started because the poster knew of an update or diagnosis, but I hadn't seen anything updated. Should we close one thread and/or merge?
  20. Man Fielder had some night, but only 1XBH of his 5 hits, still 5-5, raising his OPS to .981 And Quintana is really coming around after an awfully slow start - his first 10 games (5 for his first 40 AB, with 15K!). Also he has ridiculous home/away splits, which may not be too wild considering his age, and first season playing in the US affiliated ball. Corobo and Encarnacion continue to show enough to be optimistic given their really young ages. Montero has cooled off but drew 3 walks last night and Ereu cannot buy a hit but 1BB, 2HBP (ouch) and a sac fly. Solid pitching lines last night - only two pitchers to complete the 9 innings with limited damage and impressively 1BB to 8 K. Loved the videos as noted above. Thanks for linking those @Jim Goulart
  21. Yeah. Wow. 7 run 1st. Batted around with 6 hits (all singles), walk, 2 HBP and an error. Perkins 2-2 already. Quezada had a better 2nd inning. ACL Crew up 7-1.
  22. Is this what he was diagnosed with?? If so, freak accident, but better prognosis than a ligament tear. He may be out for 2 months if this is what is going on with him maybe?
  23. Yoho on for the 9th. First pitches are ball. Next 6 pitches strikes or hit in play. 1 K, 2 weak grounders to 2nd. 1-0 Sounds win. That’s two solid outings this week by Yoho. If he can throw strikes and get weak contact he will succeed.
